Texas A&M Super Bowl event to have a loaded visitor list VIP ByBRIAN PERRONI 120 minutes ago Share 15 Comments WR Troy Omeire (Photo: Brian Perroni, 247Sports) Just like a year ago, Texas A&M will host a number of its top underclassman targets for a Super Bowl party next weekend. Last season saw the Aggies pick up two commitments at the event but also gain momentum with quite a few others in the class as many committed not long after. This year’s event will again be star-studded and the visitor list will have more names added to it throughout the week. Players like the North Shore trio listed in the ‘maybe’ column still need to figure out their plans for next weekend and likely won’t know for a little while. Again, this list will see additions as we confirm more players, but these are ones that we have confirmed so far. The current class of 2020 commitments are all expected in town as well. -2020 Fort Bend Marshall QB Malik Hornsby: Once very close to being an A&M commitment, the national top-100 dual-threat prospect is still very high on the Aggies. He still says he wants to take visits this spring though. He says it is relatively sure he will be in town. -2020 Fort Bend Marshall RB/WRDevon Achane: You won’t find many more electrifying players in the open field in the class than Achane. A high school running back, he will be a slot receiver at the next level and is very high on A&M. -2020 Cedar Hill Trinity Christian CBDwight McGlothern: The five-star prospect has seemingly spent more time in College Station than he has in his hometown. He will be making his second trip in three weekend. However, the Aggies have some competition for him with Alabama being a notable one. -2020 Aledo RB Jase McClellan(Oklahoma commit): The five-star junior made a very early commitment to Oklahoma as a sophomore but has still remained in contact with the Aggies since. He has been to College Station a couple times and will be there again next weekend. -2020 Muscle Shoals (Ala.) LB Jackson Bratton (Alabama commit): An early Alabama pledge, it will be hard to switch the four-star linebacker from his in-state pledge. However, he made plans to be in Aggieland shortly after being offered a few weeks back. -2020 Houston C.E. King S Bryson Washington: The four-star safety was not able to make it with his Fast7v7 teammates last weekend, so he will make the trip for the Super Bowl party instead. -2020 Bastrop Cedar Creek DE Alfred Collins: Perhaps the state’s best defensive lineman, A&M was the first to offer Collins. However, he is a Longhorn legacy. The Aggies need to continue to get him to campus. -2020 Newton DE James Sylvester:Though he has offers from all over the country, Sylvester looks like he will be an A&M-TCU battle. He is very high on the Aggies but has three class of 2019 teammates headed to play for the Horned Frogs. -2020 Fort Bend Austin WR Troy Omeire: A big and fast wide receiver, the national top-100 prospect will be an A&M-Texas battle. It is big that the Aggies are getting him on campus again. -2020 Cibolo Steele CB Jaylon Jones:Once very close to committing to the Aggies, the four-star cornerback now has Texas up there as well. Like many of the other in-state battles, it is big to get him on campus again. -2020 Lancaster CB Lorando Johnson:The four-star cornerback recently named A&M in his top three, along with Arkansas and LSU. The Crystal Ball is in favor of LSU but the Aggies are still most definitely in it. -2020 Lancaster RB/ATH Kevontre Bradford: The 5-foot-11, 185-pound high school running back does not have an offer from A&M at the moment, but he is one to watch. He has added several big offers recently, including one from USC on Saturday. -2020 Mansfield Timberview CB Jalen Kimber: The Aggies are very high on Kimber and vice versa. He has seen his offer list increase quite a bit but is considered an A&M lean. -2020 Stafford DE/LB Robert Wooten:A high school defensive end at a somewhat smaller school, the 6-foot-3, 230-pound Wooten is being looked at as a linebacker by the Aggies but is also being evaluated as a pass-rushing end as well. A&M has only offered one in-state linebacker in the class so far, but Wooten is one to watch to possibly receive one. Jimbo Fisher went by his school on Friday. -2020 Cy Creek LB Josh White(Oklahoma State commit): Like Wooten, White is another linebacker prospect that does not have an A&M offer at this point but could be very close to one. Though he is committed to Oklahoma State, the 6-foot-1, 205-pound defender was at LSU this past weekend and is still open to others. He was his district’s Defensive MVP as a junior. -2021 Virginia Beach (Va.) Princess Anne CB Tony Grimes: The five-star prospect from Virginia will actually arrive in town on Monday and spend the whole week in College Station. He did the same thing for a week during the summer as well. -2021 Fort Bend Willowridge WR Latrell Neville: Like with Washington, Neville was unable to make the trip with the Fast team last weekend. The big sophomore wideout once had A&M as the leader, so the Aggies can do their best to get back in that position again. -2021 Mesquite Horn LB Kendrick Blackshire: Linebackers, especially inside ones, are at a huge premium. Blackshire is currently ranked as the country’s top inside linebacker for the 2021 class and will be in College Station for the event. -2021 Denton Ryan DE Ja'tavion Sanders: The two-way standout was just offered by the Aggies last week and will be making his way to College Station on Sunday. Sanders has been as hot as any prospect in the country in picking up offers the past two weeks. -2021 Katy Tompkins DE Tunmise Adeleye: The 6-foot-3, 260-pound sophomore could be in the discussion as the state’s top prospect in the class when all is said and done. A&M was his first offer. Adeleye will be in town no matter and could be riding with a pair of Aggie commits in Smart Chibuzo and Akinola Ogunbiyi. MAYBES -2020 North Shore RB Zachary Evans -2020 North Shore OT Damieon George -2020 Port Neches-Groves OT Jaylen Garth -2020 Cy Ridge DE Vernon Broughton -2020 Fort Bend Marshall CB Avery Helm -2020 Denton Ryan LB/ATH Drew Sanders (Oklahoma commit) -2021 Garland Lakeview Centennial RB Camar Wheaton -2021 North Shore WR/ATH Shadrach Banks 15COMMENTS -2021 North Shore QB Dematrius Davis -2021 Richmond Foster OT Reuben Fatheree

Ryan BrauningerStaff 3:06p North Forest OL Javonne Shepherd has already started his long weekend at Bama and Georgia according to a source near the recruitment. Alabama CB commit Christian Williams still has plans to be in College Station tomorrow for an official visit. Sounds like the ship is quickly sailing with Amite (LA) ATH Devonta Lee. At this point, I do not expect a visit to A&M based on what I was told this afternoon. Bradley Dale Peveto is back in Tennessee to visit with Chris Russell and those around him today -

Taylor Hamm LinkedIn bio From Linkedin: During the 10 years of my professional career in various fields I've acquired an array of skills that are translatable to many different industries. I have a passion for sports which allowed me to be one of the most successful reporters in my industry for close to a decade but equally satisfying has been my experience in sales, specifically the thrill of the close. I love being around and engaging people. Relationship building has been the key to my success at all levels. In fact, I'm a regular speaker at the Houston and Dallas Texas A&M clubs so public speaking and presentations are a passion. My role at GigEm247 challenged me to wear many different hats. Not only was I the director of content but I had to maintain and develop relationships with recruits, parents, coaches and players at all levels and of different demographics. All while managing two reporters, staying on top of breaking news, publishing content 7 days a week, analyzing content data so that our content was reaching as many people as possible, growing our social media presence, daily customer service activities and staying active on the message boards in order to engage subscribers. Meanwhile, because of my entrepreneurial spirit, I decided to pursue a Real-Estate license while running GigEm247. I was successful my first year in the industry farming and building business. In my first year in the industry I sold two homes and held a million dollar listing. Platinum Pools has added to my well-rounded experience in the areas executive level sales training, in-depth CRM training, experience with face-to-face sales presentations, account management, pricing, contact negotiations and deal closing. A&M set for big official visit weekend with dead period over BRIAN PERRONI Texas A&M only has three spots left in the class of 2019 - and that does not include potentially saving room for the two unsigned commits in Braedon Mowry and Josh Ellison. That means the Aggies are going to have to make some decisions over who they target in this next month or so. The dead period is now over and official visits can start again. During the first weekend back, the Aggies will have a quintet of official visitors on campus. Two - five-star Atascocita offensive tackle Kenyon Green and fellow offensive tackle Blake Trainor of Hallsville - are already signed. Green, the state's top-ranked prospect was just not able to take his visit in the fall, so he saved it for now. The same goes with Trainor. Next weekend, fellow offensive line signee Layden Robinson will do the same thing. Green will be see a very familiar face in town with Houston North Forest four-star offensive tackle and Texas commit Javonne Shepherd finally making his official visit to Aggieland. The 6-foot-6, 340-pound unsigned senior is close friends with Green and was close to committing to A&M at one point. The Aggies still have a legitimate shot, but all three of Alabama, Georgia and Texas get visits after A&M. Shepherd does not plan to make a final decision until Signing Day on Feb. 6, but it will be interesting to hear his tone when the weekend is over. Could he potentially cancel the other visits? That is not likely, but A&M can definitely make an impression. Another familiar face to Green will be Amite, La., four-star athlete Devonta Lee. The two got to know each other during the Under Armour All-American week and Green has already done some recruiting. You can bet he will continue to do so this weekend. The 6-foot-2, 212-pound senior is being recruited by A&M as a linebacker. He is also high on in-state LSU, which wants him as a wide receiver. Kentucky is in it as well as he officially visited there in December with teammate and Wildcat quarterback Amani Gilmore. LSU has the edge at the moment and will get the final visit, but this will be Lee's first time to spend an extended period in Aggieland. It will also be a chance for A&M to show him the linebacker depth chart. The fourth visitor is also a linebacker. Christopher Russell from Dyersburg, Tenn., was a longtime Memphis commit before several SEC schools came calling after his senior season. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound inside linebacker has plans to visit A&M this weekend and will follow that up with trips to Auburn, Arkansas and Tennessee. Arkansas was once thought to be his likely destination until the others came calling. Right now, in-state Tennessee looks to have the edge -
