Missouri did. aggy still can't get over that hump.
Also, did aggy not see a Big 12 team kick the shit out of their SEC nemesis last night?

The score of this game has no bearing on the fact that the ACC is a terrible fucking football conference.
Indeed. I attended 5 or 6 ACC football games this season, and the level of competition is MUCH lower than the Big 12, BIG, and SEC. With the obvious exception of Clemson (they have some top-end athletes on D).

I just wish that Card would’ve been given the chance to jumpstart the offense against OSU and TCU… Oh well. Hope he kills it at Purdue.

Probably this. Elko should be in no hurry. Just keep winning 8-9 games a year/knock off UNC every couple years and they’ll bronze him at Duke.
Hell — if Elko consistently wins 8-9 games a year at Duke, they’ll re-name the stadium after him. Cutcliffe had 2013-2015 but never really achieved sustained success.

UNC has a pretty nice stadium to watch a game.
This year I had two awesome BLTs before the Pitt game at UNC. Fantastic stadium food.
You need to try Merritt’s in Chapel Hill next time — famous for its BLTs.

Is Lane trying to tank for a 1st round pick?!
-
9 wins would be a pretty unbelievable start for Elko. Riley Leonard is legit.

Cain had some blunders, but he’s only a RS Freshman and had that clutch catch over the middle against Bama in the 4th. If we’re patient (yeah right), I bet he’ll develop into a pretty serviceable receiving threat.

Super. Who did Freeze flip from Bama and Georgia?
Well, I don’t think that’s a very realistic expectation for a new coach’s transition class…

His highlights are underwhelming. A lot of him Mossing some 5'6" DII defensive backs, but not many of him actually getting separation and getting open. He does have some pretty spectacular catches so the hands might be really good.
He’s gotten offers from ~10 other D1 programs (not just aggy). So coaches must be seeing some potential at the next level. But agreed, he’ll struggle to get separation against faster, lengthy DBs.

How is he ever going to grip the ball in those big 10 venues in November. Dude should have looked ACC.
In all seriousness, I feel like NC State (losing O’ Leary), Wake Forest (losing Hartman), and UVA (losing Armstrong) would’ve been good options. And more of a culture fit to a kid from Lake Travis than the frozen tundra of the BIG.

At this point, I’d bet almost anything that aggy hires an assistant from a CFP playoff team. They won’t be able to pull away one of the OCs, so they’ll pay ~$2 mil/year for a young position group coach (receivers coach, OL coach, etc.). That way, Jimbo can retain control and still change the narrative.
Luicci: “I told y’all to be patient — Jimbo had to wait for the semis to end, but he got his guy. My sources say that Coach _______ had an outsized impact on TCU’s scheme and was key to Duggan’s development. With Coach _______ on staff, expect for Weigman to make a similar jump in Year 2.”

Flight back to the east coast got cancelled and stranded in DFW… First opportunity to re-book on Southwest is for New Years Eve…
What a shit show.

No it isn’t. They suspended their full-time program a few years ago and only offer weekend, exec and online modalities now.
Go back to sleep.
So what you’re saying is:
Hudson Card ain’t here to play (business) school

Lol Keontay Ingram fumbling in a crucial moment… Looks familiar.

Aggy is still upset about Lane calling their player a bitch. But in his defense, Bryce Anderson WAS being a bitch.

I'm a sucker for Guillermo del Toro movies, so I thought Pan's Labyrinth was pretty fucking good
Agreed wholeheartedly on “Pan’s Labyrinth”.
Under Technical achievements, I would add “The Fall” by Tarsem Singh.
Under Sci Fi, “Arrival”, “Ex Machina”, and “Sunshine” are top notch.

Agree. We're just ceding the 20xx national championship to aggy by ignoring all the productive D1 talent in the portal.
Well, quite a few quality WR from D1 programs have entered the portal — it’s by far the deepest availability of any position… But whatever.

These things aren't mutually exclusive.
Fair. Nahlin said yesterday there were two portal slots for WR. I’m hoping this is separate and that’s still the case.-

Meh. I’d trade Moore for a portal receiver with D1 production in an instant.

Ok, here’s a counterpoint on this potential hire.
Texas has watched that damn OU offense put major points on the board since 2000. All that time, Texas never went out and copied it.
Even though people claimed the OU offense wasn’t robust enough to win a title post-2000, it’s really been the defense that has always been the major flaw to OU’s success.
Maybe this guy allows them to steal that offense.
Hmm, I could be wrong, but I doubt college football’s offensive wunderkinds (Riley, Kiffin, Sark, etc) divulge the intricacies of their system to the entire staff. Plus, even if an assistant stole the full playbook, they probably wouldn’t be able to replicate it successfully. A lot of the value a guy like Lincoln Riley provides is in game planning, situational play calling and adapting the scheme year-over-year.

Win or lose, I’m confident that we’ll perform mental gymnastics and extrapolate — convincing ourselves over the course of an off-season that 10 wins is a lock in ‘23.
