  1. They make their money off ad revenue. If you're watching the ad, then it worked. ABC only cares about shutting down the streams because of the NCAA or conference copyrights. Just like the NFL is getting them shut down. I doubt the networks care that much about a feed that can be picked up for free with an antenna.
  2. This is hilarious. Getting a pirated feed means that SOMEBODY out there is giving money to them so you can watch, which means you watching is helping them get money. You're still seeing their ads, which is where most of their money comes from. Way to go! You showed them!
  3. Great idea! Everyone who thinks we shouldn't give money to ABC/Disney/ESPN should buy game tickets for us poors so we can join you in the boycott. I mean, if you REALLY care that much about it... I'll need 4 for every home and away game, btw, including travel costs, hotels, meals, etc.
  4. They sign a Code of Ethics which governs all kinds of "personal life" stuff. They can't say being gay is "bad" on their personal FB page , for example. You okay with them not being able to post that? Some districts don't like it if a teacher posts a photo of them holding a margaritas or in a bikini. I know a teacher that got in trouble because she went out drinking with one of her students' moms and posted about it on FB. Maybe you think it's okay to post stuff about how certain races are always the ones causing trouble? White teachers have been in trouble for singing along to rap songs on TikTok and using the n-word that is in the lyrics. You okay with that? Or do you only get upset when they are punished for something you agree with? Lot of stupid people out there without filters who think they can do or say whatever. I doubt half of the people on this site would post even 10% of what they do if we were required to use our real names and everything was searchable via Google. I know I'd probably be in trouble for stuff I post in the IPIHB section. Btw - my wife is a teacher. She doesn't even comment on or "like" posts that some of her "friends" post that are political or potentially inflammatory because too many people like to look up who reacted "in the wrong way" and start contacting employers to complain.
  5. Texas 38 tOSU 17 Defense causes a switch at QB in the 3rd. They get a late garbage TD. Arch yards - 295
  6. I'm sure this has been asked before but i couldn't find it. I bought my domain name and am trying to design a website thru some of the usual template places (like Wix), but I need some place to host it that is reliable but not expensive and will allow me to create multiple email addresses @ my domain name for various purposes. I think I know how to do the name pointer so that clicking my domain name takes me to the pages where they are hosted. This will be for my bookkeeping business. It will mostly just be 2 or 3 pages with services and contact info. No e-commerce stuff. Most packages I've seen from various providers have all kinds of stuff like "free domain name" and "up to 5 websites" and a bunch of extra stuff I don't need. Some (like Wix) don't offer email but offer Google Workspace sign up as part of the package (couldn't I do that separately?) which looks like it has 5 emails for the lowest tier? I might need this anyway since I might need to share Google Docs with clients. I haven't had a website in YEARS and the last one I used was GoDaddy which everyone seems to frown on right now. I'm sure a bunch of you are much more involved in this than I am. What should I do? I'm a poor, but need a website and business email so I can start my marketing.
  7. My wife packs for herself and both kids 2 months before the trip and still isn't ready to go. I pack 30 minutes before it's time to leave and am in the car 10 minutes early.
  8. Anyone know what positions were eliminated at AISD Central Office today?
  9. Lived on a farm when I was a kid. Once had a calf we had to bottle-feed because mama rejected it and he wasn't doing good. Dad sent me out one early morning to give it a bottle and I found it like this, covered in maggots. The smell is the worst part. I went back and told my dad. Not sure how he got it out of the barn stall.
  10. AISD offices at 35/Ben White keep killing the rain before it can cross 35.
  11. Fucking force field
  12. Looking good so far
  13. Any of this shit from the west going to make it here? Or is going to split like the Red Sea around Austin again?
  14. They would have caught them if they were thrown by Applewhite.
  15. You guys are bitching about the wrong level of scumbags. Look up Travis Decker. That's a scumbag who needs to be put down.
  16. I kept thinking they were trying to low-key strike her out while "intentionally walking" her. I was wondering why they bother throwing four pitches and don't just award the base if the pitching team indicates they want to intentionally walk.
  17. Wow! I was hoping they'd pitch it close again.
  18. You could tell the batter was waiting on that changeup. Two fastballs for strikes. Should've stayed with it. Went changeup and HR.
  19. Got some small pea-to-gravel hail in 78724. Some nice rain. Power went out about 5-10 minutes before the rain hit. Wife and kids barely got out of the car and onto the porch before it started coming down. Lasted about 20 minutes and the sun is out again.
  20. Looking west from Elgin. I don't know dick about cloud formations, but someone is about to get fucked.
  21. He doesn't work for Amaxon despite the Amazon branded vest and panel van. He works for a subcontracting company that delivers Amazon packages. It's how Amazom avoids liability for shit like this. The sub-companies are responsible for hiring and clearing drivers. Any damages incurred are on the sub-company that hired him. I personally would've called the customer first to see if they had a ladder or rope, then 911, then my dispatch to let them know why I'm not delivering (vehicles have trackers).
  22. Can someone wake me up when we stop talking about yester-Quinn and start talking about his camp or training with the Dolphins?
  23. QE definitely had some WTF throws, but I'm not going to totally blame him on some of those deep 40+-yd throws that landed 3-6 feet to the side of the receiver. A lot of times you hear about a QB "throwing a guy open" because of the defender's position. You have a WR running down the field with a CB on his right hip. Sure, a perfect throw COULD land right in his hands, but it's better to throw it to the left and let your WR adjust to the open area of the field and catch it. Worthy was terrible at making adjustments and tracking the ball. I don't put all of that on Quinn. Now, when he overthrows or underthrows a wide open receiver, that's definitely on him.
