Harden got fouled on the 3 too

Nene is an odd choice to put in the game there. Don't understand why the Rockets put basically no effort into attacking Curry once he picked up his 5th foul.

2nd Round: Warriors vs. Rockets
5th foul on Curry was trash. Igoudala got Harden on the arm though.

2nd Round: Warriors vs. Rockets
The Warriors have complained just as much even though the calls have been going in their favor

Yeah... unless Harden or Gordon just goes off in the 4th so there is no question about it, the Rockets aren't going to be allowed to win this game

Or people should stop hitting you in the face?

Durant hits Paul on the 3 and gets a transition dunk instead of the foul call. The Rockets do get away with a ton of contact on defense, particularly when they play small, but the Warriors really do seem to play by completely different rules.

All season Paul (and then right there Harden) are so casual bringing the ball up the court with less than 5 seconds left and have to throw up something past half court instead of actually moving the ball up the floor to get a better look

He is shooting the ball and getting fouled.

already some insanely late whistles on very obvious foul calls

Capela has to leave Bogut at the 3 point line to stop the Durant dunk

I'm curious to see if the Warriors are willing to give Bogut any minutes when Harden is in the game.

Definitely weird seeing Shumpert get in so early and Nene over Faried when we started Faried at PF against the Warriors for a game in the regular season and used him as the primary defender on Durant in that game.

2018-2019 San Antonio Spurs: Fuck Kawhi Leonard
Sending a double to try to get a steal before immediately fouling is reasonable but you have to at least do something there.

They just gave up down 4 with like 28 seconds left? What?

They had the 5th best record in the West, were 4 games behind 2nd, and had what, the 3rd best record in the league after the all star break? They're as good as any team in the West outside of Golden State and Houston and might be better.

The Rockets played two good offensive games, no good defensive games, and still beat probably the 3rd best team in the West in 5 games. I'll take it but Harden is going to have to step it up against the Warriors.

Going to just a 7 man rotation in the 2nd half was definitely frustrating. If Capela is ineffective, you'd think Faried (or Nene) would get some time and if we're going to play Tucker at center to go small for significant stretches, probably need Green to get more than 3 minutes in the half and/or work in Shumpert.

Curry trying to be a hero forcing the 3 for no reason.

I would argue that a defense isn't "working" when the intended result is a wide open corner 3 for Tucker, a lob to Capela, or a layup by Harden even if those shots happen to miss. That's not a plan that is sustainable at all. They were basically conceding to give the Rockets the exact shots they want instead of just trying to play actual defense on Harden.

This gimmick defense the Jazz are trying to play against Harden is not working at all.

The Blazers winning the 4th quarter by 20 only playing 6 guys with 3 of them playing the full 48 minutes is pretty crazy.

I don't understand at all why Portland wants to play the Jazz in the first round for the chance to play the Warriors in the 2nd. I also don't think the Thunder will give the Rockets any trouble in the first round if that is the match up. 6 games max but I kinda doubt it gets that far.

The Jazz probably don't want the Rockets to fall to the 4 seed either. They definitely would rather play Portland than Houston in the first round.
