This. He can't help himself.

But was he an innocent person? He was a virulent Trump supporter. That pretty much means that at best, you are selfish and stupid, and at worst, you are a raging piece of shit human being. Like attracts like. To be clear, they are both absolutely fucking stupid and really horrible people. Frank Drebin is the poster formerly known as Johnny Sack, a known racist and misogynist. Again, like calls to like, and it is no shock that these folks support Trump.

Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire (AMC, October)
PenelopeWitherspoon replied to atomheartbevo's topic in Movies and TV
I struggle with shows that go week to week, so I finally came back and finished season 1. Honestly, the casting was fantastic. I even like that they moved it forward to the 20's, 30's 40's vs. the late 1800's from the books. Sam Reid as Lestat. Yeah, that was inspired casting right there. I saw that season 2 is complete as well, so that will be a good thing to watch over the next week. -

After dinner, we headed to Bar Termini. We had excellent cocktails. This might be one of my favorite bars in London. -

Thursday, July 4th, I took my team to a dim sum lunch. After the long lunch, we headed to the Black Dog for more drinks, then it was to Brixton for Kurisu Omakase, what had been touted as one of London's best sushi restaurants. They have 8 seats, and it was absolutely outstanding. One of the best sushi experiences I've had in a long time. -
But it wouldn’t have been. It wouldn’t have even cracked the top 10. You don’t know history very well, do you.

It’s Georgian. Khinkali are Georgian dumplings with a unique twisted shape. The food was outstanding. This is one I’ll go back to for sure. -
You were always voting for Trump. You are who you’ve always been.

All in all, two excellent weekends in Paris. I was recently back in London for work. Sunday dinner at the Devonshire followed by drinks at the St. James bar. Our favorite bartender Mario is now at Bar Termini, but they have a new excellent bartender, so worth a stop. -

Saturday morning was coffee at Cafe de la Paix then a jaunt back over to the Marais and Place des Vosges. Stopped in at Babka Zana and did some shopping. Then had lunch at Oktobre, which I highly recommend. After lunch, wandered around the 6th a bit, then back to pick up my personalized purchases at Officine Universele Buly. -

After getting to my room and completely unpacking, I took advantage of the steam room and got ready to head out. I went and bought wine at E Dehillerin and then had dinner at Jeanne-Aimee. -

I was back in Paris for another weekend in April. I stayed again at Le Roch and was upgraded to a Hammam Suite with a terrace. Of course, it rained most the weekend, so the terrace got no use, but the steam room did. I had to wait a bit for my room to be ready so I wandered in the neighborhood, got a coffee at La Coupe d'Or then had a sushi lunch at the popular Japanese place across from the hotel, Foujita. -
