  1. Everything about ATM is just a giant, endless tape loop.
  2. Sweet Music!
  3. This. The AAS sucks, but it really does look like the Big 12 is moving the goalposts hour by hour trying to contrive a way to keep us out of the CCG. And I'm not a conspiracy theorist/aggy.
  4. Holy shit, I had to look this up. Beyond eerie.
  5. Apparently Yormark is in attendance tonight. I wonder who the officiating crew is?
  6. How is that allowed? In mid-season?
  7. Gerry is at least somewhat circumspect about it but Wells might as well fly a fucking plane banner over Stillwater. He's approaching Fat Ketch territory.
  8. I would think that was merely one of many, many data points. But yes, never a good idea to embarrass your school, team and athletic department like that.
  9. Great stuff, thanks, Beau! Hoping to find a link for the Forney-Lone Star tilt and the West Plains-Graham game. And keeping a good thought out for Helobious and his Cardinals.
  10. From West Simsbury TEXAS!
  11. Everything in this post is gold.
  12. Good lord, so much Purdue. They have to prove it to me.
  13. You might be partly right, but it would be the entire system. Running a diploma mill is difficult when you have to raise the costs of attending school. Even as they stride proudly in the commuter school direction.
  14. Sherman always seemed to me to be a fish out of water there. I really don't know a lot about him, but he seemed more normal.
  15. Josephine and the Technicolor Dreamcoat
  16. That ain't Zappa. That man has got a name, and it's JIm Croce.
  17. They love their national championship coaches, what about Ed O? That would be a thing of beauty and a joy forever.
  18. He wasn't a good hitter, but he was an elite baserunner and pretty good defender. That used to play before teams caught up to the new realities of baseball. I remember Gaylord Perry was with Cleveland and had a scoreless streak at work; he walked Nelson to open the game, who proceeded to steal 2nd, 3rd and home.
  19. Dave Nelson is one of my favorite players ever. I actually received a private base running lesson from him. Nice man.
  20. I was at the Twins doubleheader in '72, sitting in the right-center bleachers. I was 12. We gave the Twins CF Bobby Darwin all kinds of shit. A just-turned 21 Bert Blyleven started one of the games for Minnesota.
