  1. Found another article stating Brooks went to middle school in Cedar Rapids, so looks like he's an Iowa boy.
  2. Per 247: 2024: Transferred from Cedar Rapids (Iowa) Kennedy to Loganville (Ga.) Grayson ahead of his senior season. 2023: Moved back to Cedar Rapids (Iowa) Kennedy for junior season. 2022: Played snaps at both offensive tackle spots as a sophomore at Alpharetta (Ga.) St. Francis. 2021: Gained varsity experience as a freshman at Cedar Rapids (Iowa) Kennedy.
  3. Strong finish tonight. We need the good versions of FVV and Brooks offensively in the playoffs. When they're off, it's just brick city. Drives me crazy.
  4. Elon married a woman (Grimes) known for an androgynous aesthetic/style. He himself has transitioned into a butch lesbian Nazi look. The projection is one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen.
  5. We are on the same page. I'm not expecting him to make an impact this year, just love stacking OL talent.
  6. Fair enough. But Gerry Hamilton has been talking him up all offseason, and if we hit on a guy out of Grayson HS that could pay off big time.
  7. Lots of freedom flowers starting to bloom from the White House couch crevices.
  8. Highly gruntled about the Nick Brooks hype.
  9. 0-0 with over 12 minutes left in the 1st quarter as 43.5 point favorites? Devastating!
  10. "You want get paid well, live in Austin, and catch passes from Arch Manning?" is a pretty compelling pitch to any TE or WR.
  11. Exactly! Arch will make plenty of mistakes. We saw the rawest version of him vs. ULM and he was sloppy. The great news is - even though Miss St. sucked - he played fantastic the following week against them. Great throws and decision making. He learns and improves. I admit that my confidence in this year's offense is because I think Quinn generally sucked. So many limitations with him at QB. I mean, how many off-schedule explosive plays did he make in 3 years at Texas? Not many. Probably a very low percentage compared to most QBs if there was a stat for it. Sark had to scheme so many one read throws for him too. We haven't had many QB passing phenoms at Texas, so I think it's hard for some of our fans to imagine what is possible. Assuming the OL can be at least average, we will be lighting up the scoreboard. If I'm wrong and Arch & the offense struggle, I'll be here to eat crow.
  12. Good for Silas. Really rooting for him. Hopefully he gets lots of UDFA offers and finds the right team that will give him a real chance.
  13. We've played 30 games including 4 playoff matchups in the last 2 years. We just signed the #1 recruiting class in the country and like 90% of them are already on campus and practicing. Every team in the country would trade for our starting QB. I don't believe there is another program better positioned heading into 2025.
  14. Bullshit reasoning. Almost every competitive program is going through major changes now that we have NIL and the portal. We are loaded on both sides of the ball and our starting QB would have gone #1 in next month's NFL draft. Championship or bust for the next 2 years minimum.
  15. Yeah, people need to start assuming that any graphic that looks like something from Facebook is fake until further notice.
  16. Yes, I don't think Ewers was very good. Feel much better about our offense moving forward.
