  1. Really good. I think Georgia and Smart (I didn't realize what a whiny dickhead that guy is) celebrating like they'd won the Super Bowl was telling. Georgia has been beating good teams for years. This one was special to them. The whole "nobody thought we could do it" take was surprising to me. I thought you was Georgia, kings of the SEC. I do want to play them again.
  2. Been awhile. Olin, amigo, sometimes you start with an opening sentence you should abandon upon further examination. You're one out of three here. Those four schools don't exactly suggest huge football rivalry. Olin, you buried the lede! Huge rivalry? The Bowling Green Seniors against the Toledo Rockets? There's your pinnacle of football rivalry! Only proximity prevents Bowling Green vs A&M being almost equal to that. Back to the always helpful insights of Coach Mike "this is a real program" Elko. Somehow A&M - Texas rises above Bowling Green - Toledo. Especially when you put the football side of it in. Elko does realize that's why we all go to the stadium for this contest, doesn't he? I gotta find somebody better to quote. No shit. More: First, it's a mysterious sentence on its face. Although he doesn't say it, The Elk likely means that the game still means a lot to the Aggies. One wonders how he senses this. Yea, but you guys-- Yep. We sing goodby to A&M. Exactly the same thing, Ol. Wait a minute what about the last sentence from above? Which is it, Mr. Elko? Were you lying then or are you lying now? Those guys are on steroids, Taurean. You should look into it. Tell us more. Competent recruiting can be tragic, Taurean. I'm sure you will make the Longhorns pay heavy and forget the name Anthony Hill. He must have been pure football scholarship. He neither looks nor sounds like a highly educated man. I don't think he's any smarter than Olin. Thanks, man. You got it, bro.
  3. Dogs! Get away from that bone! You done gnawed it to atoms! Git, now!
  4. Okay. Originally published for the gratification of the world in 2005, now copied for this year 19 years later. Choose? Really? Second word of your college declaration speech. Some real Aggie cornball. Good to know more Aggies were more numerous. Good bull! Now the conversion: The hat-taking off. The yelling. The medals of honor. The brotherhood of people who can't speak proper English. The light of Jesus in the offing! Fake army! There's no going back, now! Hallelujah! Praise Sully! I get it now! Whoop! Onward to the shrine. Sad. Low-expectation Agroids... ...you're supposed to work hard and be dedicated to things. Clearly it won't be silenced. The blather is ever-flowing, self-righteous, paranoid, and deluded. It is just a football game. It's not a jijad. You've got some sort of mental illness to believe otherwise. First, Point du Hoc and Corregidor were Aggie operations? Did the US just assist the Aggies in WW2? WTF? Second, the men of Corregidor were brave and enduring. That said, it was a defeat to have to surrender. Maybe this falls under the Aggie tradition of quality losses. Here we go again with the jihad. Nobody is the enemy of what you say you stand for. Get a grip.
  5. There is so much repetitious idiocy. I think this guy boils part of it all down regarding our schedule and which game they should concentrate on as a comp for the Aggies: Yea, Aggies, just be Georgia for a night. I guess that changes this weekend. Rolling. Ball. Of. Butcher. Knives.
  6. Just like they think us having a weak schedule makes us a weak team, some of them use the facts above to seemingly "prove" that good coaches start out with bad records. And that's a highly decorated TexAg up there. Check out the bling!
  7. Toxic t.u. wins SEB (Southeastern Dumpster Fire that they've already destroyed) and worthless national championship because they haven't played (and this is the parrot phrase from Parrot Land) anyone with a pulse! The refs and Sankey screwed us! They fear us becoming what we could be! I've got a buddy close to the tu program. He says they wish they could get the Aggies off the schedule before the sleeping giants wakes up. [Please add or imagine the incorrect words, grammar, and cliches yourselves.] ETA: Written before I saw Carton's post. I'm not vamping. I've got original ideas. I used to be somebody. Goddamn you!
  8. I've, at last, learned not to curse the quick outside passes as the ghost of Greg Davis. Sark is building something when he calls plays. If Ewers could only reliably hit the long pass, some of our games would be runaways or bigger runaways. I think the Aggies are in for a shock when they play a team actually worthy of the top 5. Their little heads will be roiling with complaints about the refs and how, somehow, us not having an SEC night game until now is another unfair advantage cooked up by Sankey, ESPN, and The View. Careful what you wish for, dickhead.
  9. I love this conflict between the optimists and the realists: It reminds me of a joke I heard long ago. A guy falls out of a tall building's window. Another happens to see him passing swiftly downward. "What's it like?" "So far, so good. Feels like flying!" Or like you're in control of your own destiny.
  10. Night games! Road games! No SEC road game until November! t.u. is just lucking their way through this whole thing! I suppose merit is what puts an 8-3 team in the position to make the CCG and CFP. I suppose the Aggies will get a sympathy top 25 ranking this week, but they shouldn't. What's this? Your TexAgs bros say A&M has the 7th most talented roster in the USA. Hmmm, which is the best spin? We're 8-3 with only two straight SEC losses; the last one was really close! With luck, we'll even be ranked! We're playing for SEC Championship late in the season! They're close to the program, too. The tu players are shitting themselves for fear of night and Kyle. No you're not. Nobody really cares much about A&M. This guy says it well: Took me a while to figure that out. It's evidently the mark of a very important person to be envied by all. Can you imagine boasting about that? Who wouldn't? We all had such high hopes for the elite staff Elko put together and the monsters of the MAC and Missouri Valley that he got out of the portal. Pay attention to this guy. He has one of them Us: TRAITOR! Things are right on track: That's right. We're not some fluke 8-3 team clinging to a top 25 ranking! We're big time! We're a real program! Did you see what we did to LSU? To the seniors from Bowling Green? Back off, tough guy. As always. Very important:
  11. But they stood atop the SEC standings in control of their own destiny! They're a real program! Defeating 4-6 Auburn would have convinced them that they were the team of destiny for the SEC championship. Now? The team of dysentary.
  12. Well, our first SEC season is almost over. How many guys have we lost in the grind? How battered down are we after going up against SEC teams week after week? How pathetic has our OL and run game looked these last two weeks? No. Don't tell me. It's just too sad.
  13. Nobody cares what their team does after the Super Bowl Victory parade. They won the Superbowl! We're winners! I was concerned about college football becoming the NFL. What an idiot. The whole country has become the NFL.
  14. Past tense. They were hungry. I've been studying Spanish on my own. Gratifying. I also ran it through google translate to be sure. ETA It occurs to me that Spanish may be useful in our emerging banana republic. Caudillo Trump.
  15. Well, you know, they're a real program. Kind of a big deal. You've got facilities. Hoo boy, has A&M got facilities! And you going to keep the boys off of the farm once they've seen a game at Kyle? A&M doesn't need a QB this year anyway. They've got 'em stacked.
  16. He and William are confident that A&M did perfectly well with QB recruiting. Now seeking non-highly rated QBs because ratings are not really that important. Elko and crew are evaluating. Thoroughly. See Brauny for more copium.
  17. They ate 'em all. Tenian mucho hambre.
  18. For those quibbling about no consequences: "Alleged War Criminal and Criminal Against Humanity Ben Netanyaju" is not a favorable epithet for a leader much of the world believes to be just those things. This is now quotable by the credible world press which is generally timid about such proclamations even when they document them in person. Now they can quote the court.
  19. I needed that dark laugh. Thank you.
