  1. Thank you in advance for anyone willing to give play-by-play on here.
  2. Walz is no slouch, but I'm assuming Pete has offered some killer one liners that could be of use.
  3. Brent Venables has only seen The Godfather Part III, which he refers to as "the good one".
  4. Genuinely asking, is Ewers running Sark's offense, or has Sark now curated it to fit Quinn's strengths? We used to take a lot more downfield shots in Quinn's first year, but couldn't make enough connections. Now Sark is fully embracing play calling that supports his strengths(accuracy on intermediate/short throws, quick release, touch & anticipation). Arch has a different skillset. His eyes are downfield more, and with his bigger frame is willing to take a hit to get the ball downfield. I expect this passing offense to look different next year. He definitely needs to learn when to put more touch on the ball, like that wheel route you mentioned. And I have very little concern about his timing in the pocket, I agree it's just an experience thing.
  5. Brent Venables is only moved by art that is AI created.
  6. I check in on Ikard/Lehman and their OU game breakdowns on YouTube occasionally. Love that they are drinking the kool-aid after stealing that win vs. Auburn. Lehman spent a lot of time talking about how good OU's defense played after *checks notes*...giving up 482 yards of offense and 4 receptions over 30+ yards. They fully bought into the Sooners being elite on D after the Tennessee game, even though anyone with objective eyes saw that Heupel decided to be very conservative after halftime. Their 4-1 record allows them more time to be in denial, and hopefully that bleeds into the OU staff and football team over the next 12 days. All is fine, Sooners. Y'all got it all figured out.
  7. A&M is favored? Take Mizzou moneyline right now if you plan on betting.
  8. I'd guess the line will be something around Texas -10 by kickoff. Maybe higher.
  9. 100%. But there is no downside to actively being pro-marijuana. Last time I saw a research poll it was down to around 10% of Americans that wanted marijuana to be illegal.
  10. I'll give you the first personal example I can think of. I play in an annual golf tournament with 40 dudes that are all around 40-50 years old. Vast majority went to private school, grew up in classic conservative families, married with multiple kids, and work in O&G, attorneys, private equity, etc. Honestly I truly like all of them, but I'd guess that at least 75% are Trump voters (we don't talk politics on this trip, thankfully). Every one of them smokes weed or takes gummies. Don't think it would change many of their votes, but it's a no brainer to loudly be pro-marijuana.
  11. This is really out of touch. Do you know how many adults of all ages and all backgrounds use weed these days? Old people have really turned the corner on marijuana. Too many of them have seen themselves, or friends, or family struggle with chemo and other issues and know the benefit cannabis provides. I know that medical marijuana is legal in many places, but it needs to be readily available everywhere with zero restrictions on what type is available to a an adult who needs it. I'll never forget 15 years ago when one of my best friends called me in tears asking if she could "pay" me for some marijuana I had to help her dad while he was dying from pancreatic cancer. Of course I just gave it to her and offered to give her more anytime they needed it. He had never used it before in his life, but it ended up providing great relief during chemo. All that said, right now the most important part of legalizing marijuana is decriminalizing it. It is 100% a winning issue.
  12. This is good. Go further. Talk more about legalizing marijuana.
  13. The GOP has been working the media refs since Ronald Reagan became President. MSM has expectations of Democrats, and absolutely none for Republicans. Only one party is supposed to play by the rules. It's as simple as that. The game is rigged.
  14. Well, good for her and I appreciate the effort. But highly unlikely Von acts in good faith, and I doubt the interview would be impactful in any way. In the end this about making money for him and he knows where his bread is buttered.
  15. I know this full interview was posted earlier, but some comments about this clip. Mark Cuban is great here. He's not "triggered" or angry, he is patient and friendly with Vonn, and succinctly states his issues with Donald Trump without coming off as arrogant or mean. But just watch Theo fucking Vonn. Cuban: "Trump has ripped off a lot of people I know." Vonn: "There have been a lot alleged issues with contractors." Cuban "No, people I know have been ripped off." Tells story of co-worker having to sue Trump for not paying her $4 million. Vonn: "But how does someone benefit from behaving like that?" Cuban says this is who Trump is and all he knows. He was born rich. Vonn: "He always had good hair. Rich people always have good hair." Cuban laughs off a bad joke and total deflection. Cuban lists off Trump businesses that have ripped off hardworking Americans. He incredulously laughs at Trump's commemorative coin bullshit. Vonn: "That's gangster, bro." What a fucking joke. Cuban comes on the show in good faith, and Vonn returns the favor by having absolutely no desire to genuinely discuss any of his factual points. Vonn's instincts are to defend Trump, doubt any criticism, and call him a "gangster" with "great hair." Vonn's listeners will not take Cuban seriously if Vonn himself doesn't. Which makes these type of interviews pointless IMO. Idiocracy on full display. I now get why Kamala or Walz shouldn't entertain going on Rogan, Vonn, or any other podcast from these clowns. The fix is already in with these piece of shit Trump apologists.
  16. Some of this is on Arch, some if it is people missing their blocks and defenses blowing up the play early.
  17. Miss State was rushing 3 or 4 a lot and Arch had many clean pockets with no pressure. I'm good with him holding the ball longer in those situations to find the bigger play, and he did. Arch played really well yesterday. What the fuck is going on here?
  18. Yesterday's game is a perfect example of why everyone has an instinctual pause when Ole Miss is proclaimed a national title contender. Run up the score/stats against shitty teams then fold when you get hit in the mouth by a good defense. And the fake injuries are truly pathetic. Kiffin is entertaining and good for college football, but I'm definitely rooting against him.
  19. Blue was overrated by our fanbase heading into this season. Even before Baxter got hurt, I was surprised to see so many people think he was THE playmaker in the running back room. It seems a lot of his issues are mental. Even though he is a weapon in the passing game, he has too many drops. Obviously fumbles are a big problem. He lacks awareness of the first down sticks and goes down too easily in between the tackles. He should be a complimentary/situational back, even with us being thin at RB. Assuming all 3 backs are healthy in 2 weeks, Wisner and Gibson combined should definitely get the majority of handoffs moving forward.
  20. OH. MY. GOD.
  21. - I'm glad they benched Blue. 2 momentum killer fumbles. He's talented, but a frustrating player to watch and is not an every down back. Moving forward if Blue/Wisner/Gibson are healthy, we need to decrease Jaydon's workload. He is a weapon but not steady or dependable enough. - The weak link of our defense is DT, and MSU smartly pounded up the middle with 3 yard and a cloud of dust. The sloppy tackling was a bit worrisome, glad they faced a little adversity heading into the OU game. - Arch was fantastic. He had numerous NFL throws. My god. - Really happy for Deandre Moore. Dude is good and I was worried he'd get lost in the WR rotation and be a transfer candidate. - Would Colin Simmons be a top 10 pick this year? Holy fucking shit.
  22. Quinn is our starter. But holy shit, Arch is so fucking good. His leap from Spring Game last year to now is fucking mind blowing.
  23. Um, it's a very easy choice.
