  1. I'm sure many of us can relate: https://www.facebook.com/reel/654851239923593?fs=e&s=9RfQYY&mibextid=wa05Vy
  2. Tell her she needs to see if the door is strong enough to keep the dogs from accidentally getting out. Lock her in. Go have a beer or three. Come back later and ask if it held.
  3. I've asked my wife about this when she does it. Her response? "You ARE my Google."
  4. We're not watching women's sports because they're dominant over every other human on the planet. We're watching it because: 1 - we're a fan of the school and all its teams 2 - tits and ass 3 - one or more specific athletes are dominant when compared to other elite women and we want to see a world record 4 - tits and ass 5 - it's the only thing on TV 6 - tits and ass
  5. What primer was it and what was the issue? I'm going to do my own paint if I ever get the rest of the car ready for it.
  6. We did 8 IUI's with 3 "you're pregnant" but 2 that failed before one finally stuck. He turns 10 in November. Wife was 34 at the time. First pregnancy was a blighted ovum - just stopped developing. 2nd never even got to the 1st ultrasound. 5 others that didn't work. Almost 2 years later - wife was 36 - we decided to just use the leftover ovulation test strips and not spend the money. Got pregnant on the first try. She turned 7 this past Feb.
  7. That's basically my sister minus any twins and stopping at 7. First 2 kids are less than a year apart.
  8. Well, that - and not throwing most of those deep passes to a receiver who couldn't adjust to the ball or catch it when it got there.
  9. So they got rid of a black woman and a Hispanic? Sounds like a win-win for aggy.
  10. It's a long drive from Katy to The Station. A comfort station along the way is a good idea. Especially with the Chicken Ranch shut down.
  11. Looks like a photo an older female friend (divorced) sent me the other day. Said she hit a curb and was losing air. I went and helped her and followed her to the tire shop where she not only got it fixed but replaced the one-month old tire on the other side because she needed them to "match" as far as age for her "safety". Rim wasn't damaged. Just some tire residue. $600+ for two tires because she said she can't be driving on generic-name tires. A day after she got it fixed, she called to tell me she hit another curb but luckily didn't pop her tire again.
  12. My wife hasn't done it in a while, but she used to give long unnecessarily detailed explanations or stories and then end with "so..." I used to make fun of her for it but now realize it's was just a woman tactic so if you try to correct her or call her out on something she can claim "I wasn’t finished yet!"
  13. About the same thing for me. On a long multi-stop trip I accidentally mixed up the dates when booking thru hotels.com and made the reservation for the day after I was actually going to be there. It was just an overnight stop after a full day of driving. The hotel had room but because I booked thru hotels.com I had to call them and have them change the reservation date in their system so that it would change in the hotel system and they'd get paid properly. Hotel staff was nice but I had to deal with some call center asshat for 2 hours just for them to get the date changed. Since we were stopping at the same hotel on the way back, I verified I had the date right for the return reservation (I did).
  14. Another from my 9-yr-old: Q: What happened after the astronaut farted on the moon? A: He Apollo-gized.
  15. No, the proper response to "I forgot my..." after you've left the house, truck, whatever is to say "Oh well. Guess you'll remember next time." And then you leave without it. And he can suffer not having his phone, wallet, whatever. My kids have learned that if they want to have their tablets, Switch, or whatever then it's their responsibility to bring them, bring charging cords, and bring headphones so I don't have to listen to it in the car. If they forget headphones then they can't use their electronics (because even when they "turn the sound down" it invariably gets turned up again and I can hear it). If the battery dies because they forgot charging cords then they can look out the window. They always bug my wife to use her phone when their battery dies and I told her to quit giving it to them because it's for her, not them. They know better than to ask for mine.
  16. Black SUV was stolen and thief died despite people trying to get him out. Car caught fire and poof.
  17. Dude was gonna wreck regardless of whether he hit that truck. That's a T intersection and at that speed he was toast.
  18. Assuming the speed of the bike stays constant, she's fine. Helps that she held onto his shirt, though, so if the bike speeds up she would be pulled along.
  19. I once had a cat that got "cat aids". (I forget the actual name but they described it as "basically AIDS but for cats.) By the time it has symptoms to even know this diagnosis, it's too late for the cat and it usually dies within 48 hrs.
  20. From my 9yo: What has four letters and sometimes has nine.
  21. The problem is he's supposed to be throwing footballs.
  22. Yes but I was trying to convey they were from the same branch rather than a cousin from elsewhere. The LFL mom was hot in college. Never saw the Nuggets mom back then so no idea.
  23. And I recently found out that cousin's sister has a kid who started this year as a dancer for the Denver Nuggets:
  24. But I've posted pics of a cousin's kid who I found out used to play in the LFL:
