  1. It was! We were in the side of the stadium where penn state scored to go up, which was also the student end. Good times! The stadium was hyped/surprised by the mid-4th, so you can imagine the deflation when the call was upheld. It was so close to the end, almost everyone stayed. Also, the PSU video boards weren’t high quality enough to have resolution to see a good the replay in the stadium.
  2. Just got back from road tripping with my son to Happy Valley (we’re located in Detroit) for the PSU/IU game. Solid experience, nice enough stadium, nice people. Traditions were good, game was outstanding. Their stadium access and accessibility to facilities/food was top notch, though the stadium isn’t particularly visually appealing. Would say the experience was similar to Michigan, but a little less in basically every way. We still had a good time though.
  3. I think Home/Road environments have the biggest effect on the OLs. Crowd noise reduces their advantage of knowing the snap count, and gives the DLine relatively quicker get off. I think our OL line plays better today as a result of the home field and another week of practice for the young guys. Arch will have just a little more time and it will make all the difference. I think Texas wins by 10-17 in a game that doesn’t feel particularly close.
  4. I was able to mess with this a bit to get Ole Miss to have a better conference winning percentage than A&M. Just have Auburn stumble home and MSU win some.
  5. From unseasonably warm Detroit 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
  6. DD Lewis coached my 5th (or maybe 6th, don't remember) grade basketball team. He did a fine job, but he kept using football analogies. We were supposed to learn how to run a two-on-one fast break by thinking about the option, etc, etc. He was a nice guy and a nice coach, and for a metroplex kid it was pretty cool to be coached by former Cowboy.
  7. I *think* it's an RPO where QE checks to see tight coverage on the WR and then is reading the deep safety. When he doesn't drop to the field corner, QE is pulling it to throw to the route up top, 1 on 1.
  8. I’m a Vandy undergrad/Texas grad. My grandpa was a Texas grad; the family has always been Texas fans, and I’ve been a die hard. While I always pull for Vandy, I hope Texas stomps them this week. Hook ‘em. I’ll also never understand why a school that had a mascot that sounds like commode would choose a catch phrase, “Anchor Down”, that sounds like taking dump.
  9. Just back from the game! Hell of a win, the stadium emptied and there was so much burnt orange. Hook ‘em!
  10. Headed to Ann Arbor! Hook ‘em!
  11. lol. Two of the “special” players on the Michigan Offense are a converted linebacker who’s a 5th year player with 345 career rushing yards and a senior tight end with seven catches, ever.
  12. According to this guy: The Michigan offense has 4 special players, and the Texas offense has 3. The Michigan defense has 7 special players, the Texas defense 1. Also, Michigan apparently has 3 All-American players and Texas doesn't have any. Should we even show up, since Michigan so clearly has the talent advantage?
  13. Yes. Very good, classic French. More authentic than elegant interior.
  14. I was at the game last night. I don’t know how it read on TV, but Michigan basically played man/press man single high all night and dared Fresno to pass it and Fresno couldn’t. There wasn’t much to see, really. Offensively, Michigan’s lack of push was surprising. Also, their receivers couldn’t get open, and when they did Warren was not good. Orji’s one pass caused an audible reaction from the crowd. It was comical. The Big House is a cool place to watch a game. But it’s a very shallow bowl all the way around, hence not very loud. This is also the first year of beer sales there.
