Might’ve missed it but any opinions on Bludorn?
Went last Saturday. Highlights were the Tuna, Risotto, and Wagyu. Ravioli didn't taste as good as it looked. I thought the lobster pot pie was just okay, others really liked it. Oysters were fine. Great drinks.

How many packets would that normally take? 75?

My wife gives me shit for not wanting soups for dinner, but growing up my dad was a classically trained chef so I never thought about stuff like chicken tortilla soup or whatever. I’ve always just thought of soups as appetizers. Over the past few years between the gumbos and ettouffes I’ve realized the error in my ways.
Anyway, my MIL will be in town this weekend so I’ll bet that ettouffee recipe from her. My dad also makes a leek and spinach soup which is the best thing I’ve ever eaten, it’s a shame it’s not in his cookbook but that will be posted in here soon along with some pics after I make it next time.Interested in this.

Love this -
Sparkle burger is pretty good for a cheap burger. On the other end of the spectrum is the burger that Tiny's in West U serves at night.

I haven't bought sauce in a while, but Head Country used to be pretty decent. Comes out of Oklahoma, though.
Head County hot & spicy is real nice.

I normally use cast iron. Used a chimney this time to try it out. Not bad.
