  1. Moderate Cat 1. Slightly weaker than Beryl. Book it.
  2. Texas - 27 Meatchicken - 20 We kick a FG on our first offensive possession to tie the game/Michigan ties it up on a FG. We take the lead on the third possession on 3rd and goal and never give it back.
  3. Entirely possible he wants to lose that bet. As much as his wife does.
  4. Sous vide Asian pork chop some crispy smashed potatoes and a simple wedge salad. Sometimes the easy stuff is delicious too.
  5. The other one damn well better be Mr. Ryed
  6. Braised short rib gremolata with smashed balsamic herb crispy potatoes and arugula parmesan lemon vinaigrette salad.
  7. Oh. Thought that was the RSQ8
  8. Not with that monster fire breather you won’t.
  9. Young MGP rye is the tits
  10. That’s a fair fucking comment. But I love Beam black and WT on the daily
  11. WT is always on my shelf. Even a handle of 101 is a nice sipper.
  12. I’m not a huge finished guy. And most of their stuff is. But the single barrel MGP picks have been consistently good. Have an 8 (TW) and 6 (specs) year open and both are fantastic. The 8 has some coconut notes on the finish. There are so many out there I can’t recommend one specifically. Just have to try them on and decide. And that they are single barrel, obviously will vary greatly.
  13. Just look at the small print on all the bottles on the shelf - “distilled in Indiana” and start tasting them until you find your favorite.
  14. Remus is their own brand and is on almost all shelves. Nulu SiB is great stuff and at TW and other retailers. Then there’s tons of MGP blended/finished options. expect to pay around $10/year of age for MGP.
  15. I’ve had 5 yr MGP that kicks the asses of bourbon twice as old. Beam will never distill Bookers past 8-8.5 years old. 12-15 yr wild turkey can be sublime. I’ve had 23 yr Willett that I want to bathe in and 21 year HH that was overoaked wood toast and vice versa There simply isn’t a sweet spot.
  16. It’s not great. But that wasn’t the point.
  17. 10 years is most definitely not the sweet spot for all bourbons. There is no such thing as an age sweet spot in application to any liquor. Ever try a 10 year Still Austin?
  18. I hope they find this to be true and burn it to the ground.
  19. Ernesto is bound for Brownsville/Mexico. It’s in the name. Unless he’s planning to trim Houston’s trees and cut the lawn.
