  1. Is that the battle that took place in complete darkness? Yeah, that was a clusterfuck.
  2. He can't catch it. He's more machine now than man. Twisted and evil.
  3. Wow. Just perfect. Meanwhile, a postal worker in Seattle has tested positive. NYPost Link
  4. I think people don't like your numbers because they're unattributed.
  5. Took a little walk down memory lane this morning to read about the 2009 H1N1 pandemic. Based on how people are reacting to corona and comparing the numbers, I can't help but wonder how we didn't all completely lose our minds and go running for the hills while that was going on. 59million caught it. 265,000 were hospitalized for it. 12,000 deaths from it. There were over 1,000 dead in the US before the government even issued an emergency declaration. 2009 flu pandemic in the United States I can't help but wonder how that would have all gone down if social media was as omnipresent then as it is now. (And yes, I know Twitter etc. existed back then, but it wasn't nearly as widespread.)
  6. Do you have any kind of link or is this like Junior's friend in Arlington?
  7. It's more than a little amusing how pissed off some of you are getting when some piece of uncorroborated info you heard is contradicted by some other piece of uncorroborated info.
  8. Another good one that I linked yesterday in case anyone missed it. Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases by Johns Hopkins CSSE

  10. Well, members of the Iranian government are keeling over during press conferences, so I'd say that qualifies as toe up.
  11. Yep, got cloaky in here. I regret my part in it. I've become what I despised.
  12. Correct. I'm not disputing that. I was pointing out that those cuts were spawned years ago, under the previous administration. This line of conversation began with my reply to someone I believed to be suggesting otherwise.
  13. You shouldn't put quotes around your interpretation of what he said as if it's a direct quote of what he said. Link to 2:14 video.
  14. Same AP article that clarifies CDC funding thing. "Some public health experts say a bigger concern than White House budgets is the steady erosion of a CDC grant program for state and local public health emergency preparedness — the front lines in detecting and battling new disease. But that decline was set in motion by a congressional budget measure that predates Trump."
  15. Found it. Been a while since I heard his voice, he's sounding more old manish now.
  16. If it's a direct quote, no it is not. When and where did he say this?
