  1. Connor Williams-y. 6’3ish 270. Who cares if he’s an NFL guard? Williams had elite athleticism in the pass game and blocked for a 2k rusher
  2. More specifically: In order to gain immediate eligibility, a student-athlete will need to declare his or her intent to transfer by February 1 for Fall sports, May 1 for Winter sports and July 1 for Spring sports.
  3. Applies to the spring window only Bond didn’t have to sit for us. Spence won’t have to sit. We have an intra-SEC baseball transfer
  4. Transfers have until Jan 29th to enroll and add classes. Plenty of time to poke at OSU and ND guys. Putting the squeeze on Tate when Hartline leaves for an OC gig would be fun
  5. ~$30m. Just signed an extension with mega buyout
  6. Cracks me up that these 11th hour decisions aren’t due to indecision, negotiations, or anything else, but simply because they’re waiting for a video editor to finish
  7. How could anyone be sure they donated??My eyesight is poor though, if they have any public naming rights it would help to increase the font size or put it in a more prominent location
  8. The 7 concept has legs, though it’s a bit presumptuous of Huff to push it
  9. Seemingly would include Derek Williams, Baker, Tyanthony, Black
  10. Gifted physically and with some of the best mentors one could ever ask for. All wasted.
  11. The sec blows right now and we get most of the bottom half of it. We could add nothing more and our floor would still be Atlanta
  12. Last year our winter portal haul included Mukuba, Golden, Bond, and Trey Moore. Elite adds at every position of need. This year we whiffed or balked at price tags for major WR, TE, and CB. Even ignoring MM, anyone who posted now that the portal preparedness was better than ever would get laughed off the board.
  13. Didn’t Burton say this was the most prepared for the portal the program has ever been? We’re still going to win the sec next year, but what an insane comment
  14. His health was mismanaged the entire season. I don’t buy that he’s been anywhere near healthy since September
  15. I go back and forth, but I think Jones was the biggest loss on the roster from last year over Worthy.
  16. Get in price just dropped $150 in the last few hours
  17. We had a glaring need for a Friday starter and were outbid on a number of targets. Not to say that we didn’t upgrade the staff, but there are question marks. To be title-caliber it’s likely going to need to be homegrown and 3 years without recruiting pitchers is a big hole to fill.
  18. Expecting a 2 seed this year, lately that means top 9/10 in sec play. Maybe that expands this year with us and OU, but 10/32 is already a huge chunk Staff overall is better, but still will be outgunned on the mound nearly every Friday in conference and most Saturdays. Gage is also irreplaceable. Don’t know enough about how similar/different the offensive approach will be, but at worst we’ll have the same streaky power as last year and win some big games. Honestly think the pitching will take 3 seasons to correct for Pierce’s malpractice
  19. Almost certain KS didn’t play any first last year. Poked through a bunch of box scores and it was almost always Borba and a bit of JOD when JT was in the outfield. Don’t know where he’ll play, but I think Stewart hits 20 homers this year
  20. Would’ve been so easy to saunter on and off subs and induce a delay there
  21. I mentioned the OT TD and the fake punt. Don’t recall one on the RB pass, but wouldn’t be surprised. There was also one on the 2 point conversion that would’ve offset with the d holding.
  22. Fans of middling teams will always have their narratives. I thought the refs were poor, but really didn’t impact the game significantly either way Pretty much every big play of theirs sans the RB pass could’ve been nullified with flags. The fake punt, the TD in OT, the interception, the long RB wheel. They ran 100ish plays and were pressured 31 times, but didn’t hold once.
  23. It would help if we had a receiver who could track a deep ball. Not that Quinn helps by putting it up in the lights every time
  24. One of the worst broadcasts I can remember, especially for espn proper. Production and commentary both
