  1. It's exactly that fucking bad. It will take a new, powerful political movement to even start the reversal, IMHO. A lot of the movement would have to be fat, comfortable white people. So far, we ain't done much. My beloved is of like mind, but we're now in a small community where she's made friends. They don't talk politics. There are Trump flags on our country road. I thought of putting out a Mexican flag to show some welcome to all the latinos who may be frightened. It would likely be alienating to some friends of hers, so no move. I'm torn about this. I must find a public avenue to at least try to scratch up the monster that's devouring our free world.
  2. I remember exactly where I was when I overheard someone say Vince was leaving. Big man's area of Dillards. Looking at a belt. Anguish.
  3. This is like a push poll. Or like, "is Derek Cooper going to prison?" I'm not on a jihad. I won't post anymore about this. It's just an observation.
  4. I have no idea how this running back makes his decisions, but it occurs to me that there is a big difference in the A&M and Texas running strategy. Go to A&M and become a feature back, and you'll get a lot of carries and, if their line actually improves over the next few years, a lot of yards grounding and pounding. I can see the appeal in that. Come to Texas and you will likely not get as large a number of touches or yards, but you will be more likely to make spectacular plays set up by our run-pass strategy. Also appealing. I wonder if I'm hitting on any reality with this consideration.
  5. Just showing up and asking questions without even trying to verify on your own first is very TexAggy. Not saying you're an Aggie or a troll, but that's the level where those two posts are.
  6. That's Taliban type shit right there. Recall the stupid reasoning for fighting "terror" was because they hated freedom according to the genius W. Bush? We're no longer about freedom and liberty. The polls posted by @C-Man are revolting. I'm not 50. Such horrible irony that he is being literal. Pundits and paper will not grasp the biggest story in their lives, they will nibble at the edges and congratulate their efforts at fatal contrarianism. Yes, you dumb, big-picture-missing motherfucker, D.C. does have a serious crime problem. It is home to the biggest most heinous crime the republic will likely ever know. Send the Army to the White House is you want to stop it. Purge the agencies of their appointees. Or you can take make a show of being open-minded by counting the number of post-grads fellating each other on the head of a pin. Tell me what the data shows. This republic is failed by every big player. The lower courts tried, but we see how that ends up.
  7. A very enlightening post that concisely lays out the situation and future. For every white man since WW2: Maybe go to college, get a good job as skilled labor or with a white collar, make enough to buy a house. [Economy booms, corporations offer benefits to attract grads] You must go to college to get a white collar job (if there is one) and suburban sensibilities don't push anyone to skilled labor, payback a ruinous student loan (that is now required; it wasn't for me), move into high density rental housing [a glut of grads means corporations hold the cards. Bye bye benefits] While your elders are at it, they refuse to take any responsibility for the future. Or the present for that matter. And, hey!, they've installed a murder cult to run the most powerful nation in the world! I've written about how we will be hated and rightfully so. Rapine ways are American ways and always have been. Look at what we do to land and anyone who gets in our way or the way of big money. In the 60s & early 70s, there was a moment when we could have changed. Environmental awareness and the Energy Crisis pushed us in good directions. Eighties? The road goes on forever and the party never ends. The hate will be/is deserved in aggregate. I thought the worst of the consequences would come later, but now I think I may get to see them. I do little things to reduce carbon, save water, and shit. It's sort of selfish because I don't want it said that I did nothing. That's all being cancelled out by the Murder Cult anyway. Sorry to go long. Your post is so packed and correct. Compliments.
  8. Also: It's appropriate that the Federalist Papers devolved into this thoughtful public discourse between two (too?) politically influencial individuals. Great days. We live in them.
  9. I like how, as a group, they laugh at how we're going to be crushed by Ohio State, yet they lament tOSU's reduced state making a victory meaningless for tu.
  10. You can see them working their way to claiming this factoid is proof of the unfair advantage the sips get. I think we can agree that Texas A&M University is a dynesty and will always be a dynesty. Further in this vein: Yea! Texas never has to prove shit on the field while the real talented teams get their cred on the field! Take Arizona State for example! We, like everyone else, aspire to be one win from appearing in a conference championship game then loosing the month of November. But. So. Close.
  11. This news will buoy the hurt feelings of the MAGAs whose faces are being digested by leopards. Another harmful, irrational act with sweeping consequences enacted by the Diaper in Chief. How long before all sex change operations are ordered reversed? Yeah, I'm distracted from college football, too. It's the only sport I follow. I'll watch, but the looming sense of dread watching a republic implode from rot pervades.
  12. How many times have you been punched in the nose?
  13. Sadly, so does the ambulatory shit diaper who runs the policy.
  14. I've skipped the thread to ask a question. I thought the first episode went slow and never got very far. Does the narrative pick up some tempo and reveal interesting facts? If it's mostly about mourning, then I'm not that interested. I already know it was terrible.
  15. Oh boy. Scintillating argument coming up.
  16. 1 Why would anyone do that when there's a summary? You ever listened to yourself, William? Beating. Beeeee-ting. 2 The word you're looking for is summary. A transcript is a word-by-word record. A short-handed transcript, I'm guessing, is a transcript that needs more employees. I know, William, it's the short-handed transcriber who makes you sound dull-minded again here. 3 I'm sure you're right. Listen, I have plenty of posts around here. Pick one and show me how it's done. Oh, and thanks for reading! 4 That's a mission statement for one of our schools.
  17. Ummm, guys. Guys. GUYS! I love you guys, but discussing this as a crime issue is just sort of...uhhhhh....missing the big picture. It wouldn't matter if the murder rate were 20% higher and other crimes the same. He's ordering federal forces to seize an American city. There is only one reason. He's testing how much power he has. So far, he's got all of it. Crime has nothing more to do with this than rodent control. Keep relying on some sort of political solution founded in Dem messaging, and Trump will hit no boundary. Acid wit and astute argument are not the appropriate instruments to stop a seizure by force. If anybody gave a real shit about this, there would be a national strike and unbridled outrage. Leaving protest and resistance only in the hands of the persecuted is pathetic. A joyful, self-satisfied, one-time event like "No Kings" is just checking a box. Check here if you did at least something. There are a lot of checkboxes between that and Check here if you successfully stopped tyranny. I begin to despise our passivity as much or more than the fascists' malignance. I'm being too polite in this world. I must act more or hate myself.
  18. Bill of Rights Whites
  19. A stupid remark can come across as ironic when you overestimate the intelligence of the speaker. I get that a lot!
  20. It's about seeing yourself as victim while victimizing, sir. Duality of man. The Jungian thing.
