  1. LBJ is the last guy to be worried about in the context of the entire staff, but he’s certainly not throwing like the ace we thought we had. Some sizable regression from last year.
  2. Just have to accept that even Boehm is going to be hot and cold. LBJ had a good stat line, but he has to be able to extend through the 8th pretty much every Friday for the rest of the year
  3. Good stuff KS. Still think the aggressive base running makes sense. Surprised we waited this long to be attacked on the bases
  4. All 4 runners standing on 1st have reached 2nd without another batter moving them over
  5. That was just a strike to Gaspo, blue
  6. Way to get out of it on a 3 ball count. Come on now sticks
  7. 3 straight innings of a walk on a spiked fastball advancing to 2nd
  8. Walks with KS behind the plate are basically doubles too
  9. LBJ bb/ip are up from about .43 last year to .65 this year. Excludes the rise in hbp too. The fb location has been really poor too often
  10. I’m curious if Pierce will keep it once Galvan’s thumb heals. Borba, Sanders, and Co aren’t really making his decision all that difficult at this point Free Dee
  11. The double switch ups were a magic touch. Love it
  12. Boehm with a season altering 12 out save. PB is back. Max coming good on his summer league hype. Lot to like this weekend. Arms will have less pressure in adult-sized parks the rest of the year
  13. They go lefty and we leave O’Corn in. Scandalous coaching
  14. Smart. Get Jack up with none out in the 9th now
  15. Out. Thanks for the slide
  16. Malpractice is a pitcher throws Galvan anything but breaking stuff
  17. Does it get more gen z than Trendan vs Kimble?
  18. Was wondering if that was Brandon Nakashima’s brother, but the close up left little doubt. Nice one Cleeve! What a start
  19. O’Dowd should be the guy losing out even without storm. Go look at the Duke 2023 stats and filter out non-conference. The assumption he was going to be a difference maker was pretty rosy to begin with
  20. About how I thought the series would go, though expectations always rise with a Friday win. Galvan and KS in the lineup was a nice revelation. I don’t even know if Storm would’ve had a spot in this lineup if Pierce would give Dee ABs
  21. 2 years of SEC Gaspo. Almost too good to believe
  22. We’re leaving the fastest guy on the team with a great walk rate on the bench for that
  23. 1.2 innings in Houston and maybe he gets through 1 today. How is it possible to be 6’8 and have no stuff?
