  1. I’m down to read it even if only to pass the time
  2. Kellen Diesch (although he played three seasons for the aggies), Johnny Wilson, LV Bunkley-Shelton, Merlin Robertson
  3. Do you recall an instance where there was a pandemic lockdown that prevented recruits from taking visits to schools/staff and a resulting re-evaluation of decisions by recruits as that lockdown was relaxed? Because I don’t.
  4. He turns his head to locate the ball. Maybe he could teach our DBs a thing or two.
  5. Based on the stats from 247 (lines up with MaxPreps too), he is averaging 14 carries per game and one reception. 15 touches per game for a HS RB is not crazy (particularly for being one of the main playmakers on his team’s offense). If you’re Sark and you see this, you have to see this as a red flag. He argued with a coach he’s known for a couple of years now and he dropped out of his senior season? I mean I played on a Plano team (and we totally sucked) and everyone had more team spirit than this. If you quit on your team in HS, it’s almost like quitting on a father figure (in your HC) and your brothers on the team. One argument with people who’ve helped you grow and develop as a young man and you give up on them? He will probably face even worse adversity in college and the league. What’s he going to do then?
  6. While I’m not a badass robot, here’s my two cents: Digital currencies-wise, this is a tough market because shitcoins like Dogecoin selling off are pressuring a lot of retail investors to dump crypto. However, both Ethereum and Bitcoin have a pretty high probability of having adoption-driven catalysts (ex. digital wallet acceptance, merchant acquired acceptance, Xyz retail company accepting etc.) over the next six months. Given that Ethereum also has higher financial institution support, it’s probably a better bet of the two. In regards to Ford, they are having significant supply chain issues from semi-conductor shortages (which they decided was a good reason to shut down an entire factory - which makes sense given the fixed cost is probably not offset by spare parts production). The last time I met with their management, they said 3Q21 is probably when they expect resolution so I figure September at the latest, July at the earliest.
  7. Lol. Considering I have to take billions of dollars worth of risk on positions in different companies’ stocks on a daily basis for my job, I assure you I’ve taken more risk than you have and far more frequently. I never said one posting style is better than another - I just said you go on long rants that have very little substance in them given that the point is generally sandwiched between 90 tons of horseshit. People like the information you bring. It has value. I also like this information and value it. Your opinions are average at best and I’ve never seen you actually conduct real analysis that adds value outside of stating your opinion in as forceful a manner as possible and expecting people to fold over. I’m sure this tactic works when you have people jerking you off for the aforementioned information you drop off from time to time.
  8. Lol if you believe pessimism on the football forum, we’re actually playing for his recruitment when we play them.
  9. Hey man, I’m just firing back after he tried to go after me. Thought that was in the spirit of the board.
  10. What’s the rationale for him taking what seems like a demotion? I know people have mentioned in the past that he wanted to move over to the coaching side but given he already has a QC role and the NFL paycut, maybe he’s using it to get a raise?
  11. You proved my point. Another shitty, ranty post (and, yes, asymmetrically longer than any response I’ve given you). At the end of the day, you’re a middle aged man trying to get kicks out of bullying someone over the internet on a university-related lifestyle forum - I’m not sure I’m the one who’s out here hunting for validation. Haha you’re the one who started this off-topic discussion after I made an offhand joke. Clearly this is a waste of time so this’ll be the last time I respond to this or joke about you since you clearly can’t handle it.
  12. Sorry, sir, I’m new here. I’ll change my ways immediately. I was told to never go near the CR and I have followed that advice.
  13. Lol. Congrats on dodging every part of the post that pointed out your overreaction and clinging to a thread you thought you could refute. Strong move. I don’t think I’ve ever used profanity towards someone on this site, ranted at them, or been disrespectful. Your post history is littered with this.
  14. Is that really a technicality or just a very significant constraint that would require likely university board approval to change? I’m happy to wait as well, and definitely will be fun to see someone dig it up in a few years - I didn’t say you had to write this letter this very second, just that I was waiting (since the likelihood of you being wrong is pretty high). And I agree with you, I think composing something like that would be pretty fun and I don’t think I implied otherwise. Haha I find your need to respond to anyone who disagrees with you by demeaning them and using profanity in some lengthy and verbose rant to be a bigger indicator of insecurity than anything I’ve done.
  15. Lol I’m still waiting for your letter to FuckFace from the transfer deadline bet. Given that nearly every D1 school either has exams in April or in the first week of May, don’t see them moving spring practice past the deadline (considering you have to have a one week dead period before exams).
  16. This roster strategy is probably a lot more palatable in the transfer portal era given that roster holes could actually attract transfer talent (as long as you have the coaching/recruiting staff to pull them in).
  17. Tbh, he’s basically become a Surly-fied version of Ian Boyd
  18. Anyone have tips for building a Pergola? We’re moving to an apartment in NYC with a big terrace (has tiles but concrete under the tiles and landlord has approved it). I want to get this thing up before the summer/rooftop season starts. I was thinking of either 4x4 or 6x6 posts for the support beams, 2x6s for the cross beams and then 2x6s or 2x4s for the rafters. Was gonna use some steel wire and hooks to make a makeshift retractable canopy too. Just not sure where to start in terms of securing the posts to the foundation - have thought about pouring concrete into 5 gallon buckets and putting the posts in there or using anchors. If y’all have any general tips as well, would really appreciate them. Thanks.
  19. Damn. RIP Jake. Prayers for their family.
  20. Lol if Roach ever changes his tone on Ewers, we might as well assume he’s in the class
  21. I’m still waiting for the letter to fuckface since we established you can’t move spring ball into May
