Aggie War Room: A&M recruiting intel from loaded Dallas Pylon event VIP By ANDREW HATTERSLEY 4 hours ago With Signing Day in the rearview mirror for the most part, the focus now turns to the class of 2022 and 2023 as the 7-on-7 season swings into full gear. The Aggies have already built up a notable amount of momentum with five additions to the 2022 class over just the last couple of weeks. GigEm247 was on hand throughout the entire weekend in Carrollton and has gathered a ton of intel on a number of A&M prospects. 2022 BEAUMONT WEST BROOK DB BRYCE ANDERSON (Photo: Andrew Hattersley, 247Sports) Just over a week after decommitting from LSU, 2022 West Brook defensive back Bryce Anderson has certainly been garnering quite a bit of attention from a number of programs including Texas A&M, Texas, Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson and Oklahoma. The Aggies have been one of the schools most aggressive in their pursuit of Anderson with TJ Rushing and Ishmael Aristide in contact multiple times a week. The top-100 safety has said that he would like to wait until the late summer to make a decision, but sources close to Anderson indicated to GigEm247 a decision could come sooner than that. Texas is another school in hot pursuit of Anderson, who said he is in contact with Blake Gideon and Terry Joseph on a daily basis as well. Right now, this is certainly shaping up to be a battle between the Aggies and Longhorns with others pushing to get in the mix as well. 2022 ALEDO S BRYAN ALLEN (Photo: Andrew Hattersley, 247Sports) Another former LSU commit who opted to reopen his recruitment is Bryan Allen. Texas A&M is among the programs to reach out to Allen after he reopened his recruitment along with Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Kansas State and Texas Tech. Once the dead period is lifted, Allen said he would like to visit Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Georgia. Allen is still in the early stages of building a relationship with the A&M staff but said he has been in contact with analyst Ishmael Aristide while adding the two have a good relationship right now. There is no timeline for a decision from Allen at this point. 2022 ROCKWALL-HEATH WR JAY FAIR (Photo: Andrew Hattersley, 247Sports) Another A&M target in action this past weekend was Jay Fair, who is coming off a big season with Rockwall-Heath. After seeing his recruitment really take off in the past month or so, Fair said he and his family have been sitting down on a weekly basis to take stock of where his recruitment stands with the goal of making a decision sometime this spring. Texas A&M and TCU are two of the schools that have made a strong impression on Fair with Auburn and Georgia in the mix as well. Fair recently conducted a virtual visit with the A&M staff and came away impressed from the presentation where he got the chance to see the facilities and talk with Jimbo Fisher for the first time. The Horned Frogs are a strong factor as well. 2022 FRISCO LIBERTY WR EVAN STEWART (Photo: Collin Kennedy, 247Sports) I had a chance to catch up as well with Frisco Liberty wide receiver Evan Stewart, who appeared close to announcing a decision in recent weeks before deciding to hold off. Stewart said he plans to take some time to make a decision and did hear a few weeks ago from A&M wide receivers coach Dameyune Craig, while Jimbo Fisher has been in contact as well. Still from talking with sources around Stewart, A&M has a significant amount of ground to make up for the national top-50 prospect if they decide to push for him with others including Texas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and LSU making strong pushes as well

DrummBeat: More on Dennis Simmons... VIP Reply Back To Topics Brandon Drumm Posted on 92 secs, V I P, , User Post Count: 0 92 secsVIP As Horns247 reported, Andre Coleman is being retained as WR coach at Texas. I will add that sources very close and well-placed to Dennis Simmons tell me that the Texas job was very much in consideration and that talks were serious. He was offered over 750k. That I can confirm. I’m also told that Simmons informed Riley at that point and that Riley, even on vacation, was in daily conversations with Simmons telling him that OU would do whatever is necessary to keep him. I would be lying if I said this wasn’t something to be nervous about because it was if you were in an OU fan. However, Simmons told Riley he was sticking around in Norman before he, himself, left for his family vacation on Saturday, according to sources. I briefly exchanged texts with a well-placed source on Saturday that spoke of Simmons and ended the conversation saying “boomer” hinting that he was most likely staying. This is good news as Simmons is a key fixture on the Sooners staff and the fact he has landed Mario Williams, Jalil Farooq, Cody Jackson, Talyn Shettron and Luther Burden in the 2021-2022 OU recruiting classes. All top WRs and highly sough after four and five-star recruits. Simmons is also one of the main recruiters for five-star Raleek Brown. One of the Sooners top 2022 targets and has helped OU lead on him for some time. Expect Simmons to get a nice bump in pay over next few seasons and POTENTIALLY additional coaching titles. All in all, very good news for Riley and OU -

but Perroni said Penn State back in it for Top247 defensive end VIP ByBRIAN DOHN Penn State's need to land defensive linemen in 2021 remains paramount to finishing its class, and a familiar name is back on the radar for the Nittany Lions. After speaking with sources in the last few days, the Nittany Lions have are back in the picture with four-star defensive end Elijah Jeudy of Philadelphia Northeast. It is a major development for the Nittany Lions and the No. 10 weak side defensive end in the industry-generated 247Sports composite. According to sources, Penn State grad assistant Deion Barnes is the driving force behind Jeudy giving the Nittany Lions another look. Barnes, who played at Penn State, joined the Nittany Lions staff in January after serving as Northeast's defensive coordinator, so there is strong relationship between he and Jeudy. The 6-foot-3, 246-pound Jeudy decommitted from Georgia last week and at the time all signs pointed toward a flip to Texas A&M, where his relationship with Aggies defenisve line coach Elijah Robinson is strong. However, rather than committing to Texas A&M, Jeudy said he will announce his choice on national signing day, which is Dec. 16. It is quite the turn of events for Penn State, which was in early with Jeudy and hosted him for an unofficial visit in December but did not make his "final five" in the spring. That list was Georgia, Texas A&M, Oregon, Tennessee and LSU. However, that Penn State is again involved should not be a shock. When Jeudy made that early December visit, he gushed about the program. "It was amazing as it always is,” he said at the time. “Today’s visit was different from my other visits because it was more personal. It was a much smaller group and we had a lot of 1-on-1 time with the coaches. We really got to pick their brains

Spoke to Bear Alexander Brian Perroni STAFF Posted on 49 mins, V I P, User Since 206 months ago, User Post Count: 0 49 minsVIP 206 months I will have a full update in the morning but I know a lot of people had questions after his tweet tonight saying he had made a decision. He wouldn’t tip his hand but says that he has decided in his mind. He says he will probably announce it soon but that is a relative term. I asked if he meant like in the next week and he said probably not because he still needed to talk things over with his parents. We talked about Elijah Robinson using the bear gifs and he is a big fan of Robinson. He said Robinson has been on him since he was in eighth grade and the fact that he was the first in-state player in his class offered by A&M was a big deal to him. I honestly don’t know where it’s going to be but I think A&M has as good a chance as anybody
