I can't imagine why anyone would think this model is alienating a huge number of college sports fans. Oh, right we're all just supposed to pick a blue blood to root for. Yeah, think I'll pass. What an idiotic sport.
Gotcha. 72 at night and 74 during the day are my go to temps also. I did dial it up a couple degrees with this shitty weather though so it keeps the bill somewhat manageable. My in-laws keep theirs at 68-70 all the time and had a $600 bill last month. Yeah sorry that's insane.
Our company actually does take action to reduce demand although it's likely more cost driven than to help out Ercot. Auto shades come down in the afternoon and it's like a cave in there. Gets noticeably warm at times also. You have to wonder if companies just start scrapping the whole office model at some point. It's a huge waste of resources and isn't exactly cheap to run and maintain.
So what happens when the blue line crosses the purple line? Do we implode? Just talked to my wife and her office is blasting the AC at about 58 degrees so they're doing their part.
I'm still under the worthless home warranty and it has 'pool coverage' which of course did not cover the leak in the drain line. Wonder if it covers a burned up pump.
Yeah mine was 3200 for about 10 hours a day when I moved in and it was pretty damn loud. Dialed it back to 2400 and it was much better, but didn't seem to be skimming enough. I think I'll do a combo of high/med/low and see how that goes.
Thanks, I'll tweak the settings. I actually didn't have it running at all overnight. Is it better to have it going 24/7 I guess? Still learning all this stuff.
My parents hid all the gifts in their bedroom and my little brother found the SNES like a month beforehand. We were bragging to all the kids on the bus about how we were getting one for Christmas. Did the whole pretend to be surprised bit on Christmas morning and everything. In hindsight it would have been better had we not known.
We bought the house in December so it was already here. I messed with the settings and dialed back the rpms so it's not as bad, but I need to actually do the math to figure out what speed I should be running it at to turn the pool over. Never enough time to do anything though.
