  1. Very. Very lazy. Fucking nice. Thanks 👍
  2. I try to keep up, I really do. But y'all are moving way too fast here the last couple days. Can anyone do me a solid and give me the Cliff Notes of what has happened? Two days ago this thread was on like page 80
  3. Yep, pretty good program, too. Buddy of mine from HS went there and won a D2 NC there our freshman year.
  4. No shit. Obviously his last name probably gets him a nice shiny F250 but that first name probably gets him some pretty sweet gentleman's club NIL money lol
  5. Man, Poona is probably top three favorite Longhorns of the last decade. Dude just puts in work and reaps the benefits while ignoring the naysayers.
  6. Last year was terribad but you also have to give the guy a bit of slack. He came from a conference with average offensive attacks and plunged into a conference that routinely has some of the best offenses in the country. That takes some time to adjust. Factor in some athletes that straight up just didn't give a fuck and you have a shit show on your hands. It's also worth mentioning that Texas defense has been awful for the better part of a decade so it's not surprising that it didn't correct itself in one season. Though I do think we showed some definite improvement as the season went on but even that is a question mark because we supposedly "simplified" the defense after getting thrashed for the first half of the season. I'm hoping that Phatterson being around the program has rubbed off on someone or something. That man knows defense. Agreed on the portal LB thing. We definitely could've done more there.
  7. Same here. Especially after this past decade of results. Fully ingrained in the wait and see mentality. I think that game could be a shit show for either team. Obviously, Bama has elite talent just about everywhere. Texas has a smattering of talent in some positions and a gang of meh in others. I think Texas having home field advantage helps quite a bit but not sure if that's going to tip the scales in our favor. Sark's familiarity with Bama's team probably offers him a slight edge in game planning but the opposite could also be true since Bama's staff is very familiar with Sark and his tendencies. Either way, here's to hoping it's a good game and not a one-sided walloping for either team.
  8. Honest question: how confident are you that Alabama beats Texas in week 2?
  9. No shit? So all I need to do is caveman club a rich young dumb chick over the head a few times and throw the old soup can at her immediately afterwards and she's DTF all the time? Does Amazon sell caveman clubs? Probably throw one in the truck in case I spy a big city slam out in public.
  10. Concussions are no joke. I dated a girl in high school that was an excellent soccer player. She had three concussions in a season and the last one happened while she was wearing one of those skullcaps. Went from full ride D1 offers to zero offers just like that. She's doing okay now. Married with kids. Her husband is a hippie and they both have dreadlocks so maybe the concussions did skew her decision making abilities a bit...
  11. Let's be honest--you'd have exactly zero clue what they were talking about. Neither would I or 99.98% of posters here. Would still be awesome to sit and listen though.
  12. It'd be nice if we could make that happen. Realistically, as bad as last season went, we weren't terribly far off from being competent. With the OL class we just brought in and the addition of some stud WR's, we are probably going to be pretty lopsided without offense being considerably better than the defense. If we can even show that we're improving on that side of the ball we have a good base for Arch to come in and RS while he learns the system and by then we've got a pretty stacked OL with most guys being upperclassmen and maybe by the Grace of God our defense will be nasty enough to go four quarters and rotate guys without too much dropoff in talent. Or we'll suck. Could go either way. Fuck it. I'm in.
  13. Please God don't let us squander this talent.
  14. Fuck man this is not what I wanted my first time to watch a baseball CWS to be like.
  15. I could see that. I just never really followed baseball after little league so it's an entirely unknown world to me but the fans seem devout and that's usually a good sign that something is worth a shot.
  16. Not a huge baseball guy but it's growing on me. This shit is exciting.
  17. I thought the funniest part was apparently he made a Facebook post that said "I regret nothing". Like, you *sure*? You just went from a decade of performing national anthems at NCAA sanctioned events to likely never doing one again...
  18. Anybody see this? https://www.on3.com/college/texas-longhorns/news/ncaa-cancels-national-anthem-singer-from-college-world-series-appearance-after-horns-down-gesture-texas-longhorns/ Never change, aggy.
  19. I would like to formally second this motion. Cowboys from hell would fucking rock.
  20. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that your mother dropped you on your head on purpose.
  21. Nah. Running is for sissies. The real ones know that the stair climber is the more efficient fat burning cardiovascular exercise. Or jump rope. Either one blows running out of the water.
  22. I've never found a pair of running shoes that pair well with Cinch jeans. I do have a couple pairs of Twisted X driving mocs that are awesome. Plenty of room in there.
