Our current best 23 would still include a few MLS players. Turner probably makes it as a top 3 keeper. Long, Zimmerman, and Miles Robinson are all in the picture at center back and I imagine at least one would make the roster. Vines might be our #2 option at left back. Lletget would likely get a spot in the midfield. And then there is obviously Jozy depending on his health. production, and if any other options are playing/doing well.

  3. I imagine the constant retard/autist comments aren't doing them a lot of favors and gives an easy "justification".
  4. It really is just a lazy narrative. Harden clearly both loves the game and puts in the work. I do think it's fair to question if all of the stuff he also loves outside the game has an impact, but I don't think you can really question the amount of work he puts in at basketball.
  5. If this current roster is healthy for an extended period of time, this is low seeded playoff team with a decent chance at winning the division. That said, a team with Wall, Cousins, Gordon, and Oladipo is a pretty safe bet to never be healthy for an extended string of games.
  6. Wait, if Harden doesn't love basketball, why is he constantly playing pickup all over the place in the offseason? You could make an argument that he isn't driven to win an NBA title as much as a Kobe or Lebron but his consistent actions every year show that he clearly loves playing basketball (and yes, he obviously loves strippers too).

His current worst case scenario place in the national team is being the first offensive sub, so I wouldn't really call a loan in the Championship to be his last chance to make a case for the national team.
  8. That's a version from some time in 2019. Their most up to date version can be found at https://www.adfontesmedia.com/static-mbc/.
  9. It's wild that their reaction is "If Trump does nothing, that means Trump is part of the deep state too!!!!!" instead of just acknowledging that all of the claims were actually bullshit.
  10. Did Sims do something earlier that makes Kansas think they need to double team him inside? Lots of open 3s coming from double teams on Sims.
  11. I think your starting lineup is correct, though I would not be surprised to see them really try to ease Wall in and start Gordon instead. The top 7 on the roster are clearly Harden, Wall, Gordon, House, Tucker, Cousins, and Wood. After that it gets interesting. I don't expect any backup point guard (Clemons or Grant) to get time at all unless one of the real guards is hurt. Same with Bruno. Tons of "options" on the wing though with Green, McLemore, Sterling Brown, David Nwaba, and Jay'Sean Tate. Have two or three of those guys pan out and have good luck with health and this could be a really good, deep team. Have none of them pan out and injury trouble and Harden will be out there playing by himself.

Antonee Robinson is the best natural left back in the pool. Was a high level player in the Championship, now starts for Fulham in the Premier League, but has been fairly underwhelming so far for the national team.
  13. I will never understand people wanting to blow up a consistent top 4, 2nd round team to collect picks, drop to the lottery, and hope they get lucky enough to get right back into the position they were already in. The Rockets are not going to be the title favorites in the current NBA, but that doesn't mean you blow everything up. Any team in that situation is much better off continuing to be a top 4 seed, trying to get to the playoffs healthy, and then hope a good run of play and circumstance can get you to a title.
  14. Yeah, no. That's really fucking stupid. If it comes out that he had the stated desire to kill looters/rioters/protesters, then you'll have an argument and your comparison will be correct. Until something like that comes out, the self defense argument is incredibly easy to make. But yes, he is definitely a wannabe cop and is not a hero. There just also is no reason to believe he's a white supremacist domestic terrorist.
  15. I'm curious as to why this is your belief. Did every person there with a gun go there for the purpose of hunting people?
  16. It very clearly was a different person. The shooter doesn't appear in any of the videos of that confrontation.
  17. Did you actually watch that video? He says "I just got pepper sprayed by a person in the crowd", the person recording says "So you have non lethal but you didn't respond", and his reply is "We don't have non lethal". Then he is asked "So you are fully ready to protect the property?" and he says "Yes, we are". People trying to push the narrative that he went there with the intention of shooting someone are going to have to find some type of proof that is the case. Videos of him cleaning graffiti, providing medical help, and attempting to run away in every case where he eventually shoots paints a very different picture than someone who just showed up to kill someone. It's possible that some evidence like that exists and comes out eventually, but so far, I haven't seen it.
  18. You sure? The entire witness statement in the complaint seems to outline a self defense argument.
  19. I've seen multiple people talk about how this can't be self defense because he is only 17 making it illegal for him to possess and/or open carry that gun. If he were 18 self defense is possible but since he's 17, it's not. Does that sense to anyone?
  20. Literally the next part of that statement is The defendant had his knee on Mr. Floyd's neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds in total. Two minutes and 53 seconds of this was after Mr. Floyd was non-responsive. Police are trained that this type of restraint with a subject in a prone position is inherently dangerous. That doesn't read like good news for the cop to me.
  21. You're in luck, pornhub premium is currently free thanks to the coronavirus.
  22. He was using a GPS tracking workout app. This means that he would have his GPS tracked workout that shows where he was and when he was there. Unless his workout shows that he stopped at the house, dicked around for a while stealing shit, and then left, it would clear him. Yes, contacting a lawyer makes sense. Spending several thousands of his parents money when he has clear evidence that he did not do it does not make sense to me.
  23. Seems like in this specific case it should have been pretty easy for him to just provide the workout data that proved his innocence instead of panicking and spending thousands of dollars on a lawyer.
  24. How is that a jump ball? Coleman just ripped the ball out of his hands
