  1. Maybe the portability of the detached scrotum makes it easier for "Snakey" to keep it adhered to his chin.
  2. ? Does anybody follow the homicide rate and worry about i as the author suggests? Am I to believe that an electorate of distracted morons is awaiting the publication of crime statistics with the same attention they devote to sports, reality TV, or FOX News? I believe people react to the fear tactics of politicians. All kinds of murder going down in Chicago! I'm sure the upper middle class suburbs are carnage fests. Vote GOP! Frankly, I'm not sure I buy that adding policemen does anything for the murder rate other than maybe increasing it for Black drivers who violate traffic laws. The better bet would be whatever the preventative measures are. I couldn't be bothered to keep reading much beyond that which I quote above. If Trump wins and starts destroying the institutions of the republic, it would actually be sort of disappointing if more blood were not spilled.
  3. You describe the very reason I feel frustrated and disarmed. Logic, facts, and solid argument have no place in the current "discourse." National media covers the Dem controversy which is newsworthy, but their wall-to-wall coverage and panel talk about it push it to the front. They make passing mention of Trump's lies and Project 2025 as though those issues are somehow secondary. I don't know how much difference it would make if the journalists did their jobs, but they should still do their fucking jobs.
  4. Oh no! It's in our state amid two new members and us! Sinister plot with felatio! It will be sad to see the SEC Conference Championship Game sparsely populated: I don't know about low attendance. This guy flew all the way from Appalachian State in North Carolina to watch a regular season SEC game.
  5. I honestly don't know if they cut together that piece or Jones actually said it. I assume it's the latter. A nation led by crazy greedy degenerates. It's a shame we're not even going to get a benevolent dictator out of this.
  6. Family wrecker. Alternative lifestyles. Dirty little secrets!
  7. They've figured out that the coach who got them to within one game of winning a national championship was the problem.
  8. To quote the honorable Richard Nixon when he realized that he was being recorded: But that would be wrong.
  9. I believe we've flipped several of their commits. Nobody cares about your histrionics. LB12 is on this thread, too. He gets the whole narcism (sic) thing. He hurts his team. That's why he hasn't won it all. He owned our asses at TCU and came within one game of winning the whole thing last season, but that's not really quite enough at a championship engine like Texas A&M University of Texas! Well, back to humping little boys! HOWDY! I'll just append this. No commentary needed:
  10. Well, there you have it. A few Aggies saying it's absolutely true with no evidence, that's enough for me. "TCU fans told us about it!" Open shut case. What about past success? Does that have any bearing on evaluation? Pearls clutched? Check! But not as much as here: I'll guarantee you one of those guys is molesting little girls and boys. That was some over-compensating moralism coming in hot. 1 Oops, they're calling him Trev like he's an old buddy and straight shooter. 2 Ol' Trev ain't gettin' excited about some loose-living shenanigans, no sirree bob. 3 A&M has always had that high standard. They fired RC right away when his wife dumped his clothes on the practice field because he was screwing his secretary. Oh wait, he's a hero to Aggies. These fucking guys. Same ones as further above laying out the psychology. And there's another p-word. what was it? That's right! Projection. It's not AgBQdoublenaught's intuition; it's his experience with his fellow Aggies. Enslaved to their personal demons (traditional lies) and then doubling down on the absurd assertion that they're special and better. LB12... what can you say? You can practically hear the clickity-click of the film projector. Textbook description of redassedness. These guys don't have agtags. They'll probably be put on the death threat list. That last hi-lit line is kinda of what Texans were many decades ago. Mind your own business. A&M is the least classic Texas place in the state. Frankly, I don't know who were are now.
  11. Yea, lets get off that joke. Anybody have an opinion about DT recruiting? A fresh one? The original point was that it wasn't as hot as fuck as it is in Texas. We spend 7 months with a median high above 80. They spend 2. Yes. Players don't need lap blankets and hot water bottles. It's my understanding that college football players are fairly tough.
  12. From the History of the UT (Texas not Tennessee. I know it's confusing. For Tennessee.) Don't see nuthin' about Aggies. We hadn't make them yet.
  13. Which one was established to be a university of the first class?
  14. The MSM plays everything so absurdly safe. They're terrified of being sued, so they bend over backwards to be safe. Don't report anything, get a quote. Why not dig for the story rather than being a quote service? This mainly goes for TV media. There are still good reporters in print journalism doing their jobs brilliantly. If they didn't do so, the TV guys would have nothing to say. The TV news media clings to narratives and are very stubborn about looking deeper. Polarized country. They can't get over this hump. Poles are balanced and attached to each other. They are opposites in position, but substantially the same. We're "polarized" because one side runs a hate engine and has prompted and defended an attack on the Capitol. The polarity is not tied to old politics or policy differences. One side wants to take over. Stop talking about this conflict as though it's symmetrical. It's not even close to that. TV MSM is lazy and incompetent. They're pretty much on auto-pilot because it's easier than taking hard looks at things and determining for yourself what is real then reporting it with evidence. Now back to our panel of experts....
  15. Yep. People write as though a top recruit is going to a place to raise a family in the suburbs. They live in a fabulous bubble no matter where they go. Has any significant number of recruits ever said or intimated that they didn't go to Eugene or Michigan because of the weather? A lot of southern players make the trip.
  16. Watching the debate, I felt Biden had been over-prepped and was reaching for canned responses. I thought he should just focus on a single point each time he was asked a question and then talk about the fate of the nation should the fascist rapist get elected. Policy arguments are old paradigm. Brass knuckles character assassination is new paradigm. Trump is such a ripe target for that. Whoever proceeds, they need to focus on what the biggest issue for the country is: America is the Constituion; Trump is killing the constituion by any means possible. And just stay on the attack. If Trump cared about the country, he'd be involved in preventing or planning for the climate disaster. He's not doing it because of money from the rich. No more, "We got $200MM for education and the VA... " Very sadly, the ones who will decide neither care nore understand.
  17. This is some classic Aggie stupid narration. 1 Massive failure if we don't do something the Aggies have never achieved or come near achieving. They're going to get huge yucks if we go 11-3 with a playoff win while they thumb their nuts and wonder why in the world they hired Elko. 2 Fall short and still land way above them. It's like a would-be actor in the audience guffawing and pointing when the lead on stage stumbles for a moment. 3 It sure as shit would for you. 4 The Aggies have magnificently maintained their high initial ranking since the magical -cough- 2020 season. They've only been ranked at the beginning of the year for a few years now. Explain the world to me, Yukon. Guy makes a great and fresh observation about the league. I'm enlightened. Have we ever played a decent team after OU? We played them every year after OU. I wonder if he'll ever do the easy math for that equation. Jack's right. It may only be the last two or three years. Well, maybe it is the last four yearsi after all. Ol' Jack ain't going down easy. 1 Sark made the playoff. Jimbo's getting 7 mil a year not to coach A&M. Advantage A&M. 2 Yes. A&M took it so serenely. The nation was filled with admiration for their composure. Thanks @Longhornfrenzy
  18. And they really can't find a representative for the victim to put on a panel for tedious dissection. If they did, they'd have to have a pro-child rape side and an anti child rape side so they could be sure that everthing is balanced and both sides have their say. They can't call Trump a liar or even those things he says lies. Too provocative! They will never say alleged rapist Trump even though a civil suit has pretty much given them leave to drop the alleged. They're hidebound by templates. I doubt them telling the naked truth about what they, TV "journalists," see would make much difference now. It may have made a difference back in 2017 and after to call a spade a spade and not an alleged digging device.
  19. I think this post makes you an authority on dumb.
  20. Had Biden not been chosen 4 years ago, Trump would have been re-elected. The Dem debate stage was overflowing with candidates that I would happily vote for. (No, Tulsi, not you.) It was amazing then and it's amazing now that none of them would have won. Elizabeth Warren was my favored choice. She's superior to Trump in every way. Since then, we've seen Jan. 6 and criminal trials, and Trump's numbers are undiminished. I guess I'm taking a lot of words to say I'm not sure who would energize the base to get out and vote. You're right about the absolute shit of a GOP nominee, but I don't know that Harris or whoever is going to get the remarkably undecided and lazy voters to the polls. I hope you're right. I'd prefer some of the other Dems to Joe because of his age. I just don't want this panic stampede to lead to a disastrous decision. If Kamala were to be the candidate, I wonder if Joe should go all in and resign the presidency to boost her with whatever she could get out of encumbancy. You'll note that I make no predictions. I'm always wrong and bitterly disappointed. The re-election of W and the election of Trump I would have deemed impossible.
  21. I wonder if his strategy in delaying to change his social media to UT stuff was calculated. You know, if those idiots strike out on a couple of top guys, they might actually hire a green assistant. I'm going to wait this thing out a little bit. Jackpot. I've heard recently about a guy that controls the hiring of college baseball headcoaches who said Early was the best coach in the country. He's so good, he can let the coaching take care of itself while he praises God, checks on his kids, and wears snappy sport coats.
  22. He is too old. He's not incompetent. He's not prone to damage the republic. He gives a shit. The only question is which candidate is better for the country in the role of president. The choice between these two men is the easiest in any election ever. It's crazy.
  23. That's the fucking story. It's common knowledge. I don't see how the Dems can devise some slick presentation to open vother eyes to the sun shining down on them. I don't think the majority of the media don't bend the knee to corporate masters, but I profoundly agree with your post. I can't watch the news coverage or analysis for the very situation you describe. That's the story they should be able to cover, but they cannot break their habits of covering the same story over and over again because it is comfortable and expected. The piece by Medhi up above is a rare vision with clear eyes seeing this election is about the fate of the republic. Not some fate over policy but an existential fate. I came to post this: The Atlantic website is stuck in the old paradigm. The presidential election is like a horse race because you keep looking at the polls to see who is ahead. That's what they report on: that sweet inside story that makes the reporters feel like they're really deep. They all read this book: And they want to feel like Joe McGinniss by not doing as he did: digging up a real story. The new guys avoid digging up anything and simply retell his story. It liklely wouldn't matter much if they did do the real story in the real words about the death of the republic, but they could sleep at night. Who am I kidding? They all sleep fine. Willingness to cause violence is what it will boil down to. I don't think the soft, delusional average American has it in him. I'm not delusional, but I'm at an age when just riding it out sounds better than standing up.
