  1. I'm not melting down! You're melting down! Nasty woman. ETA: I quoted a CNN online headline in the last few weeks that was similarly straightforward. They need to put that person in charge of the whole shootin' match.
  2. I'm not claiming they're lying or even partisan. They're incompetent and not doing their part in the democracy. At least, TV news media. The example here is them quoting GOP lies without identifying them as such. They're a quote service who will now seek the other quote to make it "balanced." They'll also have several panels discuss whether this will hurt Walz whether the claims are true or not. It's their template for everything and why they have destroyed themselves as newspeople. JD Vance says X about Walz. Walz spokesperson says the statement is false. Now let's talk about how this may affect the polls and the race. It's a fucking nightmare.
  3. Amen. Amen to this, too. At least, the Dems are stepping up at last. I think the above paragraph is an excellent summation of what I'm seeing. Sad > hopeful reserved > skillfully combative This boy needs a good cuffing.
  4. That's winning our game not his. He will be a bitter loser in constant impotent rage about the fake news making up stories about him lying, losing, committing crimes, and being a laughing stock. True. It's the electorate.
  5. I begin to find myself content thinking he might live quite awhile as a punchline. Imagine the raving and jabbering he'll produce from Mar a Lago or his cell. Delicious.
  6. That's singularly unimpressive. CNN calls it "dramatic." A bunch of panicked, dumbass cops yelling at each other.
  7. Sounds like some sort of weird religion he's into. Sentient smoke forming opinions but being fallible. A relatable deity. The smoke always continues, but can sometimes be wrong. Pray to it, and you will grab some momentum. Or it's just lack of imagination.
  8. Elko putting in the effort to get the details right!
  9. Good call, Ags. LB12Diamond has gone from asking to asserting. Too bad Blue has no history since HS. It's nice to get salty advice from a legendary program of the SECSECSEC like the Aggies. We're just rookies. They're veterans of The League. Badasses one and all. Manly. HOWDY!
  10. They like to pretend they're badasses, but, when it comes down to it, they say shit like they hadn't trained to fight in the Colorado altitude. Or they pull a sword on a cheerleader. Or they build an absurdly large bonfire incorrectly and kill a bunch of their own students and tell themselves the whole fiasco is somehow heroic. I dislike them.
  11. I got to have a little fun. Scott says he's making a movie and that's why he's scraggly. He is, indeed, making a movie. He must be the star! And he's the star! And he's...in it! Must have been busy making other movies and this was all the time he had for this masterpiece. His most recent work: So, I guess not. Big, big celeb.
  12. Brisket, me, and the ledge crew a couple of weeks ago: Now:
  13. Self-proclaimed classiest fans anywhere. HOWDY! These types of Aggies are very small people. One of the years that Fran beat us, I went out to some wineries with my beloved. An Aggie was working a serving table as a volunteer. Guess how I knew he was an Aggie? Yep. Head to toe. I got to his spot and said, "congratulations on your win yesterday. I'm a Longhorn." "It's nice to finally find a good loser." Total class in rare victory. I don't have any snappy ending like Aggies have when they lie about encountering one of us. You know the type, "I said Alabama would have beat you if you played four weeks later. The sippie was stunned at my devastating wit. I just walked away." He kept smiling at me waiting for praise or something. He put whatever he was serving on my plate. I said thanks and moved on like I did at every spot on the line. I resolved to never offer a strange (strange as in unacquainted with) Aggie a sportsmanlike congrats again. I do with most other schools when I see their colors, and there usually ensues a short amusing conversation. Most find something nice to say back. Not Aggies.
  14. They created the myth that UT gave Anthony Hill's dad a big job and other perks. Somebody's buddy who is close to the program told the lie's originator that this was the case. So, yes, it's a new Aggie "fact." And every accusation is a confession with those idiots.
  15. Fair point. I've made a similar point about the rise of the 2%s being their best hope of moving towards not being so weird. Ironincally, the redasses (they fit my description!), think that increasing enrollment will create more redasses.
  16. There's no dissent at Texas A&M University. They are all of the same political bent except for about 2%.
  17. Yep. When we're half-decent and ranked, away stadiums are packed with locals who never attend games. We're accustomed to big crowds. It's fun even if you're not really a blue blood of the modern era as defined by the Aggies who are America's chief creators of eras. Wonder why they don't just use the century change. 'Tis a mystery.
  18. 1 Michigan with defense and more points beats Texas. 2 Aggie belief in loud crowds unnerving Texas is totally unsupported by our history on their field. 3 Vanderbilt in terms of Vandy. We'll be surprised by the terms, I suppose. 4 Teams will be fired up for Texas. Doomed. 5 Again with the loud crowd thing. 6 If Texas is bad at every position, Texas will be bad. I love this. Modern college football era starts at the same time as their one stretch of cheating their way to winning games yet still missing out on real contention for the national title. SealyAggies sticks to his guns: Hmmmmm: That's my understanding, as well. This guy manages to marry their cognitive dissonance very concisely:
  19. He's good enough to be second choice had Elko turned down your destination opening!
  20. It must be a relief to many cartoonists that they're no longer the only news media element recognizing the insanity/weirdness of MAGA. I bet they felt almost as impotent as I do posting about this stuff on a football board. Or maybe my posts are responsible for the surprising groundswell! You're welcome, America.
  21. 1. Okay, we're worried about the psuedo-Christians losing their fear and hate. 2. Good point. We don't want our school shooters and other white mass-murderers invading Mexico. Donald cares. 3. Hi, anti-science psuedo-Christians and other degenerates. Let's watch the children burn and starve, exspecially that Greta Thumberger. 4. Hey, that's my gig! Well, except I just keep the money.
  22. Yours? Catering? Do we have caterers? Are we falling behind on this, too? Here it is again: We cannot allow a catering gap! Inside every t-sip and Duck is an Aggie trying to get out. Stout hearted men who want to be Aggies! No shit.
