  1. I think Lalo is dead in BB. Maybe not when Saul is kidnapped by Walt and Jesse. But sometime later, off-screen, and we never hear of it. Because of Gus's final speech to Hector: "Hello, Hector. All of them, Hector. Don Eladio. Don Paco. Cesar. Renaldo. Artuno. Cisco and Luis.Escalara. All dead. As is your grandson, Joaquin. Do you know who killed Joaquin? Would you like to see? This young man. Do you remember him? That young man shot Joaquin to death while I made my escape. I believe you have met him before. It was just you and Joaquin. He was the only family you had left. Now the Salamanca name dies with you. Will you look at me now? Look at me, Hector. Look at me."
  2. Great doc, lots of good in the studio footage.
  3. Will we be able to have these shirts altered professionally?
  4. My favorite scene is when he steals the money from the hotel. Cash register opens up, nothing, then just a mad scramble to grab all the cash. Then grabs the cowboy hat, bank robber look each way, then runs off. Then the topper, "Clark, don't you wanna look at the Grand Canyon". Coupla quick head bobs, "great, let's go". No funny lines, just slapstick.
  5. Citizens Auxiliary Police SubCommander Buck Gibner, unknown, Commander Jay Santos, SubCommander Sal Gleason, Maj. Elvis Newton
  6. But doesn't he have to be in camera view to hit it with the laser? From Mike testing it, it only took a few seconds, but still, with the 4 or so cameras he took out, seems like the guards would have spotted him at least once, unless they were slacking off, which won't make Mike happy.
  7. I thought for a minute that after he finished his phone call, and the shot lingered on his full ashtray of butts, and then he stopped on the stairs, that he was going to go join the volleyball game and then have a heart attack. That would have been too cliche though.
  8. For somebody who's such a badmofo, he sure whines like a scaredy-cat little bitch. Go find another team to "cheer" for, pussy.
  9. yes. Not every year, but most years I was there we would. You can see it in this video, the half that started pre-game on the home side had already come in and was on the sidelines, this starts with the other half marching in.
  10. This. My last year in LHB, I sat through 4 losses in a row to those cocksuckers, AND a fucking miserable 15-15 tie in a monsoon in 1984. I literally threw up when Johnny Walker made that catch (drinking before the game may have had something to do with that too). Close 2nd is 1991 (I think), only ou game I got to go to with my brother, we were right in the end zone when Bubba Jacques scooped up that fumble and ran it straight toward us. Gotta beer thrown in my car window by some dumb okie that I almost ran over for standing in the middle of the goddam road going into the Cotton Bowl. Good times...
  11. Exactly, to me this thread is, the minute they start singing, you know exactly who it is, whether they are "iconic" of not. To wit: Waylon Mick Jagger Prince Cher Bon Scott Brian Johnson David Lee Roth
  12. Yeah, heard that on the way home from work, dammit. My favorite era of the Airplane/Starship... RIP.
  13. Definitely. Since we're going off-topic with band nerd stuff, I heard that the new band director had done away with Script Texas, feels it's too "boring". Big mistake, yeah, it's just follow the leader, but I can guarantee it's the most photographed set the band ever does, fans love it. Double script is even better. And since we're in old-man yelling at clouds, can the band can that shitty Texas Fight and hold until right before the snap bullshit? I've hated hearing that for years, that's high school bush league, blowU and tceh and rapelor do that shit, we don't need to.
  14. We used to play the hell out of The Yellow Rose of Texas as well when I was in LHB (84-88). Personally I'd love to bring back Victory, old school like Grandioso, have the whole stadium spelling out Victory, would be cool.
  15. That is true. I have a feeling that with the fake IDs, money in the safe, etc., Nacho is going to be using Saul's services at some point. Maybe the vacuum salesman as well. and off topic, but I went to go watch that scene on youtube, and the "next up" was the train robbery, goddam, BB was so good.
  16. Pos rep just for taking a bullet and listening to that shit. Also boobies.
  17. The fact that Saul blames whatever crime he thinks he's about to die for on Ignacio, and then assumes that Walt and Jesse are Lalo's guys, seems to me that Nacho will definitely be on the wrong side of the Salamancas at some point. It would also indicate that Nacho is still alive at that point.
  18. One guy's sittin, one guy's standin', and the third guy is sayin' "whaddya want from me?"
