  1. This Jabeur/Bouzkova match is a fucking war of attrition. Both are ailing, but unless Bouzkova manages to grind out a win in the second set I doubt she can keep going.
  2. I don't know if you have, but go there sometime. I love that stadium and the gameday experience.
  3. My girl is kicking ass. She seems to be improving as she gets older. She always plays her best in NY. Go Sorana!
  4. Hmm... something tells me we will see this exact sort of officiating horseshit several times this year in our games.
  5. It would be less than shocking if NU's defense is ahead of it's offense. Matt being Matt.
  6. There would be a third behemoth among conferences, the PAC, had UT headed west.
  7. Having spent several years on the west coast, I very much wanted UT to the PAC to happen, and was disappointed when that was scuttled. After the Horns, I always liked UW and UCLA. UW used to have a fun game day atmosphere, and tailgating on the water is hard to beat.
  8. And Milroe poses such a serious aerial threat that we'd better be careful of guarding against his running? Who knew that Young to Milroe was simply a passing of the Heisman torch?
  9. Doesn't he share some business interests with Jordan Shipley?
  10. Damn, OU lagging behind The Red Stick Charter Middle School? How's that NHS reach around working for you, Okies?
  11. From a fairly brief viewing of the game, he is very mobile and has a powerful arm. It seemed that most times he dropped back to pass he was under a lot of pressure. He made a 4th down thrown (4th and 11?) that would make most blue bloods cream their jeans.
  12. I can't speak for you, but I enjoy learning histories and stories that have been untold for far too long. And while I've never been to a game in the Valley, it's a region for which I have a fondness. From the outside looking in (sort of), I imagine it resembling what high school football in the Metroplex (where I grew up) was 45 years ago; more simple with emphasis on school/town loyalty, not $ and vulgar vanity. /rant
  13. ATM dropped a bag for Desmond to commit to us. Fuckers.
  14. Our freshman OL from Melissa, Trevor Goosby, has a little brother - class of 2026 - who is a WR for Melissa. Even though he is more known for being a hoops prospect, Austin Goosby made a tremendous catch with the Argyle defender draped all over him.
  15. To compound her shittiness, if she couldn't possibly abide him in Austin, Oregon and UCLA - who also boast tremendous throwing programs in T&F - both offered Foster and she could have let him matriculate to either. She's just a selfish Little League or Chess circuit parent.
  16. A healthy Quinn is a helluva QB. Our IOL will be better - not sure how much - by virtue of experience, another year of S&C and another year with Flood. RBs and WRs are deep and talented. Quinn needs to remain healthy. JT Sanders needs to remain healthy. Catalon needs to remain healthy. EDGE will be better, again, not sure how much. We need AntHill to ramp up quickly and Gbenda not to suck. Sark will be better - another year of living sober and experience, adding more quality coaches. Looking at all that, I don't know if I see an undefeated team, but I think the only way we don't win 10+ games is if we are unlucky with injuries and Big 12 zebras.
  17. The aggy is strong in those people. I would have supposed they had a slightly more informed view of college football than the dipshits in Petticoat Jonestown, but it seems I was way off base there. Having never lived in Louisiana, East Texas or Houston, I have been deprived of the pleasure of LSU intelligence.
  18. As long as we get Baker I see no reason to despair. Flood & Co. seem excellent at evaluating pop-up seniors. I wonder if they will be looking for TE and LB in the same fashion.
