  1. Nah, mom and grandmom want certainty, they are voting UGA. Grandad may favor Tuscaloosa, but I think the Manning men want the Horns to be great.
  2. Most of the head coaching candidates won't commit to the Stars unless Gagliardi assures them that Nil will be here for their year 2. Trotz, Tocchet and Savard all supposedly made that a condition. Not sure which other candidates were that specific, but they are all reluctant to trust their second season to a GM that didn't hire them. He should extend Nil and hire Trotz, who would kill it in Dallas with the strong defenders and young playmakers.
  3. Why a silent? What purpose would that serve? If he wants to recruit talent to play with him, he should just make it public.
  4. Bardot, Moreau, Ardant, Aimee, et al.
  5. Has anyone heard if Johntay Cook cancelled his Oregon OV and came to Austin instead?
  6. It's a point of pride that we have more national championships then they have CWS victories.
  7. I was thinking of Zach Edey of Purdue. Mark Eaton 2.0 might be better compensated via NIL. Then go slam some hot Euro ass for a few years.
  8. You can spot some positives re: the recruitment of Arch: he clearly persuaded the LB from Alabama to OV here this weekend, Cook canceling his Oregon OV to be in Austin seems highly significant, and Will Randle is likely on commitment watch.
  9. The ECU tailgates are brought to you by the Wes Craven Estate, who thank Greenville for finally making The Hills Have Eyes and The Serpent and the Rainbow finally conceive.
  10. Tar Heels wish it would have rained. Looking bad for them.
  11. South of 820. Near All Saints, I think.
  12. Very. Sort of reinforced that idea of when it's your time, it's your time.
  13. Sure, but you swam in college and likely aren't 80 lbs + over an "acceptable" weight. This is his daily bread.
  14. In 2004 I was hit by a drunk driver in a head-on collision on a residential boulevard. It was only 10pm. He was in a Dodge Ram going 55 mph and I was in a Buick Park Avenue - a somewhat old school metal car. Fortunately, I had just turned onto said residential boulevard and was only going about 15mph. Car was totaled but I walked - kind of staggered - away from the wreck. Here's the kicker: he actually lived on the street, had two preschool age kids.
  15. I believe those were married student housing at one time. I lived off Exposition Blvd. for a while and that was the MS Shuttle route.
  16. You're in for a pleasant surprise. It's been years since I was there, and while I never wanted to settle down there, for certain there are a great many cities worse than Pittsburgh sporting better reputations.
