Texas Rangers 2025: Pitching has been fire. Bats not so much.
Hell yeah. Y’all remember that time a couple idiots showed up and wanted a guy with a 2.83 era pulled when he gave up a dinger and a couple base hits over 7 innings? Wonder who we should have run out there in his place?

Covid/Influenza/Black Death. 2024 and beyond
Read what you just wrote to a total stranger on the internet trying to engage in legitimate, honest, adult discussion and then ask yourself why anyone would want to engage in serious debate on any topic let alone take what you have to say seriously. The lack of respect at the basic human level is wild to me, and a fundamental problem with our society. If I met you in real life, you wouldn’t dare say these things to my face, I promise you that. I’m not threatening you in any way; I promise me beating you to silly isn’t worth my livelihood so don’t misinterpret what I’m saying. What I’m saying is if we were having this discussion face to face, I highly doubt you would say these things in this way. I conduct myself on here exactly the same as if I were speaking to someone face to face. Digest that for a minute before you respond.

Fort Worth is exploding
I would have sworn it had struggled, so I looked. Those places have not been in business since 2018-2019; most of them opened in 2017. Only two spots have came and went down there. I guess I am confusing them with the 7th area you mentioned above and the Sundance area.

Fort Worth is exploding
Pretty sure almost every restaurant over there has turned over at least once since it all opened with the exception of Press Cafe and City Works. And I’m not sure how much longer City Works will be around if the last time I was in there was any indication

Mahle looked good yesterday in limited action. I would assume one more outing with RR before they decide to bring him back to Arlington. Sborz officially done for the year

2025 Weight Loss/Exercise Thread
I try not to give too much unsolicited advice in here, just suggestions and ideas. That being said, if a personal trainer is telling you to remove an entire macronutrient from your diet without a legitimate medical reason why, you should run the other direction as fast as possible.

Not even remotely close to good advice.

Who's been covid vaxxed? Stand up and be counted.
I worked 9 years in one of the best pediatric ER’s in the world. The entire hospital would increase staffing by 50% or more via contract nurses and paramedics from mid October to the first of May due to the surge in flu/rsv/bronchiolitis. I also worked on our transport team. We went to rural hospitals and brought sick kiddos back to ours. One year we had more flights in a 3-month stretch from November to January than the entire rest of the year combined. So Tldr; I’d get it in mid September if I had the chance

Flu “season” starts mid to late October. I’d probably get the vaccine before then.
