  1. People willing to change their positions for the betterment of Americans is good, actually.
  2. I feel fairly confident in saying this: At this very moment less than 4 months from Election Day, Biden's age/condition is a bigger concern to the general electorate than anything regarding Trump. It's fresher in people's minds and hasn't been beat to a bloody pulp for the last 8 years. It's not fair, but I think it's where we're at. And time isn't on Biden's side. What the fuck are we gonna do about it?
  3. This is Biden's attempt to reach out to young male voters. Can't imagine it will help in any way.
  4. Can someone copy and paste the article? Behind a paywall.
  5. INT. - DRESSING ROOM AT GLOBAL LIFE FIELD We see INGRID ANDRESS, laying down and despondent on a couch. in the background we hear the roars from the crowd as the All-Star game begins. Her mother and father sit solemnly at a side table, picking at a catered veggie plate. Ingrid's agent, RICK, is sunk in a love seat as he bites his nails and scrolls through his phone. No one has uttered a word for 10 minutes. Ingrid's mom gets up from the table and musses with her hair in the mirror. She pauses. INGRID'S MOM What if we say she was drunk? CUT TO BLACK
  6. Also these dumbfuck Dems in DC need to get their shit together and start saying "Promote Kamala" instead of "Joe's got to go" in all their off the record bullshit with the media or public written statements. Provide a SOLUTION - not another question - to the party officials and voters.
  7. The real path is only with Kamala. And saying "anyone else" feels really disingenuous as you know she is the only option with so little time remaining. Nominating Kamala means: 1. The Democratic Party is being proactive, instead of depending on reactive fantasies that Trump will bury himself somehow. A sign to all Americans that the party is truly concerned for the future of this country. Trump and all of his bootlickers don't think the Dem party has the balls to do it. It will rattle hem. 2. The age issue completely gets flipped. American voters will have their blinders removed and have the chance to see the age issues and mental decline and overall ridiculousness of Trump due to the stark contrast with Kamala. 3. Reinvigorates party enthusiasm and fundraising. She can seamlessly run on the Biden administration platform. 4. Easier to convince and remind voters of the threats to women's rights when Kamala is the face of the campaign 5. Kamala getting nominated is the only chance to get Trump into another debate, and she has the ability to perform well. If Trump refused to debate her, it will hurt him with some voters. Frankly, I think he'd have to debate her. The optics would be terrible for him otherwise. And as we've all seen, optics REALLY matters to voters. EDIT: All of the above is also taking into consideration that if Biden dropped out, he would say shit like "This is a decision that I made with my family" blah blah blah. He wasn't forced out, that he realizes this is the best path to victory and best thing for our country.
  8. I'm very cynical, but I think it will still happen sometime before the DNC. Conceding the race to Trump by letting Biden stay in could create irreparable damage to the Democratic Party. If someone could articulate a real path for Biden, I'm listening. No one has done it yet.
  9. Agreed, but a legitimate trend with Trump is that he outperformed the final polls in 2016 and 2020.
  10. No, no. Mike Lee got OWNED on his Twitter poll. Ignore the other data and ignore what you see. Biden's got this.
  11. Trump was probably winning before the debate, definitely after the debate, and a little more after he got shot. There needs to be a serious momentum shift and that is impossible with Biden at the top of the ticket. He had a good press conference! Doesn't matter. Policy doesn't matter. Anti-Trump rhetoric doesn't matter. It needs to be something simple and clear for the electorate to see. And that's removing Biden and calling up Harris. It's an unprecedented move. But we live in unprecedented times. Anything less will not move the needle.
  12. It means they need to promote Kamala. We are at the Uma Thurman adrenaline shot phase of this race.
  13. Or it means that people are dumb, which is the most likely explanation. Dems need to stop expecting reason and common sense from voters to poo-poo these poll numbers. It's time to get serious and do something.
  14. Feels like most people "voting" for RFK Jr. in these polls will probably go to Trump. Wouldn't be surprised if he drops out and endorses Trump at some point.
  15. I don’t remember but yes I get burned occasionally and it pisses me off
  16. Good! But Biden's Wins, Brooklyn Defiant Dad or whatever, all the Meidas Touch and Lincoln Project people, etc....engagement farming narcissistic greedy assholes. Not as bad as the right wing accounts, but still bad.
  17. There are many worse examples but I'm gonna use this tweet to bitch about it anyways. Elon fucking Musk monetizing Twitter for users was one of the dumbest and most dangerous decisions ever made on social media, particularly when it comes to politics. Obviously the right was grifting from day 1 once Trump entered the political picture (but before Twitter monetization they had to hustle by creating actual content to make $$). Now, its become much easier for right wing nuts and even Democratic accounts have finally caught up this cycle to try to make money off engagement. Pretty much every account tx 3 putt (no personal offense intended) embeds from Twitter, comes from a Dem engagement farming account. These are #Resisters who finally could make some money, and they're taking full advantage. It's not as brazen as Trumpers, but these Dem accounts still post misleading shit, half truths and even outright lies. Engagement farming was already bad when people did it for the sugar rush they got from all the activity, but now that money can be made - and with the ability to pay for a blue check which still subconsciously makes people take their accounts seriously - it's worse than ever. Fuck Elon. End of rant.
  18. She couldn't keep her grifter act together long enough to get "these are my people" out of her mouth without a shit eating laugh
  19. Thanks for reminding me of this all timer
