  1. Dre or Minchey was about it for Pierce there. Losing Burke, Tole, and Shaw is just too much. Hurley, Ace, and Zane have to find 9 somehow
  2. Is this the best we’ve competed against a truly good arm in the last 3 years? Maybe Tenn threw someone good out of the losers bracket in 2021. The approach just isn’t ever good enough. Nothing in Arlington this year, nothing vs Watts-Brown, nothing in Omaha last year, nothing vs Horton in Arlington, nothing vs Burns in Houston, nothing vs Bednar in Omaha, nothing in Arlington 2021
  3. Difference is, if Matthews steps off again in an AB it’s a ball. Sthele can step off 100x if he throws over
  4. Pierce can’t go with Witt against this lineup
  5. Confirmed ESPN2 https://twitter.com/gatorsbb/status/1667641956779053058?s=46&t=AgP00fVqSkV0LQyn9dA1ZQ
  6. Anyone see what ESPN is going to do with our game? UF SCar getting pushed back into our window on ESPN2
  7. Pierce was already strong out west, but that doesn’t hurt either. Maybe Rodriguez gets more of these guys to stick on the roster, 5 in this next class
  8. Chuck’s getting 4 outs every inning now
  9. The 2022 offensive class of Thomas, Flores, Galvan, Duplantier, Beyleu is going to be fantastic. Just don’t look at the arms
  10. 1-2-3 top and 9 straight reach and all 9 score in the bottom. I can’t remember a better single inning ever
  11. Gallo gets a free strike every AB and is still getting shelled
  12. Pedal stays down
  13. Come on Jack
  14. 3 runs saved by the wind now
  15. Has to be Zane. The misses are bad and even the outs have been loud.
  16. Just remembered Pierce got LBJ's commit a month before he showed up on campus. Quite the recruiting and developing job there
  17. https://miamihurricanes.com/roster/andrew-walters/ 49 pitches today was his second longest outing of the year (51). He went 28,14,13 in consecutive days last week
  18. No help against Arky, OU, SJSU, KU (neutral). 13 or 14 quality starts out of 16. I can’t pin down why he isn’t more appreciated, especially considering he filled in wonderfully on a Friday spot that he wasn’t supposed to be in his career path, if not for the Witt injury. He doesn’t have power stuff, but neither did other recent more heralded guys. He doesn’t really have any starts you can point back to as major marquee wins besides WV this year, if you want to count that. TCU and ECU last year went to the relievers. A&M game hurts a lot
  19. Glad he was wrong and we didn’t roll over on this one
  20. Slater suggesting Arky got Holland. Figured our release of him meant he was G League bound. Can’t believe we had 0 ammo against them when everyone in the world knew they were recruiting a signed high schooler
  21. Those early 2010s teams were doing a lot more than halfback dive. Go watch the highlights of the championship game they hung 70 on Pelini. He had a 9 OL wildcat formation. Now that was him 10 years ago, creativity seems to be gone from him now, but these analyst hires always feel like only upside.
  22. Happened last year, but TCU's rpi was about 10 worse than ours this year. Big 12 RPI is about the same as last year, but there's also a million SEC teams that will eat up regionals this year. We'll see how the committee values finishing 5th in the ACC or 7th in the SEC vs winning the Big 12
  23. Was hoping Thomas could do some whispering in JJ's ear this weekend, but he didn't spend any time on base
  24. Bring out the trophy
