  1. Fortunately she has someone on her team that can give her advice on dealing with adolescent bullies.
  2. Last derail. Not sure what u are you trying to convince me on. Kenny Roberts was a childhood hero of mine. My first road bike was a very scary ‘84 Yamaha RD 350LC. Bro owned a Yamaha dealership in Hot Springs and we rode all over The Ouachitas and Ozarks. Loved the woods so raced Enduro and Cross Country for years before racing mountain bikes. I think Moto GP is by far the most exciting road racing for spectators. Just saying Vélodrome track racing is cool and fun too and like everything else the more you know about it the more interesting it is.
  3. Gonna have a hard time fitting 100k in Brick Breeden Fieldhouse in Bozeman.
  4. You can ride most any decent bike on a Vélodrome. I’ve ridden a dual purpose motorcycle used for motor pacing and the Keirin race on our Vélodrome. I think it was a KTM. Also rode a pacing e-bike at Boulder County Vélodrome. Our track was 250m with 44deg banking. That’s steep as fuck. I think the steepest NASCAR courses are around 30deg.
  5. Sam Watson of Southlake was edged out in speed climbing semi finals. Raced for the Bronze and set a new world record, besting the world record he set in the prelims.
  6. Much more fun to watch in person. And riding on a Vélodrome track is a blast.
  7. I’ve been against adding anything decided solely by judges for a long time.

  11. “The group formed after the alternative country rock act Uncle Tupelo broke up due to tensions between Farrar and bandmate Jeff Tweedy. After Uncle Tupelo split, Tweedy formed the alternative rock act Wilco, while Farrar decided to form another act. While forming Son Volt, Farrar met Jim and Dave Boquist during the final Uncle Tupelo tour and teamed up with former Uncle Tupelo drummer Mike Heidorn to create the band. The group performed and recorded in the Minneapolis area in late 1994 and performed its first concert at the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis on June 16, 1995. While half of the band was rooted in the Minneapolis area, Farrar and Heidorn lived in the St. Louis area, and the band used both cities as bases for its operations during the first couple of years” Wiki
  12. Minnesota and music. There was a time in the 90s when my playlist was full of artists from there. Prince The Jayhawks The Gear Daddies Husker Du/Sugar Soul Asylum Son Volt Replacements
  13. This newsletter has good info about demographic and voting trends in Collin/Denton and other big Tx counties. “Like much of Texas, Collin County is only getting bluer with time. Collin County only needs to secure three higher points this year than they did in 2020 to flip. Considering every presidential election (except for 2012), they’ve gained more than three points (over eight in 2020), it’s easy to see their path to victory. Moreover, in 2020, it had one of the highest voter turnout rates in Texas, at 75.67%.” https://www.lonestarleft.com/p/how-important-is-collin-county-in
