  1. That's like setting your house on fire and giving the Fire Dept a high five for putting out the fire so fast. It's your damn fault the house was on fire. We shouldn't of even had to do that large scale of an evacuation in such a short time frame. It's a product of the disastrous plan. Enjoy the hostage videos to come BTW because we still left a lot of people.
  2. LOL I'm sure the majority left leaning syphocants like yourself in this group can't wait. It's why I don't post in here. I had a momentary lapse in judgment.
  3. The withdrawal was really fucked up and is solely on Biden. He had the opportunity to get it right with a coherent plan. He also ignored intelligence reports about how fast the country could fall. Also, you have to always plan for the worst. He did not. There are some simple tenants in a withdrawal and one of the 1st is you don't withdraw forces before human assets are removed and destroying of hardware you don't want falling into enemy hands. It's indefensible. It's a completely separate discussion of how we stayed there 20 yrs and had multiple presidents do their best to screw up the original mission and turn it to nation building exercise. Don't mix the 2. Both are horrible fuck ups but separate in nature.
  4. Well, when you have the TALIBAN protecting your back you may have planned poorly and bad shit is going to happen.
  5. LOL he took it on the chin because he completely fucked up the pull out. You're making it a false choice. Either stay and this doesn't happen or it has to be like this. It could've been get citizens and Afghan allies out then pull out troops and shut down shop. No kudos should be given for the way this was done. Biden and his leadership couldn't of fucked this up more.
  6. That's not exactly fair. We are putting some town's team that's the best of all the other town's team whereas most of these countries just collect the best kids in the country. Could you imagine what type of team the US could field if we could put the best 15 kids in 1 team?
  7. Normally the teams below 15U are subsidizing the A team 15U+ teams to pay for coaches and go to tourneys all over the country. I also am not saying it still isn't worth it if you want your son to compete against the best. Also, there are good dad coaches. I've seen it. I've also seen very bad. My oldest son started travel ball at 9 and my youngest is now 10 and still in little league because he doesn't have as much interest or drive as big bro which is fine. There is a place for all which I think is great. LL is incredibly watered down compared to I'd guess 20 yrs ago before travel went insane.
  8. OK, I gotta brag on my 15 yr old son because this was so awesome. Last week in GA at PG WWBA National Championships which is the biggest collection of the most badass 300 teams in the country he did something super special. Last game of pool play. Tied 2-2 w/ 2 outs in the 4th. Win you're in bracket play lose you're not. He jacks a 3R bomb over the fucking scoreboard with a wood bat. 330' down the line and 400' to center. This ball was touched I'd guess 370'. Not bad for a 15 yr old freshman.
  9. I won't ever chant sec sec like aggy but I will thoroughly enjoy it for 1 reason. It's all aggy had and now it will be gone. Horns yet again screwing aggy. Texags is in full meltdown. That makes me know this could be the right move.
  10. Dad, one day I'm going to be a star in the PFL.
  11. Dang, that's impressive. Must have said something conservative and likely supporting Trump. Huge mistake.
  12. Japanese omelette skillet this AM. This is the only way I will cook an omelette now. Light and fluffy with layers almost like a wrap.
  13. He has ruined all the restaurants and bars so where does he get kudos?
  14. Here is my fantastic midweek fish I cook that's super easy and cheap. I buy 4 filets for around $10. Blackened Cajun Tilapia. I cook it in a cast iron medium high heat with 2 tbsp butter. 2-3 mins each side depending on thickness. Fantastic everytime. I mean phenomenal and great for keto diets or fish tacos if you're not doing keto. Use a little lemon to squeeze on top. It's light and fluffy still moist with some bite and that charred taste. You do it right which is hard to mess up better than any fish you will get from a 5 Star restaurant. 1 tbsp paprika 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp dried thyme 1 tsp dry mustard 3/4 tsp salt (table salt) 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste) Good grind of black pepper
  15. my dad drives a Lexus SUV he is pretty awesome.
  16. Oh and I think this will piss y'all off with a $20 steak but after seasoning I take a meat mallet and lightly pound the seasoning into the meat. I also dry off both sides of the steak with a paper towel before I drop on high heat skillet.
  17. My 1st post in this group. I hope y'all approve. It was the best I've done. Bachelor weekend with my son and I as mom and 2 others are away at a Vball tourney and older son had HS baseball game. Please excuse how my 15 yr old still cuts a steak up before he eats it. 2 Delmonicos I bought. Brought to room temp for 4 hours. Seared both sides on cast iron for 2 mins each. Threw chunk of butter on each then in oven until 136 internal. Still a McCormicks fan so that's the seasoning. Top 2 steaks I've ever made. Delmonico is still I think the best steak.
  18. I am not sure CDC has proven himself to be out in front of things in anything yet.
