  1. Is it negative recruiting to point out something that is pretty much self-evident?
  2. That last video of Obama...he articulates the befuddlement and frustration perfectly in words and tone. Why are we accepting the unacceptable? I'm sort of wordless right now. Thanks, Obama.
  3. In the live version, a great roaring cheer rises with this line. Damn!
  4. I don't want to be that guy, but I'm guessing the coaches can figure this out.
  5. Our toxins penetrate all. Sure, you can run. Resistance is futile.
  6. Yep. tu is no doubt responsible for starting the investigations. The whorns' universal control of mass media and what's left of the NCAA will be Georgia's final undoing. You see, tu doesn't like an equal playing field. They own the refs, too. They're toxic. They benadrylled the sleeping giant that is Texas A&M University home of the Fighting Texas Aggies from Texas. Oh, why doesn't anybody see?
  7. I'm your daddy. Yes, sir. You are. Please look at somebody else, now.
  8. As the amendment doesn't make reference to race, we could enslave the whole Caucasion population of Oklahoma. They don't know how to do anything, but it would be fun ordering them around. I guess we could put them through intensive training on washing toilets and showers. A good number would likely catch on.
  9. I wonder if Olin was pondering the accompanying picture when he thought about stress. Same fucking suit from his intro to the job. I suppose his confidence is inspiring. But, Olin, hit us with a snappy opening! Imagine the thought that went into that. Hmmmm, inevitable. And the use of elipses...magnifique. Set the scene, Olin my man. In a room full Aggies, one doesn't really know how this sorta tired Dad joke is going to go. Normal people would give it a friendly polite laugh. You can guess there would be an uncomfortable silence with Aggies. What would follow? If you're a slob sporting a suit adorned by a button missile with the safety off, you better bring the yuks. Elko knows his audience. They're the ones who struggle with Blue Collar comedy. But Olin sees deeper than a Dad joke. You see, Elko was serious: Ummmm, then he was serious about the national importance of the Aggie-MSU game? What about the hilarious feigned confusion? Thank goodness Olin is here to guide us. He starts with the sage words of Elko. Imagine the TD club leaning forward like Aristotle observing Plato. 1 I didn't quite get that, Mike, can you elaborate? 2 Ah, now I get it. Sorry to be so slow. 3 Lost me again. Elko returns to the subject of focusing on what's in front of as interpreted by Mr. Olin Buchanan: Words of wisdom, Elk Baby, words of wisdom. So, the deal is to focus and concentrate on what's directly in front of you. You have to concentrate hard because your nose is to a grindstone and it's hard to see when you're doing that! Or maybe the grindstone is MSU. But then they would be grinding you which is a tradition in the SEC. Elko is too deep for me. It's quite a slog of cliches after those opening cliches. Let's see if Olin can save the exercise by referring to his opening gambit in his valedictory sentence.
  10. I guess the Six Inches is part of the "messaging" William is so enthused about.
  11. Objection! Some people have micropeni and can engage in critical thinking!
  12. I know! Let's call up Penn State and Notre Dame and Missouri Miami and see if they'll stand in for Florida, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt. If we drummed those asses, they'd say that was proof our schedule was weak. Did they say this when Alabama was crushing just about everybody? No. They're sportscasters too dull to come up with their own ideas so they just parrot what they hear. I doubt it's anti-Texas bias. They're just stupid. ETA: It is a weird year in CFB. It's hard to tell how good anybody is even this late in the season. We probably deserve to be #1, but I'd be fine anywhere in the top 4. As far as quality wins, the sports idiots can only hold one thought in their minds at a time. "Texas win over Michigan doesn't look so great because Michigan is not what they were." Michigan is not elite this year. True. But look at how Texas won at Michigan. No team has totally dominated them in every phase. Michigan has won all their other home games and lost by only ten to Washington at Washington. They're not shit particularly at home. They may not be as good as a senior laden MAC contender that only lost to Old Dominion at home by three, but they're pretty good. Obviously Missouri would crush them in the Big House. Making it look easy doesn't mean it's easy for everybody.
  13. Fuck Ronald Reagan for That's pretty much only if you're running a sweatshop or have a pipeline of toxic waste going straight into the river. Or, you're rich and don't want to pay taxes.
  14. I think the general consensus was that Notre Dame was overrated because they struggled against a barely ranked team that never wins anything. Nobody gave a shit about the Aggie future this season. They were living down to expectations. In other words, three shitty teams. They're doing push-ups, watching film, going to practice, and whipping the likes of desperate Florida and a shitload of seniors playing for Bowling Green! Culture! And the messaging! Don't forget the messaging! William is en fuego, cabrones! Gameday was there! All of the college football world was fascinated and on edge. Would a team a cunt hair from being among the ARV (did no one recognize that the Aggies had beaten a team with lots of seniors from the MAC?) and a Missouri team nobody cares any more about than they do the Aggies: a match up made for football lovers! 1 Don't let that stop you, William. 2 All anyone could talk about after Saturday was A&M thrashing Missouri. Were there any other games that day? 3 The world was rapt. 4 They were newly ranked after the game not before it William. You really ought to let your mom proof this stuff. 1 That sounds so much better than 15th ranked. Slick William. Also, again, the Aggies weren't raised to that lofty position until the next day. 2 The Mormon National College Football Voices Choir was in great form that Saturday. 3 Take some breaths, William. Tell us again about the Bowling Green seniors! The Gators are so good now that it was an upset that they beat UCF! Notre Dame, whom y'all despise as criminally overrated, has leapt back into the top ten despite losing to NIU! (I guess opinions have risen about ND's early games, too.) Missouri's drop to #21 means they're still pretty dang great! It certainly isn't a reflection of how badly they are judged for getting beat by you. As for the rest, you win, William. I can't get through the whole article. Scratching surfaces, repeating the Missouri score, beating your chest about what you've "been saying all along," it's just too much. Have a nice night, and why don't you make breakfast for your mom for a change? She'll think it's Mother's Day.
  15. Not generally. I think we've all met people we were shocked were Trumpists. I can still be surprised by the vomit they will lap up thinking it's truth. Perhaps you can argue that someone self-immunized against rational argument based in shared reality are effectively stupid. It's the self-inflicted part that can still cause an eyebrow to rise.
  16. I have a family member who is anti-vax and was a listener to Alex Jones for a long time. The main thing I pick up from observation is the keen need to feel like you're smarter than everyone else. You're a seer among fools. That may be it for some of the otherwise intelligent people who fall into this vortex of deceit. The rest are crazies and morons.
  17. This feels kind of obscene. No likey. But thanks for posting all of these, @brakeman
  18. Steven, what about Woodward's ratings? Tell us how his ratings are in the dumper. If you're gonna go full Trump, go full Trump.
  19. Grave consequences should this happen. I guess us winning fair and square will turn the rest of the SEC into Aggies. Or, maybe they'll just be annoyed that we won and look to knock us off next year. You know, like regular fans everywhere.
