  1. I don't think there's any doubt the SEC is superior to B1G.
  2. Is there a real chance Colorado ends up back with us? What a weird ride they went on if so.
  3. Well the vaccine made me feel like shit. I'd be down for once a year probably.
  4. Serious question from someone who is not anti-vaxx. At what point do you stop getting them? I just don't see the point anymore unless you're in an at risk group.
  5. When do Nebraska and Tennessee lose their Blueblood status? Never?
  6. We got into it a bit. Things got a little heated. I gave a short lesson on how oil and gas trades on a global market and that inflation is more complicated than blaming a single administration. Also pointed out what I read on here about Republicans working to override the electoral process which he seemed genuinely pissed about. It won't change his mind, but it's something. All you can do is try.
  7. Kentucky, Mizzou, South Carolina are powerhouse programs.
  8. For different reasons no doubt.
  9. Not sure this really belongs here, but visiting my brother and the first thing I ask is 'hey, why is your flag upside down?'. Insert 'And here. we. go.' gif.
  10. Biden asking station owners to take one for the team. Problem solved! What a dumbfuck. And I voted for said dumbfuck because he was less of a dumbfuck than the other dumbfuck. Awesome.
  11. So glad I read this before trying to sleep.
  12. It's hard to believe anyone could be that clueless as to how any of this works.
  13. How the fuck did we get here?
  14. Unfortunately this will work.
  15. Exactly. I couldn't believe it. The headlines on the cover page would be hilarious if they didn't piss me off so bad.
  16. Visiting my 88 year old Grandma and immediately see Fox News spewing their bullshit on the TV and a Newsmax magazine opened up to a page blaming the Russian invasion of Ukraine on Biden. Nice.
  17. Well I actually have nothing to do with any of it, but why the fuck should you not be held to the agreement you agreed to? I'm sure Texas would just roll over and get fucked if they were on the other side right? None of that is even relevant. You think what's coming will be better, but it won't be. It only gets worse from here. And I couldn't give two shits if we ever play OU in any sport ever again. Fuck them.
  18. Has nothing to do with what you said. I'm ready for all of this to be settled. Whatever happens to us happens. College football is fucked regardless, but congrats on the money I guess?
  19. Yeah there's none of those in the Big 10 or SEC. Nailed it.
  20. Got damn Brisket has had some solid posts on this thread. Well done you crazy bastard.
  21. If there is any chance the check gets split you gotta up your drink game to match the rest of the table.
  22. Shit! Good idea.
  23. I don't mind them with Bourbon, but they can get too sweet. I haven't even been adding sugar to mine. Just a little of the Luxardo syrup is enough for me. One of the better Old Fashioneds I've had at a restaurant was at Bludorn. I had a few though and can't even remember what they used in it. I bought my Dad all the supplies including a bottle of Templeton last year for Christmas and he hasn't even cracked it yet. Thinking about swiping it next time I'm over there.
  24. Bumping this because I just picked up new bottles of Old Overholt and Rittenhouse for my Old Fashioneds. Why do I always have to ask for Rye when I order one at a restaurant?
  25. People who think any of what is happening is because of Biden are fucking morons. It is much bigger and much more complicated than any one administration. It has been years in the making on the Upstream side and Covid accelerated the problem on the Downstream side. Everyone wants a quick fix to a problem that has a huge number of interconnected variables. I never said anything about subsidies. As for moves to fix the refining capacity, it's always a balance. It's a boom and bust business. Always has been and always will be. Even if someone made the decision to start putting dollars back into a business that has been absolute dogshit for the past two years it would take time and manpower to do. My guess is that capacity will come from other parts of the world with fewer regulations and growing demand. Asia has been adding capacity for years which is yet another reason the US companies have shifted dollars elsewhere.
