  1. To compound her shittiness, if she couldn't possibly abide him in Austin, Oregon and UCLA - who also boast tremendous throwing programs in T&F - both offered Foster and she could have let him matriculate to either. She's just a selfish Little League or Chess circuit parent.
  2. A healthy Quinn is a helluva QB. Our IOL will be better - not sure how much - by virtue of experience, another year of S&C and another year with Flood. RBs and WRs are deep and talented. Quinn needs to remain healthy. JT Sanders needs to remain healthy. Catalon needs to remain healthy. EDGE will be better, again, not sure how much. We need AntHill to ramp up quickly and Gbenda not to suck. Sark will be better - another year of living sober and experience, adding more quality coaches. Looking at all that, I don't know if I see an undefeated team, but I think the only way we don't win 10+ games is if we are unlucky with injuries and Big 12 zebras.
  3. The aggy is strong in those people. I would have supposed they had a slightly more informed view of college football than the dipshits in Petticoat Jonestown, but it seems I was way off base there. Having never lived in Louisiana, East Texas or Houston, I have been deprived of the pleasure of LSU intelligence.
  4. As long as we get Baker I see no reason to despair. Flood & Co. seem excellent at evaluating pop-up seniors. I wonder if they will be looking for TE and LB in the same fashion.
  5. I've tried using the DCTF high school app on my phone for following games and getting score updates the last couple of years, but it's a shit app that doesn't update as quickly as it should and I have to frequently reload it. Anybody with a suggestion for an app that does update scores in a timely and reliable fashion?
  6. I have no idea how hard we were/are recruiting Bussey, but aggy was offering him as a DB. Both Bussey and Hampton are two-way players. Based on info from Surlies more in the know, I've never felt like the coaching staff had a huge hard on for either one. In other words, hydraulics.
  7. BK is very talented; he was always too talented for The Horn. Not sure I would make the decision to leave ESPN Houston, but he may know things to come with the 4 letter.
  8. Sark realizes he has a problem. That's a positive. I also believe the addition of Chryst will help prevent 2nd half offensive malaise/brain cloud. My main worries this season are the Big 12 refs/office and injuries to the wrong guys. I'm cautiously extremely optimistic.
  9. Are they doubling down on their murkiness? This certainly sounds like it.
  10. Keep us apprised of your safety as you are able. Good luck.
  11. He appears to be a journeyman coach who has a few stops in the SEC. Nothing screams recruiting wizard or developer extraordinaire. He's not young or hip. If he's been a building block of a great team I missed it.
  12. Ran into Craps Milf in Vegas an hour ago. She converted a hard 8 and winked at me.
  13. They seem capable for 2nd team linemen was my point, and it was couched as a question to be answered or addressed by those who know more about OL play.
  14. I seem to recall that several Surlies played OL high school, and @BurtMacklin seems quite knowledgeable about trench warfare. Hutson and Conner appear to me to be excellent depth pieces.
  15. "I thought, sure, I could use a condom... but when was I going to be in Haiti again?"
  16. This seems like a huge step down for BK. Houston ESPN to Austin You Tube? Either his ratings were poor and he was soon to be cashiered or he needs medical attention for the blow to his head.
  17. There's a reason he has to keep the cat on a leash, Fluffy thinks he's a douche, too.
