  1. Scheme issues have been addressed by firing that stupid Meathead but Ossai in 2019 —- 90 tkl 13.5 TFL 5 sacks 2 INTs in the only game not called/schemed by Orlando he had 9 tkl - 6 TFL - and 3 sacks. Against probably the 2nd best OL we faced all season. I expect he’s going to put up video game numbers in Ash’s D. he’s going to go high in the draft. Overshown has been the biggest impediment to his own development. If he had the Adimora’s mentality he’d be a top 20 NFL pick. BJ Foster will be drafted as well. Might need to stop punching cars.
  2. 2nd year in a row for him. He should attempt to opt out if he can, if he wants to save a year. He could be a grad transfer with 3 years of eligibility if he plays school.
  3. Exactly. It’s early August with16 commits — Texas will add 8-10 more players to the class. Far from the folded up wishcasting aggy/Sooner carping.
  4. So Foster opted-out is in the portal but was getting reps?
  5. @Fud probably knows but I think they were already at like 74 or something insane before Vincent and Thomas.
  6. LSU - you hate to see it :: LSU junior defensive end Justin Thomas has left the team, head coach Ed Orgeron said on Tuesday during a Zoom press conference with local reporters. "Justin Thomas is no longer with us, he's left the team," Orgeron said. "It's unfortunate." The news come one week after LSU defensive end Neil Farrell chose to opt out of the 2020 season. There was a point when both Farrell and Thomas were talked up as LSU's potential starters at defensive end for the 2020 season.
  7. I missed that Foster is back and working with the 2s and 3s. I guess there were no takers on the open market for him? he’s still in the portal, per Tarp. At this point isn’t he just stealing reps from King? by-product for merc rentals, I suppose.
  8. So early report on Sooner Summit attendees it appears that Emeka Egbuka, JT Tuimoloau, Mario Williams, and perhaps Bryce Foster will not be there. Drumm will have a full list on Friday.
  9. Herman is going to have to hire a fucking full time recruiter for Hand just like he did for Drayton. Long term he’s probably not the guy, honestly. Hand’s panic offers/interest from the 2021 class have been illuminating. Illuminating in the way that Hand clearly isn’t the guy identifying the talent in previous classes. Let him work in grad transfers and “positional fit discussions” and let some young Turk do the heavy lifting (see 2021 RB recruiting).
  10. Aggy has hit the practice field and we have very limited video. Some hilarity, as usual. http://www.cbssports.com/general/video/b7e9ea8b-4baa-45cb-9bff-7645348e5a19 Demas is fucking tiny. Holy shit.
  11. Here’s my take on Drones from earlier this summer ...
  12. Team Drones-or-get-grad-transfer-if-needed-later. I don’t want Texas to reach for a Mordecai type backup plan. Drones is an upgrade over Milroe. Let the current QB room sort it out.Jackson can RS (and seems very aligned) there’s no reason to reach for anyone or add a body just to add one.
  13. I don’t expect James Brock or Milroe to play any meaningful downs at Bama in their careers. I don’t think they would’ve played here either. 2020 is fucking wild.
  14. If Jalen Milroe is afraid of competing with Card — he was never going to start for a Herman-led team and its highly unlikely he will be willing to compete enough to play at Bama. He can try to claim it’s about Yurcich but the timing is clear — Ewers got him shook. He simply doesn’t have the competitive sickness of someone like VY.
  15. I don’t think this is why, but... Brooks update :: “I'm told that despite Brooks' shape, he has been dealing with some nagging shoulder issues since his freshman year. That had some to do with his opting out”
  16. All three are gonna hate standing on the sidelines watching Texas beat their teammates into submission. \m/
  17. Several people shared that Murray alienated that OU RB room and he has made several recruiting gaffes this season already. The RBs at Arizona were very glad to see him gone and he made a mess of their rotations. He may end up being a good coach in the long run but right now he is very inexperienced and very abrasive. both are working against him and this isn’t going to help. this isn’t a new take btw —
  18. Anyone surprised by another RB opting-out/leaving hasn’t been paying attention. When Sermon left it was rumored that the RB room wasn’t enamored with their new coach.
  19. Nine Sooners tested positive in their return to campus. After having none under the staff’s eye. actually makes a pretty compelling case for player safety at the schools.
  20. Sounds like Emeka Egbuka is passing on the Sooner Summit. Indeed. I think they are selling him on the dual SDE/DT roles, depending on down/distance.
