  1. Just got one scheduled for tomorrow. For a single family home, primary residence.
  2. following. soaking up smarts.
  3. This. My 25 year old whirlpool dryer died five years ago. Bought cheapest Samsung on sale at Lowe's. Battleship gray, or whatever they call it, was $150 cheaper than white in same model. Probably due to it being an ass-ugly color that no one except a bougie, douche Californian would buy. Bought it. Wife expresses dissatisfaction that it didn't match the 25 year old white washer. In-laws chime in, "why didn't you buy a matching washer? These don't match." I reply, "two things: THE WASHER STILL WORKS.... and unlike @Francisco 2.0's neighborhood, in this part of Tulsa, we don't keep our appliances on the porch for passers-by to admire (or judge), so I don't care. This one washes, this one dries, who GAF what they look like." One year later, washer finally goes to appliance heaven. Bought no-frills Whirlpool front loader. This time, white was cheaper. Wife annoyed again. Both appliances are doing what I bought them to do with no complaints. The next highest ($100) Whirlpool model has the ability to turn off the "warshin's done" alarm. My cheap one does not. The alarm is louder than than an Aggie shrieking about Texas and OU joining the SEC.
  4. I'd love you barstool pool people to post a few more pics. I'd love a pool with a shaded barstool area where I could sit in the water, drink heavily and watch football on a tv located on the dry side of the bar. Thanks!
  5. I have the Ryobi 40v mower, and it's great. I have a corner lot, a 30 minute mow, and can mow about 1 time and halfway through a second on one charge. My bag capacity is the same as my old Honda 6.5hp GP mower.
  6. I have a Ryobi 18V cordless now for two seasons. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Brushless-15-in-Cordless-Attachment-Capable-String-Trimmer-with-4-0-Ah-Battery-and-Charger-P20110/311389023 This year, under the wise guidance of @Francisco 2.0, I replaced the factory head with this $20 replacement head. It's fantastic and tears through everything just as fast as my old Toro gas trimmer. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Shakespeare-Push-N-Load-Trim-Head/3381658
  7. Tulsa, Oklahoma. childhood home of no one in particular.
  8. How do you keep outdoor sink/plumbing from freezing in the winter?
  9. That's pretty high-tone for Starkville. Especially the double decker grill.
  10. This thread. Just when I had run out of fuel for nightmares. When we moved into our newly built home in 2011, we had tons of black widows in the back yard, most on a 60' stretch of landscape wall made of large rocks. I only had a propane torch the first night. flashlight, and torch killed 20 of them in the rock wall in our backyard in the first night. Regular patrols netted 30 or so more during the next few weeks. Oddly, a delightful little pop and flash when the little bitches ignite.
  11. I hate to hear this. Wishing you a speedy and full recovery.
  12. screens are a College Station thing. 😀
  13. Follow-up. Bugs. Recommendations? Citronella? Zappers? Fans?
  14. Starting from a blank slate, have room and flexibility. I do have a natural gas drop on the existing patio which can easily be used. definitely want a fireplace, grill and flattop. Gas or wood? What things do I need to consider? Thanks in advance.
  15. Sociologists and anthropologists would point out both East TX and SE OK have a strong association with the DS. Of course, there's a lot of the Southwest and Plains in both states too.
