I skipped dinner at Lucia, State Fair tomorrow, and probably a deal on last minute tickets I can't pass up to stay at home and chill out with the dogs.
I'll miss hitting up Lucia.
Believe me, a buddy and I stood at the back of the room at that birthday party and made all the jokes. No someone Photoshop Bob Stoops's or Brent Venables's head onto this picture.
I did not have this on my bingo card for today. This guy was big on the Tyler birthday party circuit when my kids were little. I'm speechless (yet I guess I might have predicted this with a then-20-something balloon artist).

Here he is at my younger son's third birthday party back in 2012.
I'm being left to my own devices; just the dogs and I this weekend. So I'm making cheddar hot guts. I've got the cheese drying out and found a cheap, select, 10 lb brisket. Point end is seasoned up and going into the sausage while the flat was cubed up and frozen for ground beef at some point.
OU Sucks!
I figured I'd watch the game at the Lambda Chi House at SMU and wait for you to show up with a shit ton of beer, some wax cups, and a CPAP after the game.
OU SUCKS!
The secret Nazi base was on an island north of Crete in the Aegean Sea. Assuming Katanga's ship left from Alexandria and had sailed for a day or more before it was boarded in the Mediterranean , probably not a ridiculous distance. Assuming it was summer, surface waters of both of those oceans would be tolerable at periscope depth. Is lashing oneself to the periscope of a Nazi sub with a bullwhip for an extended period far-fetched? Yes. Yes it is.
That guy needs to be on the bus to Dallas with this team. If he can do 13 minutes, he can do a couple of hours.
I can only imagine how triggering the Warby-Parker commercials are for him. They make me want to kick the TV screen.
Since I've seen a few references to out-of-state fried chicken at this point, I would be remiss if I didn't mention The Slogar in Crested Butte, CO. It's been a minute since I've had it, but my recollection of it is that the family-style fried chicken they serve is unmatched.
My hope and suspicion is that the end of the tailgates might mean the end of Away-Game tailgates with occasional exceptions made where there is a system in place to prevent immamac from losing his shirt (or wedding ring) on the deal.
