  1. We were spoiled by relatively light crowds last October. Not sure I could handle what is being described here.
  2. Some people live to dunk on other people. Claim victory any time you're right and just forget about any time you're wrong. It's like gamblers who love to talk about how much money they made while leaving out how much they lost.
  3. There were two dogs in Lowes yesterday for seemingly no reason. I don't get it.
  4. The smoked habanero Marie Sharp's is like crack. I need a new bottle.
  5. I used to eat the hell out of those Fritos twists in college. Haven't had any in about 15 years though.
  6. I fell asleep on the drive between Stillwater and Tulsa when I was in college. Got up around 4:30AM that morning, worked all day, and thought I could make it home and back that evening. Woke up driving down the grass median a few hundred yards from an overpass concrete pillar. Scared the shit out of me and I was wide awake the rest of the drive.
  7. We had Dish for about ten years. Haven't missed them one bit since leaving. Their prices kept creeping up and their equipment was shit.
  8. Whirlpools are pretty solid. That's what we had prior to these. The one thing we really didn't like was that the dryer lint trap was on top so when you emptied it lint went everywhere. It was surprisingly annoying. I think only the cheaper basic models are like that. Whirlpool and Maytag are the only other brands I'd consider.
  9. Got these hooked up today and was briefly cussing Speed Queen for not including the screws required to attach the plug to the terminal block on the dryer. Wasted a good hour digging through my box of random shit in the garage to find one that fit before I could go to Ace and buy three new ones with the same threads. Got home, installed them, open the dryer door...packet of screws inside. Fuck me! Anyway, washed a few loads of clothes and everything seems to be working. Love the simplicity.
  10. My Great Aunt and Uncle live in Cincinnati and have been Bengals fans as long as I can remember. She passed away a couple weeks ago. Sucks she didn't get to see this. Hope they win it all though.
  11. Ha, basically look the same. I went with this model instead of the classic because we don't normally have super dirty clothes. I know a lot of die hards only like the older ones with the classic wash technology.
  12. We just bought one with a pool and everyone told us to get a separate pool inspection. It was $130 I think.
  13. These ones were $2200 with tax. Pretty expensive, but I think the Maytag set I was looking at was $1600-$1700 and hopefully these pay off over the long-term. Time will tell.
  14. Had these delivered today. Not hooked up yet, but hope they last a long time.
  15. I think that's probably true. The booster seems to be pretty effective, at least in the short-term.
  16. My fever got pretty damn high one night and I had waves of fever and chills for a day or two. It wasn't horrible, but it sucked. I was Pfizer vaxxed last May, but no booster. And yeah, a huge number I know are getting this when they didn't get any of the others. At least that they know about.
  17. Ha, no but that same person moved the meeting from Tuesday to Wednesday right after I talked to you. Just waiting for it to get moved to Thursday now.
  18. Someone sent me a meeting request on a day I clearly had marked as being out. I explained that I wouldn't be able to make it and declined. Got another request an hour later from the same person on the same day. I declined again. Still not available.
  19. Yep. The prices for them are absurd too.
  20. My taste and smell are definitely fucked today after being fine for the whole week. Not sure if it's just from lingering congestion or if I get to deal with this for the next several weeks/months.
  21. Could have had your husband assemble it for you and avoided all this mess.
  22. No loss of smell or taste yet for me (knock on wood), but definitely pounding headaches, sore throat, and fever in waves.
  23. I was thinking that as well, but we both tested positive for the 'vid.
  24. Last night was pretty bad and honestly my fever was getting to the point where it was concerning. It must have finally broke at some point because I woke up feeling 100 times better. Hopefully that was the worst of it.
