  1. I hate Mack’s guts but I would take him back in a heartbeat at this point.
  2. This game makes last week’s game look like Chiefs vs 49ers by comparison. Indescribably ugly.
  3. Sterns must be hurt again. Can’t ever stay healthy.
  4. Are these the two worst teams to play in this game this millennium?
  5. lol Rattler had to have at least one open receiver on his left side on the play.
  6. How many games does Herman need to win to keep his job - six? Is he untouchable given the financial volatility?
  7. Glasnow hasn't been as effective this season as last year. You can certainly argue that Glasnow is likely to be the more effective pitcher over the rest of his career, but Framber has clearly been better this season.
  8. People talk a lot about Rays pitching, but Framber Valdez imo is the best pitcher that will take the mound in the ALCS and a healthy Greinke would be the second best.
  9. He was pissed because he didn’t get the ball in the biggest game of his career when he was ready and willing to slam the door on the Nats. I was pissed too.
  10. I kinda feel bad for the Yankees. They’ve had some really great teams over the past four years with nary a WS appearance to show for it.
  11. Nothing about your posting history indicates that you ever have or ever will do the research.
  12. I like pitching Glasnow. Go balls out.
  13. Padres pitching staff is just too trash to beat a team like the Dodgers. Hopefully the Braves at least give them a scare.
  14. The Nationals were 27-33 sixty games into last season.
  15. I think the correct move is to step on their throats and close out the game with Javier yesterday. Coming into the seventh inning our win probability for the game was likely north of 80%, and with it being an elimination game, you need to take advantage of the opportunity that is presented and do everything in your power to win that game and end the series as extending it will put us at a disadvantage whether we pitch Javier or not yesterday. One of the primary jobs of the manager is to use your best pitchers in the most important innings, and it's unlikely the innings Javier pitches today will be more critical than the 7th-9th were yesterday.
  16. I can still remember back in 2018 when everyone would make excuses for Herman “playing down” to his competition as being some tactic used to save Ehlinger or some other horseshit. The fact of the matter is that his teams simply aren’t very good. He doesn’t “play down” but instead “plays up” or at least has gotten lucky in a handful of big games to earn him his reputation. The guy really hasn’t done a damn thing his entire career to warrant the expectation that he could return us to the salad days of the naughts.
  17. Lmao. Sam was one of the highest graded and most valuable QBs in CFB last season. He’s far from perfect - this is college after all - but the offense’s struggles are almost entirely on the coaching staff. This offense was near elite last season and seems to, it anything, to have taken a step back this season.
  18. Herman had an extremely thin resume when he was hired here. Being an OC under Urban tells you pretty much nothing about what he can offer as a HC and his brief tenure at UH wasn't any more distinguished than Sumlin's. Indeed, Sumlin's final team at UH was much better than either of Tom's. He had a load of hype though.
  19. Just wait till next July when, after going 6-4 this season, the majority on this board expect Card to be orders of magnitude better than a senior Sam and for us contend for the playoff.
  20. I thought for sure TCU’s inability to convert all of their 60-80 yard drives into TDs would cost them the game and we would yet again eke out a win. Tom got burned this time though.
