  1. right, and "viewers can choose between several audio options over the next 11 weeks, including the Fox pairing of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, announcers from the U.K., a Spanish broadcast or Storm and Kremer." I'd go for the Brits myself.
  2. Caught, according to the AASpaceman... Cody Wilson, the Austin man behind 3D-printed guns who has been accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl, has been arrested in Taiwan, according to media outlet Taiwan News. The publication reported that a real estate agent alerted police in the Taiwanese capital of Taipei that Wilson had signed a six-month lease for a studio after seeing news reports that the 30-year-old was wanted for sexual assault in Texas.
  3. Hildabeast and surly livin' rent free in old mofo's addled brain. 'Sup douchebag?
  4. Not sure how to embed, but similar to the series they did on Gus Fring's tips for being a good employee, now we get Mike's security tips. https://www.amc.com/shows/better-call-saul-employee-training/season-2/episode-01-employee-accountability
  5. Obviously these guys (head German for sure) have done these kinds of jobs before, do the work, shut your mouth, get paid, leave and never mention it to anyone. I do have a feeling that Kai is going to get a little too drunk/mouthy at some point and he will not be making it back home.
  6. Goddam edit clock. To add to that, my wife and I binged BCS this summer because she had never seen it and I wanted her to watch it. There were was definitely language in the Netflix version that was censored when it was originally broadcast.
  7. I only watched Breaking Bad on Netflix (never got into it originally, binged it last summer), and there was a lot of language/nudity that was probably blurred out or "silenced" when it was on AMC. I know the scene with Jesse at the strip club in one of the first seasons had a ton of boobage in it, that I am sure was cut out when it was on cable.
  8. That's actually AKHorn(something) who's doing some nice subtle trolling over there, going right over mofo's head.
  9. Enough with the goddamn Ed Helms cell phone commercial already.
  10. No context, just a little kiddie singalong. I'll just say, the bear was bigger, and ol' Daniel ended up in a tree.
  11. Oh, and there was a certain variation to the "Daniel Boone was a man" song" that may have been a tad racist...
  12. Yeah, some nice subtle shade being thrown over there, of course none of the other bumfucks get it.
  13. Heard all the ones brisket mentioned. Heard brazil nuts called n-toes. These here were n-titties...
  14. Slightly off topic, but I grabbed a bunch of CDs this morning (I know, right?) to listen to at work, happened to include 2 CDs worth of 1977 demos (the Complete Zero demos, fyi). Incredible, basically has songs from every VH album from I to 1984 (and even the "new" one that came out a few years ago), it's crazy how many musical ideas Eddie already had before they even recorded their first album. It's a virtual "name that tune", lots of songs have different lyrics, then stuff like one tune has is basically Mean Streets, but has the end of Hot for Teacher tacked onto it. Another is House of Pain, but has the instrumental breakdown from the middle of Mean Streets stuck into it. Supposedly Gene Simmons is going to release these at some point (I thought I heard that a couple of months ago...). Would be nice to get a sonic upgrade, but these'll do for now.
  15. Damn damn damn. TCM better have a damn Burt marathon sometime soon. This probably won't make it, not a huge hit, but one of my favorites, it still cracks me up. Appropriately, The End.
  16. There was one guy in that "phone selling" montage that looked a lot like Skinny Pete. And I was surprised Jimmy got rolled so easily by those kids, I kept expecting the bikers to circle back and whip their asses.
  17. OK a little tldr here... I've been on a kick lately, converting all our cassettes to digital and getting rid of the tapes/clutter. My wife is the "new" country fan (unlike "old" country, which is me), so I've been transferring all her tapes first just to get them out of the way. (Not just country btw, sitting through 3 Bryan Adams tapes and Miami Sound Machine will make just about anybodyslit their writsts...). Skipping the whole cosmopolitan, urbanization phase (which was mainly older artists trying to stay relevant, Ray Price, Oak Ridge Boys, etc...), the mid to late 80's was actually a pretty decent period, a lot of new traditionalists like Randy Travis, Dwight Yoakam, Marty Stuart, k.d. lang, Lyle Lovett, Clint Black. Ricky Skaggs, Patty Loveless, Suzy Bogguss, Hal Ketchum. Some of them may have pushed the boundaries, but in a good way (jazz, punk even a little, but it was pure). Even Garth's first (technically 2nd) album was pretty neo-trad. But going through all my wife's tapes, it's pretty obvious to me when the shift occurred. Musically, 2 songs I think turned "country" music toward where it is now - "The Thunder Rolls" and Shania's "Any Man of Mine", 2 horrible rock songs masquerading as country. Lyrically, it seems like in the mid late 80's, country music began softening, less getting drunk or getting divorced, more I got a good woman, working on a family, lots of "Amen"s and God start popping up in lyrics. Again with Garth, though, I think it was "Friends in Low Places". That set the bar, let's just party and have a good time. Then you had Rodeo, American Honky-Tonk Bar Assoc, Ain't Goin Down till the Sun Comes Up and all that other bullshit, and it's off to the races. That's about the time I was done with country. I'll go see the Derailers or Dale Watson if I need a live fix, otherwise it's just vinyl and CDs for me. Couldn't tell you a thing about anybody nowadays, well, except this douche. He played at our annual company party in February, the only way he got people on the floor was when he did an Ac/DC cover, I assume he's the epitome of all the modern bullshit. Chas.... Christ.
