Gentlemen, I do declare that I have found myself a keeper, which now is in hand. And much like the article posted above about the color, "limed mahogany" would definitely fit, even though it photographs "[TV] Yellow." I really like it, and the grain pattern really shows through the finish well. Plays like . . . well, a Les Paul, albeit with a little more efforts on the bends versus a tune-a-matic bridge.
My son and some friends just drove from Austin to Breckenridge yesterday and today with a stop-over in Amarillo. Today, they took the 87/I-27 north through New Mexico into Colorado connecting to I-25 ("Ports to Plains corridor"). No issues.
Kevin Pollack is the epitome of a great, supporting actor in that role. And someone posted in another thread a great interview with him about the behind-the-scenes stories on AFGM. Definitely worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
And, to keep it on topic, here's the complimentary snippet of the Rob Reiner interview.
The Body and Shawshank are probably the two closest adaptations of any of Stephen King's works. So much was lifted from the source material. That's not to say RR didn't have a huge hand in making Stand by Me an absolute classic.

Only today, did I learn about this place and their apparently damned good fried chicken. This, despite the fact that I've lived in Tyler for nearly 24 years. I need to pay them a visit and report back for the good of mankind.
Cross-posted from the Holiday Insanity thread. Just missed a shot of Archie mounting Maeby while she bathed Gracie. Would have been a Christmas card finalist for sure.
So our lab mix likes to bathe our Schnoodle, and now every time she does, thanks to @BHMCruiser, I have to say to myself what a good mother she would be. And so I took a picture (because everyone wants to see a picture of this). But the picture I wish I'd gotten was the yellow one locking the grey one while the big grey one started humping the yellow one. That would definitely be the Christmas card this year
Caption: He would have been such a good father.
We still have a few, thankfully. And that's a capital idea. Super Mercado Monterrey is right down the street from my office and it's definitely been a minute since I've hit it up. No finer avocados in all of our fare city than the ones they sell in the warmer months.
Yeah, I'll confess I didn't stop off at a separate store to score the good stuff. Next time, for sure. I'm such a Fiesta slut when it comes to dried spices.
