  1. I'm sure Deion is keeping the lid on tight, just like Art Briles did.
  2. If I ever need to use my wife's car and need the trunk, I always have to get her to empty all of that shit out. "I keep meaning to stop at Goodwill and drop this off." There are always bags in there that never seem to disappear.
  3. Not gonna go back and quote but: 1: "Of course I know what I'm doing!" (Looks it up on YouTube to see what to do.) 2: Who the fuck doesn't have a gas monitor? And if you had a failed FV sensor, order 2 so you have an extra for next time (15 years from now). 3: Ate lunch at my kids' school yesterday with my mom (early T-Day lunch) and if you didn't want turkey you could get a PB&J. I asked my kids if the sandwich was any good and they both said "No." I asked why and my son told me it's not really peanut butter. It's Sun Butter. Yes, I know some kids have deadly peanut allergies, but Sun Butter? Better to just make a jelly sandwich.
  4. My point was that the cups were even more off-base than you thought. It would be one thing if mom said, "Sure. Walk to town. Idgaf." But that didn't happen. Mom left her "responsible" kid at home. Kid left without mom's knowledge or permission and mom got arrested for it.
  5. https://www.fox7austin.com/news/noah-mata-criminal-history-austin-texas While I'm sure this Mata guy should've been locked up long ago, he didn't shoot the woman. He might have started the events, but the guy who fought him to get the gun back decided to shoot at an apparently now-unarmed guy inside an apt, miss, and that miss went through a wall and killed a woman. Now, you can argue that it never would've happened if Mata was in jail and not there, or even that he started it (even if he had never been arrested before) and therefore had some culpability for the results, but we don't give cops a pass if they shoot at a bad guy and miss when there is a large group of little kids behind him. Mata definitely should be in jail, but the woman's death should be on the shooter.
  6. She didn't "let the kid walk". She left the kid at home and expected him to stay there. He decided to leave and walk a mile to town. Mom knew nothing about it until the cops called her and asked if she knew her kid had walked to town by himself.
  7. And they were all part of the Daily Show at one point, correct? Use your connections.
  8. The kids aren't going to squeegee the damn door no matter what kind you get. Edit: sawbonz beat me to it.
  9. He had it with a foot in bounds, but the ball bobbled when he hit the ground.
  10. Guess you don't go to the CR? Pretty much the same.
  11. I delivered a package to the Undertaker's house about a month ago. Had his wife's name on the package. Very nice house.
  12. We all knew that sack was coming, especially after they mentioned it. 3rd and long? Free rusher coming.
  13. I'm here. Not sure I'm awake, though. Hope the team is.
  14. I'm sure most if not all talk shows have a stable of guests who are somewhat local and can be called on should there be a last minute cancel or late arriving scheduled guest. So if they schedule Eddie Murphy but his plane is delayed or he has a family emergency or is just drunk, they can call up Teri Garr or Don Rickles or someone and keep the show going. I'm assuming this is why Jimmy Fallon seems to have a lot of SNL people on his show when they don't have a big movie coming out.
  15. Just saw this. I used to fix and restore 80s arcade games and cabinets. A lot were made with MDF and painted, and often got water damage (like when a restaurant mopped the floor right against the cabinet). You have a laminate veneer, so no need to worry about paint. I don't know if you can disassemble the cabinet so you're only working with the damaged side. If not, it'll be harder but not impossible. Of course, if you can disassemble the cabinet AND remove all of the veneer easily, it would be easiest just to have a new piece cut at the proper thickness and put the veneer on it. First, you'll need to get access to the swollen MDF by removing the veneer without breaking it. Might need a heat gun to soften the adhesive, and a putty knife to gently work the veneer up. You probably won't be able to match it if it breaks, so you'll either have to redo the entire piece with new matching veneer or play puzzle master trying to put it all back together and hope it doesn't look worse than it does now. After it's off, you need to treat all of the swollen area with Wood Hardener (see the pic below). You can get this at Home Depot or Lowes. Treat the swollen area per the instructions and let it dry. Once the wood is nice and hard (that's what she said) use an orbital sander to sand it smooth back to the original shape. If there is any pitting or missing chunks that you're worried about, you can use Bondo (wood/metal) to fill and sand. Now, wipe all the dust off and glue the veneer pack on. If you can't disassemble the cabinet, you'll have to sand it by hand. Wrap a ruler in sandpaper to get in the tight spots.
  16. It was ugly, but it's a W. I had to look at the team stats and was surprised Vandy had any penalties called. We got picked several times, especially that PI call on 4th down when the receiver was pulling our jersey but we got the penalty. Not sure about that Gunnar Helm holding call. Looked like the defender fell and GH just fell on him. Whatever. Too many holding penalties killed our drives, and some poor blocking let free rushers through killing other drives. Too many sacks. But we won. I'll take it.
  17. Kirby is going to have an aneurysm, and I'm here for it.
