  1. Then good on ya. I have track mode in my other truck not built for towing if ya wanna try to kick my ass then. 🙂
  2. I’m also hoping for all that is holy that you didn’t buy a truck for drag racing.
  3. Sounds good. Let’s try it!
  4. Fucking awesome. Good on Toyota.
  5. Look. Motortrend (and their ilk) performed highly instrumented and controlled tests on both and surmised that the Raptor is 5.1-5.3 and the RO eco boost is 5.6-5.7. Both are very fast. Both are faster than many sports/sporty cars. But the Raptor isn’t built for drag racing. It’s built for much more. So, let’s agree that these turbo trucks are fast and very compelling. But very different in their build for purpose, assuming you plan to drive them to their potential as intended.
  6. See post above
  7. There have been a few tests in the real world where the SO of the 150 actually beat the HO Raptor off the line. Raptor is heavy as shit.
  8. Or get the 2019 limited with the same engine and all the luxury!
  9. Well, not exactly. But it’s still no slouch for sure.
  10. Like GB above, I had a TRD Pro before getting my Raptor. The driving experience aside (it’s very very different), I often found the little things missing on the TRD Pro (like memory seats) bothered me. It was like they took away all the best features of the Platinum and replaced them with more rugged off-road bits and styling. Why not both? There’s certainly a place for both in the competitive high end truck world. Now back to driving, the crisp tight steering and power band of that turbo 6 in the Raptor is money. As is the handling on and off road. It is in another category for sure. But you certainly pay for that. No doubt about it. I justified the extra with the insane resale values of the Raptor. That said, I was offered $42,000 for my three year old TRD Pro with 34k miles on it. So the Tundra certainly holds its value very well indeed.
  11. Thanks for your service
  12. Champing, you mean.
  13. Yes, yes in fact you did. And did so generally. It votes democratic. So it isn’t shitty, according to you.
  14. I grew up in Harlingen and spent a lot of time in the RGV. Not sure what you are implying about it’s wonderment, but you have mischaracterized.
  15. So you are calling Texas people, not areas shitty. Because that would otherwise mean you are calling border towns great and Galveston shitty.
  16. Don’t they hand the elder a spear and send him off into the brush to pass in peace?
  17. Lookin’ good. Glad it worked!
  18. I suppose it is excusable given how long we have sucked, but the general lack of any energy - certainly any consistent energy - from our fans is still surprising nonetheless. So damn quiet for so much of the game. Oh well. Hope we are relevant again next year and the fans have something to cheer about. I envy teams that have a fired up fan base and a stadium that rocks. So much more fun to experience. I might as well just watch on TV.
  19. Amen
  20. Bellaire under tornado warning. Greeeeat
  21. Tornado warning. One spotted in SugarLand.
  22. Yup. Me too. 12 ga on a dove is like using a chainsaw to carve a turkey. I switch b/w a 20 and 410.
  23. Got my money on my mind and my mind in the ground
  24. Looks like a chastity device
