  1. Walsh is great underwater. Huske just was a beast.
  2. Damn. Huske and Walsh 1-2. Amazing race. Huske ran Walsh down.
  3. Foster just got out touched at the end. He definitely could not see Lane 2 from Lane 6.
  4. Marchand is honestly very, very good at all four strokes. That was a great underwater.
  5. Foster finishes 3rd. Marchand sets the Olympic record, but was just out of range of his own WR.
  6. No one is going to touch Marchand. What a great swim so far.
  7. 400 IM to go. Leon Marchand is the hometown hero. Carson Foster, a Longhorn, is in lane 6 and sitting in 3rd.
  8. The GB/Australia match is pretty fucking good. I love watching this stuff. I played in my last 7's tounament in 2001, and I was lucky enough to play with some women that had made the Women's Eagles, but those women, as good as they were, hold nothing to the ladies we are seeing today. Glad to see this in the Olympics.
  9. Not mine, but something in response to all the idiots bitching about the opening ceremonies.
  10. I am actually impressed with the NBC/Peacock set up. I like that you can watch things replayed, multiview, and all the medal moments.
  11. The US men were making dumb mistakes this morning. I turned it off with Italy ahead 10-4.
  12. That try for France by No. 1 was a thing of beauty.
  13. Dates are starting to come together. Probably flying out on May 7 to 9. Still planning the first week to 10 days of the trip. Then will be at the Imola race May 16-18. Then Venice May 19 to 26 (Fly back on the 26). Staying at the St. Regis in Venice. Have asked for an upgrade to a canal view, terrace suite, so we shall see.
  14. I am a fan of the US women’s 7s squad.
  15. 7s rugby is a hell of a lot of fun to watch and to play.
  16. Medals ceremony for the men is outstanding. I might have teared up a bit.
  17. Chalmers is very good. Armstrong in leg 3 was amazing for the USA.
  18. No. 800 and 1500 are her key events.
