  1. Including Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz (well, the actor who played him at least).
  2. I am at the point where I hope that EVERY single person that continues to vote GOP has something horrific happen to them or a loved one due to lack of reproductive care so they know the pain and suffering they are putting on others due to their ignorance, misogyny, selfishness, or hatefulness. I have tried to stay above this, but fuck it. And fuck you too.
  3. Good to know. I have always skipped over IcelandAir becuase no lay flat, and why break up what is already a short flight from NYC. However, if I am just popping over for a weekend (and it isn't work related), I might have to check it out. Glad to hear about this.
  4. Was supposed to attend a Vogue party at the Met today for a private viewing of the Sleeping Beauty Costume Institute exhibit. Instead, didn't get out of work until almost 5:30, so made it into the hood at about 5:45. Not enough time to change into cocktail attire and make it to 82nd and 5th for 6:30 PM. So irritating. Will try and go during early AM member hours on Saturday (or Sunday).
  5. Last week, I saw Trump returning from court. They blocked 57th street to allow it. Thankfully, I was just dropping off dry cleaning, so was just across the street from my house. Also, flipped off Trump tower on my way to work this AM. Will be glad when this shitstain is gone from the mortal coil.
  6. A rainy Sunday in the city. Decided to head down to Chinatown for Dim Sum at Mee Sum Cafe followed by a foot massage.
  7. Ok, long weekend in Oxford for the race. I have never been to Oxford. Also, just fully realized that on my middle trip back from London, Lewis Hamilton was in seat 1K right in front of me. I confirmed it when I saw his tattoos from pirctures at the Met Gala. I thought on the flight it might be him, but I wasn't stealthy enough to get a photo to confirm. But I remember his tatoos on his arms and hands, and yep, that was him. LOL.
  8. Watching this now. It is really funny.
  9. Following. Japan is on the list.
  10. The Tom Brady Roast had its moments. This was one that absolutely was hilarious. Also, this Tony Hinchcliffe piece about Sam Jay....holy shit. I saw that Jimmy Carr was in the audience. They really should have had him come on because he is absolutely brutal. Would have LOVED to see his take on Tom Brady.
  11. The sucking off of Soto isn’t any better now than it was in 2019.
  12. This whole Amazon Prime bullshit is irritatating. I’m at PJ Clark’s (the OG), and can’t watch the game on the big screen. Watching on my phone. Sigh.
  13. Not going to lie, I went to Astros games when they were really shitty, and the body language of this team last night was worse than those shitty teams. I hate to say lack of hustle, but yeah, they were just going through the motions.
  14. I couldn't stomach that. Heading home. Failure in all aspects.
  15. This team is just completely out of it.
  16. So, finally figured out the rest of the year. In July, back to the UK for work (new joiner on my team), and then we are hitting up Silverstone for the F1 race. We are either going to stay 3 nights in Oxford or Warwick. Just waiting on my friends to decide on place, then we will book (tickets already in hand). September, during UN week, we are most likely having an all hands accounting meeting in London (too expensive in NYC, and easier for colleagues in South Africa and Singapore to get to London vs. New York). After that, I am planning on jumping on a plane to Naples. I have been to Naples before, but the last time I was there, we might have partied a bit too much, and definitely were too hung over to make it out to Pompeii. So that being said, my plan is to enjoy baths, visit Pompeii and Herculunaem, eat lunch here (Lo Scoglio), and other stuff I have yet to even think of. Most likely won't go to Capri or the Amalfi Coast as I have done that before, and I want to return to both when I have more time to spend. After 5 nights in Naples (the first, I arrive late from London so that is just a wasted night), I am popping up to Rome to catch a flight to Madrid. Then I will train to Cordoba. The plan is to spend 3 nights in Cordoba exploring. I might have dinner at Noor, which just got its third Michelin star, but we shall see. I have been wanting to go to Cordoba for years, so I am super excited about this. Then I am headed to Estepona for the next 5 nights. I have a house that opens right onto the beach, which is awesome. It is about a 30 minute walk into the historic city center, but I can also rent a bike, and then it is only about 5-10 minutes, which is the plan. By doing this in early October, things will be less crowded, but the weather should still be very nice. Ultimately, my plan is 7 days of exploring and history followed by 5 days of relaxation. AirBnBs are already booked, and should dates change, they are fully refundable. Too early to book flights yet, but that is usually when I head to London in Q3, but I alreay have three flights I need to have reimbursed at the minute, so want to hold off booking this one until I finish up my expnese reports. LOL.
