  1. Yes. I'm sure the Roman Senate will depose Augustus Caesar any day now.
  2. First, where has this guy been since 2016? Second, Who said anything about non-profit?
  3. No no no. Schloss and CDC were swinger buddies in Ft. Worth where Schloss had to leave due to unrevealed deviltry that an Aggie heard about from a buddy of his close to the program. Schloss was an upgrade for the Aggies who hadn't consulted the guy with the buddy close to the TCU program. Aggies said "howdy!" to Schloss and walked him to the stadium. Schloss was awestruck at the traditions and high character of the Aggies. At a swinger party where they had upside down pineapples up their asses, CDC started his seduction. Honor codes had no place with these evil men. They met in a graveyard to seal the deal where both cackled and reminisced about the pineapple experience. Schloss was talking to t.u. during the College World Series! To t.u.! In the presence of the classiest and best fans in all of sports. Schloss chose pineapples, dildo-waving, and LGBQT tolerance over the very special place called Texas A&M University where people are part of something bigger than themselves. Betrayal most foul, indeed! The Aggies hired his assistant coach, beloved by the players and ever loyal to the dear old Texas Aggies. Earley is making his first season as Aggie head coach one that will not soon be forgotten.
  4. I drove through coming back from New England and just a few weeks after the shooting. Worthwhile side trip. I did the same thing passing through Tuscaloosa. I'm not like you rich fuckers going to all the away games. I drove through W. Virginia one time. Gorgeous drive but Morgantown is a surprising dump.
  5. If I were speaking of a football game, that's correct. It's not astonishing. I wasn't talking about the relative size of crowds. You and I seem to miss on a lot of things when we converse. How many billionaires were there 40 years ago? I doubt the number of football fans have grown by the same multiple. Written without rancor.
  6. They've already got the hater vote. They created the Hater Party. I hate them, but it doesn't really seem to do much good. I will, however, maintain the disposition.
  7. That's still an astonishing number. When I was a little boy, there was a TV show called The Millionaire. And, of course there's A very funny moment in a surprisingly funny movie.
  8. Oligarchies indeed have a small number of ruling dickheads who should be stripped of all possessions and forced to wander the land forbidden help by any citizen.
  9. We suck, but we're about the same as t.u. Except for our dominance of the business world, that is. I see they stick with one of their "modern era" start dates. If they go back to 1939, they'll have an even smaller conference to be mediocre in. Dang. Being fancy put me in second place.
  10. CRUELTY IS OUR BRAND
  11. I would love to be on the other side of this argument, but I wouldn't believe a word I was saying. You're right. I've mentioned a terrific article in Atlantic a couple of months ago about the Kingdom Christians. In Vanity Fair with Selena Gomez on the cover, there's a great and demoralizing article about the Catholic Right that starts with Candace Owens' conversion and expands from there. Between the Catholics and the Protestant hate movements, I don't see much room for persuading these people of anything. If you're local preacher/priest or lay person has told you that Trumpist hate politics are the will of God, and you believe it, I don't see convincing you of the relative advantages of policy. Writing the above reminded me of Adam Schiff's voice against Trump. Still breaks my heart. So, to the Trumpists in the hinterlands: And I know his fate.
  12. Did that argument prevent your restraining order? Next 15 year old boy who bumps into me is getting an ass whoopin'!
  13. This is a tired fucking take. Nobody is weeping. It's tough to lose a big job with national attention. It's public failure. I doubt he or anyone other than the tough guys even think in terms of sympathy or give a rat fuck about yours. I don't feel sorry for him, but I've failed before; it sucks. I empathize.
  14. Liucci Montana lays it all out.
  15. Facing SEC air is a week in and week out grind. It's not for the faint of heart. It's line-of-scrimmage air.
  16. I love movies made on that scale. Thief is about as tight and perfect a movie of its genre you will find. I watch it every five years or so.
  17. Trump Incites Followers to Threaten Federal Judges In an unprecedented use of the bully pulpit, President Trump has incited violence against the courts and anyone else challenging his installment of authoritarianism to replace democracy. The president's attempt to rule by fiat or executive order represents the gravest threat to American democracy since the nation's creation. Fucking pussy assed, mealy mouthed chickenshit editorial staff.
  18. Then, suddenly, WHOA, Horse! WHOA! I thought it was already headed in the right direction. What happened to everybody was bought in, locked up, staying the course, headed for paradise? The beautiful thing was right over the horizon! Clearly in reference to some vicarious experience: More delusion. Nice turn of phrase: Shades of Elko's guys last off season: They walk, they talk, they practice fielding ground balls, they go to batting practice! It's a whole new day! Lastly, maybe some insight as he talks about something else: Hey guys, we got swept at home by Bama, but it was really cool watching your effort. We're on the right track. Things are gonna change. I can feel it! Who is up for pizza?

I thought the first half was tedious. The entry of the good Armenian was the start of something good. The ending was very good. Shouting "What the fuck!?!" a hundred times or more is a beating on the ears. Overall: Poor. I thought the Mexican movie was far better in every way.
