  1. It's almost like -- and help me with the timeline here -- Texas is coming off the single worst coach in program histor, we fired that guy and he went on to get fired from USF because he's fucking terrible at his job and we had to rebuild from the ground up. So again - a simple couple of questions. Do you think Texas is better today than they were in 2016? Do you think Oklahoma is better today than they were in 2016? Now, let's try a quick exercise take the 2016 and 2020 Texas rosters and combine them and let me know how many guys from 2016 are on the depth chart. Now do the same for OU.
  2. I assume you mean the defense creating turnovers? And the defense and Hurts were so bad at those things in 2019 that it caused a 4 year trend? that's some shit. So we're going to blame turnovers for the one score games, right? Bad luck on the D and slippery-handed Hurts. Right? The 2016 OU team had 17 turnovers and played in only one 1 score game. That same 2016 team only had 17 takeaways. Hmmm. What could possibly be the difference between 2016 and 2019, given similar numbers? Could it be that defense was an actual priority at practice at OU in 2016 and that Stoops valued physical football while Riley favors incredibly high reps to increase offensive execution, to the detriment of his defense? Could it be that Schmidt while a total cockface, is an excellent S&C coach that helps build strong physical players while Bennie Wylie is coming off a reality TV show and leaves a trail of soft injured football teams in his wake? Probably not. Wait, why is that OU continues to be humiliated on the national stage against teams with comparable talent? I'll help you. It's a complete lack of physicality. Agreed. A state of 30MM people has more meth users and mobile homes than a state that doesn't even have 4MM people? FFS, you have less people in the entire state than there are greater Houston. Also, don't be fucking obtuse and/or disingenuous, meth (and opioid) abuse is a very real problem in Oklahoma and the stereotype exists for a reason. Be better than this tired 2001-era BBS bullshit.
  3. He didn't play varsity at Heights as a FR - but moved over to Katy last summer and played varsity but never started, at least that I am aware of. http://www.hudl.com/v/2CXHM5
  4. they're going to need to give him a starting spot to get him, luckily for him he probably could start for them this year. of course, he didn't start last year for Katy so ...
  5. I know you guys don't seem to see it and I know you are a shitty ass troll but if you are brave and strong and willing to wait to tap that meth vein for a few minutes answer me this one simple question. Why is is that with the massive talent disparity between OU and the rest of the BigXII (and we will leave the Texas out of the discussion for the sake of rivalry) -- why is that Riley and Grinch and their combined mega-mindness played in 6 one score games in conference in 2019? Note this trend in one score games for OU in the BigXII for OU. 2016: 1 2017: 3 2018: 4 2019: 6 FWIW - all 4 years the game with the Texas team that you do not fear? 1 score games. All of them.
  6. Any idea why @Doc Sam Beckett? I know that a lot of it seems to revolve around Dabo wanting to have in-person contact vs. kids wanting to have decisions made sooner in this crazy ass year, etc ... but is that it? It seems like the coaches and support staff are still super active with recruits, lots of communication, etc ... but it was a light switch flip - leading for a lot of guys that appear to be leaning elsewhere now. It's still a LONG way to ESD or NSD I've just been a but surprised by the momentum. Though I will say that getting Paige and Pennington back-to-back was a real shot in the arm. Two absolute hammers.
  7. “Wanting to be where we’re headed but never really realizing how far we were off” fucking chefskiss.gif the video in question. Watch it. Championship talent in full display. I implore you to check out the sled work at 1:12 --- Chibuzo 52 and Akinola 74. Holy. Fuck. http://www.cbssports.com/general/video/b7085913-3986-4a7e-9dac-097f65f36a6b
  8. When he was a prick, Reno Hightower was the best damn quarterback in Kern County
  9. At least the expectations for Jaylon Jones are in-line with reality. Stingley ran the fastest 40 of any player at the SPARQ combine. 4.3 40 (with a 4.26 shuttle). Jones ran a 4.66 40 with a 4.5 shuttle.
  10. Burris is done for the year. Achilles injury, I believe. Jasper Lott TE/OT from Argyle is the son of the LA Rams S&C Coach. He’s supposed to be up 20+ pounds from last season. Interested to see where his frame goes.
  11. per Drumm :: BREAKING NEWS Rattler as the starter is news to no one. Another injury is also news to no one.
  12. Looks like aggy went with 2 different types of edits at midnight - this one appears to be the most common style :: while this one (Ty Simpson here) indicates a bit higher profile or target :: or this one (in Donovan Green's composite pic) -- which, like the Ty Simpson edit, appear to sell Adidas more than aggy, which is probably smart ::
  13. no idea where exactly to put this but TEN on one day? Oof.
  14. wow - appears to be 2. Judson college and all-girls school in AL and Judson University which added football in 2019. http://www.judsoneagles.com/sport/football I'm assuming that Converse Judson would be -16.5 on a neutral field.
  15. So I'm not sure how to feel about this. A Daddy98 post. First, it seems almost totally coherent. I hope that it's coherent to you all and that I haven't perfected a DaddytoEnglish inner monologue. Second, he seems to be making sense and none of it has the heavily homoerotic overtones of the common Daddy98 post. Do you think it's at all feasible that he was sober this morning? I didn't know such a thing was possible. aliensguy.gif. and then Richw4 comes in and saves the day with a full tilt aggy post ::
  16. it's a 40 year decision you stupid sip. WHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPP
  17. but Pawl said on the radio SEC! SEC! SEC! Cut to 2026 -- a Freshman WR at USC just got a check for the same amount that the entire starting defense at Mississippi State received.
  18. Update on RB Donovan Edwards from MI — I wonder how this will play with Camar and you know he will get to hear this... Oklahoma has surged some in the recruitment. “Coach (DeMarco) Murray the running backs coach we’re in contact a lot,” Kevin Sr. said. “Matter of fact I talked to him today. Coach Murray was a running back and he’s there at his old school and he often tells me Donovan is No. 1 on his board.”
  19. Aggy with a RB offer in PA :: https://247sports.com/Player/Samuel-Brown-46085670/
