  1. might turn out to have been "misread" or "misinterpreted".
  2. For the people affected by the death of Charlie Kirk: I can understand the concern and shock of such a heinous act. What is happening to this country and world? How did we get here? Why is their so much divisiveness, hate, and violence? What happened to caring about our fellow man? Why are some people not deeply disturbed or angry about this? All understandable questions. Here is something to consider. There are lot of people who feel like this every day. Every. Fucking. Day. We see Palestinian kids with their limbs blown off. Dead children in Gaza or in our very own schools are commonplace. We see a POTUS and MAGA movement that by the hour tries to divide Americans. Masked ICE agent ripping people off the streets. US troops invading our cities. So when we're screaming at the top of our lungs, freaking out over the continued destruction of America, trying to reach people that are blinded or don't truly care, we get a little pissed off when people pop in with a brief moment of moral clarity. We anticipated this horror. We tried to warn y'all. You didn't listen. So fuck off with the judgement of how people feel about Charlie Kirk's death. Every day things get worse. We're fucking tired. We don't have the energy to unite in solidarity over another needless form of hate/violence when you've been covering your eyes and ears for so long. Wake up.
  3. While you've had your head buried in the sand, people have been screaming from the rooftops for a decade about the danger this country and its citizens are facing. Half of our fellow men have bent the knee to an authoritarian. So go "find the human race again", aka pretend that these fascists aren't systematically destroying America, tearing us apart, and burning everything to the ground.
  4. So do I have this right? 1. An old white man was immediately arrested after the shooting. He was let go after determining he wasn't the shooter. 2. Utah police later arrested another man. The fucking FBI Director states that suspect has been caught. 3. It was determined the second man was also not the shooter. The fucking FBI Director retracts and says shooter is still at large. 4. Crickets since then??
  5. At this point, if it ends up being a right winger they'll never find him.
  6. I've been hearing about "thoughts and prayers" for years and actually tried it out earlier today. It works! I've totally moved on, thanks.
  7. FBI is gonna catch and release right wingers until they find a transgender immigrant to pin it on.
  8. Um, I made a comment earlier that I am deeply ashamed of. If I have hurt anyone out there, I can't tell you how much I say from the bottom of my heart, I'm so very, very sorry. I pride myself and think of myself as a man of faith—as there's a drive into deep left field by Castellanos, it will be a home run, and so that'll make it a 4–0 ballgame.
  9. Did a quick rewatch of the SJSU game and it triggered my reaction from Saturday: Why the fuck did we run a punt block mid-1st quarter? I'm assuming Sark blessed that decision? Just get the fucking ball back. Offense had two poor drives and desperately needs as many reps as possible. We could have scored a special teams TD there and I'd still be pissed. Is this coaching staff still hungover from the Ohio State games as well? For fuck's sake.
  10. Eva would be deported if she ran against the GOP.
  11. Celebrity won't work either. The second they say or do anything considered "liberal", they are finished.
  12. They're not allowed to show All-22 film?
  13. I am "Team OTF". I literally support them monthly. But Hermanator is right. If Gerry Hamilton isn't involved, it's hard to for me to be interested in much of OTF's content right now.
  14. It's my bad, but I meant that Arch is a national story every week and analysts around the country are critiquing his every move. We Texas fans do this with all of our QBs, yes.
  15. Ok, man. It's not all on Arch for things to click. The O-line and running game need to improve. WRs need to make plays. Arch clearly needs to improve. Stop with the fucking killer penalties. There is no rhythm on offense right now, they need to get going. But thanks for the Max Browne story.
  16. That's one way to look at it. The other is Livingstone was WIDE open, and by underthrowing a bit it ensures that it's caught. If that pass is thrown with more aggression, there's a chance it falls incomplete. Do we think that good QBs that have great games are just throwing dots everywhere? That's not how it works. We are just Zaprudering everything with Arch and no other QB gets the same treatment.
  17. Just saw the short post-game interview where Arch said he wasn't very good and called his performance sloppy twice. With all the spotlight and criticism, he's not acting defensive. That's a GREAT sign IMO. He's feeling the pressure, but he's not running away from it. Just need to things to click. It's coming.
  18. As I've said before, I have more respect for MAGA diehards than people like the DT safe space Trump voters that continue to quietly support him and conveniently disappear when the shit hits the fan. The latter deserve more blame for this country falling apart, as moral cowardice is way worse than plain stupidity.
  19. Aaron Blake is a Senior political reporter for CNN and used work at The Washington Post. Shame on these braindead journalists.
