  1. well, I wonder where the brainless simpleton is in Trump's DNA woodpile.
  2. These people are such fuckers. (Shows orc killing another orc)
  3. fucking inbred Illinois sweat heifers.
  4. Same throughout “The South.” “established 1954” fucking racist fucksticks.
  5. Hopefully, we'll find out soon.
  6. Former swimmer? I’d like for her to meet my team of swimmers…..
  7. Could be rough on the useful idiots, since nothing in Hebrew Scriptures was written until King Solomon built the Temple and hired scribes. Their original documents are campfire stories.
  8. So.... here's a fucked up Louisiana story..... Many years ago, I was road-tripping to Florida with a group of friends and lots of beer, merrily heading south on I-49. We arrive in the Alexandria, LA area at mid-afternoon. The interstate wasn't finished around Alexandria, so on our drive through town on the old road, we took the opportunity to pop into a convenience store for a bathroom break and to replenish the beer. Some mud-caked locals, wearing work boots and jorts (no shirts) come in, and proceeded to yell at the clerk to come show them which beer was on sale, because they couldn't read the signs..... Sooooo, we're leaving and the same locals, with beer in hand, hop into the bed of a nasty, old, rusty pickup truck, but not before one of them just unzips his jorts halfway between the door of the store and the pickup, and just starts urinating. My group all simultaneously made eye contact with each other, and silently mouthed, "WHAT THE FUCK" Louisiana exists solely for Arkansas and Mississippi to not be ranked dead last in every ranking of shitty state metrics.
  9. Just like politics, when your second point is rebutted with, "so you DARE question GOD's ability to use women in the pulpit or LGBTQ folk as clergy?" "THAT'S DIFFERNT!!!"
  10. It's funny. No one would think of trusting their physical health to a health care professional with no education, yet many of the same people would trust their spiritual health to an untrained "preacher."
  11. Seems timely in this discussion….
  12. shallow, discolored, and polluted.
  13. All this said…. my wife and I were members of an SBC church in Fort Worth when we lived there. SBC until our church allowed our many gay couples to be pictured together in our church directory like our straight couples…. The SBC promptly booted our church out. This became messy, since ANYONE on staff at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary had to be a member at an SBC church. Nearly all of those affected by this quit the seminary, or retired to stay members of our church. This church knows what ministry is. Overnight shelter for homeless, feeding homeless, advocating for tenants on the verge of eviction, both in court and legislatively, and partners with neighborhood at-risk public schools to provide meals, clothing and school supplies. The church is thriving, being the hands and feet of grace and love to so many powerless and disenfranchised in Fort Worth. There are good churches, but they go about things quietly, not begging to have the spotlight shining on them. “…for they love to pray on the street corners to be seen by men….”
  14. You were saying? https://apple.news/A9KjfvFirSd2WEpOcOuqFeg The Southern Baptist Convention on Wednesday approved a measure opposing in vitro fertilization as “dehumanizing” and asking “the government to restrain” the practice, a sign of the broadening effort by conservative evangelicals and the antiabortion movement since the fall of Roe v. Wade.
  15. “My best ‘anointing oil’….”
