  1. Just bought 4x Sugar Bowl tickets through Stubhub... Stubhub says the tickets won't be available/transferred until the day before the event (12/31) -- is that typical? Or should I be worried...
  2. Bobby & Gerry >>>> Nahlin IT is about to death spiral without them.
  3. If Ryan Watts would've wrapped up Bryce Young in '22, Casey Cain's catch to set up the game winning field goal would be considered an all-timer... Game of inches... Best of luck to him!
  4. They’re celebrating Klein… But there’s no way Weigman and Stewart stick around to play in the K State power run offense, right?
  5. Honestly, I feel like most of the country forgets UW exists. Oregon at least has the Nike/Phil Knight angle — lucky the BIG agreed to take y’all as a package deal. I’m excited for Husky fans to experience Texas football when we have something to play for and don’t have 3 NFL draft picks opting out.
  6. PK was DC on a UW team that played in the CFP semis. How was that failure lol?
  7. Washington's a great team, but their SOR at #1 is a complete red herring. It's based entirely on the premise that the PAC was solid competition this year... Traditionally, their OOC opponents would've been decently strong... But it gets really ugly if you look into it further: -Washington beat Mel Tucker's 4-8 Michigan State (congrats) -Oregon beat 6-6 "dark horse" Texas Tech by 8 on a last-minute pick six (lol) -"#14" Arizona lost to a Zach Arnett led 5-7 Mississippi State (lol) -Cal lost at home to a 6-6 Auburn team who got mudholed by New Mexico State (lol) -Arizona State lost to OSU at home by 12 when Gundy was still rotating QBs (lol) -Utah beat 5-7 Florida at home by 13 and 3-9 Baylor due to a controversial PI no call -Wazzu beat a 7-5 Wisconsin squad who was breaking in a new coach -Colorado beat 5-7 TCU by 3 with healthy Shadeur / Hunter and before Deion had put anything on film -USC lost by 28 and Stanford lost by 33 to 9-3 Notre Dame
  8. Sark mentioned that Watts will be healthy and Austin Jordan is a maybe… What about Catalon? Or has he essentially medically retired? It’d be massive to have him for the CFP…
  9. I'm still confused about them hiring a defense-oriented HC... When the offense has been their main limitation...
  10. This. I have never interacted with a more over confident fanbase than Georgia in '18.
  11. Texas is extremely well-positioned -- couldn't ask for a more fortuitous set up... UW is solid and the best passing threat we'll face, but they'll be traveling ~2,500 miles to face what'll be an overwhelmingly pro-Texas crowd in the Superdome... The winner of Michigan / Bama would then have to face Texas 7 days after their semi in Pasadena in Houston (our backyard)... With the 12 team playoff introducing more variables, this is likely the best shot we will have at a title...
  12. Same here. Unbelievable that the ticket brokers are allowed to do this.
  13. It feels like Sark’s $5M/yr is about to turn into $9-10M/yr.
  14. The contrast in Sark’s 1st half creativity vs. 2nd half play-calling is so outrageous.
  15. A Texas team with 0 opt outs would beat UW by 2 scores…
  16. Oregon is college football’s biggest fraud this year. They will 100% be exposed in a semi-final in the form of an ass beating.
  17. FSU got to 12-0 by beating a subpar LSU team and then outclassing shitty to mediocre ACC competition… Louisville will probably roll over for them. And then FSU will lose by ~40 in the semis.
  18. Please, please bring Kevin Johns as OC... His offense relies pretty heavily on the QB run -- straight into the teeth of SEC front 7s... Kevin Johns + A&M's offensive line = 3rd string QB playing by week 6.
  19. Gordon had 38 touches against BYU… And 30 touches against Houston… That isn’t a sustainable workload — especially against this TX defense… Bowman will probably have 30-40 pass attempts, so Gundy will need him to magically overcome the turnover bug overnight.
  20. Ha, you must not follow Duke sports closely… The entire campus rallied behind Elko and the football team (see UNC last year or Notre Dame this year). In the rare times when Duke football is winning, they have a small but avid fanbase. Duke’s AD fully understands that making football competitive is the #1 priority. Duke Bball is obviously huge, but football is the main revenue driver (and expense) in college athletics. And Duke doesn’t want to get left behind in the next round of re-alignment…
  21. LSU at #14 is absurd and only serves to prop up the shit sandwich that is the SEC this year.
  22. Frogs with the come back! 2 TD game
  23. Oklahoma didn’t have to gameplan for their first ~5 opponents. RRS was their Super Bowl (they made T-shirts remember).
  24. Hooray for us, I guess. Florida has won 2 titles in the 2000s (‘06 and ‘08). Texas has won 1 and played for another (‘05 and ‘09). Both programs have churned through coaches since then… I know you’d like to believe we’re special, but in the modern era, UF has achieved a similar level of success…
  25. Lol. You do realize that UF is almost identical to Texas right? Won a championship in ‘08 but have struggled since… They’ll eventually be a marquee matchup again — it’s all cyclical.
