  1. The team UW beat in the Alamo Bowl last year was starting… Keilan Robinson at RB… And had Casey Cain (lol) as it’s leading receiver… Both were ~3rd/4th stringers this year with Casey hitting the portal because he couldn’t get on the field…
  2. The PAC-12 got a ton of credit for “impressive” wins against Texas Tech, Baylor, Michigan State, Florida and Wisconsin in out of conference… Which all ended up being mediocre to terrible teams lol.
  3. Honestly, players at the major programs should receive a cut of the school's TV revenue instead of NIL donations from private sources... I doubt big money donors have the stamina to keep up the endless stream of NIL contributions. And asking the average fan to fund the roster's payroll is absurd when the program makes 100s of millions a year.
  4. Murphy is still so raw and developmental -- Texas found ways to win in spite of his turnovers... I doubt coaches at the bigger P5 programs want to drop a massive NIL QB bag on him when there are other options with a higher floor...
  5. Ketch -- what's the back story behind your Twitter avatar? It's fucking weird.
  6. And LSU in year 3 of Brian Kelly is coming off the exposure of a Heisman winner… And OU is coming into the SEC with the momentum of a 10 win season (even if their schedule was fraudulent)… And Bama/UGA will continue to cherry-pick whoever Texas/LSU/OU don’t snag… Aggy is not well-positioned in the recruiting landscape rn.
  7. Aggy always operates under the assumption that they will be the only team who improves year-over-year. In their delusion, they’re convinced next year’s schedule is easy but: ND is one of the top programs in CFB history. @Florida in the swamp is never easy (even if it is Napier). Drinkwitz has a good thing going at Mizzou. @USCe and @MSU aren’t a sure thing… LSU beats them ~8 times out of 10. @Auburn will be tough facing Hugh Freeze in year 2… Texas beats them ~8 times out of 10 historically and is coming off a CFP berth…
  8. This could easily be the oldest trick in the Texags mod book: tell the sheep that “Texas is pushing really hard”, and then sell it as a big win when the recruit stays put.
  9. Cecil Cherry, DeAndre McNeal, the "Florida 5", and Devonaire Clarington really got the fanbase's juices flowing.
  10. I certainly hope that's the case... Sark didn't have an issue playing Murphy during the Big 12 championship... I have way more faith in Arch's ability to avoid pressure and turnovers.
  11. Eric trying to compete with Bobby on Youtube isn't gonna go well for him lol.
  12. Nahlin's stupidity is truly staggering... The Longhorns are a game away from playing for a national title with a level of hype and media attention the team hasn't enjoyed in ~15 years... His business was getting ready to boom, but he sabotages his relationships with Bobby / Gerry instead (the only 2x personalities people subscribe to listen to)... Hope that Bobby / Gerry build an empire and IT becomes a ghost town.
  13. Just bought 4x Sugar Bowl tickets through Stubhub... Stubhub says the tickets won't be available/transferred until the day before the event (12/31) -- is that typical? Or should I be worried...
  14. Bobby & Gerry >>>> Nahlin IT is about to death spiral without them.
  15. If Ryan Watts would've wrapped up Bryce Young in '22, Casey Cain's catch to set up the game winning field goal would be considered an all-timer... Game of inches... Best of luck to him!
  16. They’re celebrating Klein… But there’s no way Weigman and Stewart stick around to play in the K State power run offense, right?
  17. Honestly, I feel like most of the country forgets UW exists. Oregon at least has the Nike/Phil Knight angle — lucky the BIG agreed to take y’all as a package deal. I’m excited for Husky fans to experience Texas football when we have something to play for and don’t have 3 NFL draft picks opting out.
  18. PK was DC on a UW team that played in the CFP semis. How was that failure lol?
  19. Washington's a great team, but their SOR at #1 is a complete red herring. It's based entirely on the premise that the PAC was solid competition this year... Traditionally, their OOC opponents would've been decently strong... But it gets really ugly if you look into it further: -Washington beat Mel Tucker's 4-8 Michigan State (congrats) -Oregon beat 6-6 "dark horse" Texas Tech by 8 on a last-minute pick six (lol) -"#14" Arizona lost to a Zach Arnett led 5-7 Mississippi State (lol) -Cal lost at home to a 6-6 Auburn team who got mudholed by New Mexico State (lol) -Arizona State lost to OSU at home by 12 when Gundy was still rotating QBs (lol) -Utah beat 5-7 Florida at home by 13 and 3-9 Baylor due to a controversial PI no call -Wazzu beat a 7-5 Wisconsin squad who was breaking in a new coach -Colorado beat 5-7 TCU by 3 with healthy Shadeur / Hunter and before Deion had put anything on film -USC lost by 28 and Stanford lost by 33 to 9-3 Notre Dame
  20. Sark mentioned that Watts will be healthy and Austin Jordan is a maybe… What about Catalon? Or has he essentially medically retired? It’d be massive to have him for the CFP…
  21. I'm still confused about them hiring a defense-oriented HC... When the offense has been their main limitation...
  22. This. I have never interacted with a more over confident fanbase than Georgia in '18.
  23. Texas is extremely well-positioned -- couldn't ask for a more fortuitous set up... UW is solid and the best passing threat we'll face, but they'll be traveling ~2,500 miles to face what'll be an overwhelmingly pro-Texas crowd in the Superdome... The winner of Michigan / Bama would then have to face Texas 7 days after their semi in Pasadena in Houston (our backyard)... With the 12 team playoff introducing more variables, this is likely the best shot we will have at a title...
  24. Same here. Unbelievable that the ticket brokers are allowed to do this.
  25. It feels like Sark’s $5M/yr is about to turn into $9-10M/yr.
